Poor customer service left for 30 mins before being seen after I reminded them I was there. Car not washed as part of service. Lost my key for 20 minutes.
Some check in staff rude and entitled. Car ready for collection 2 hrs later than advised.
Not as bad as Sidcup JLR but they certainly need a kick up the arse in customer service without the attitude.
Customerd can and will walk so buck em up children!

Really good prompt communications throughout the sales and financing processes, senior people happy to step in when my sales person away training in Germany, dealt effectively with a couple of challenges in the distribution chain, understood the needs of my situation and responded to it well, and the car was of course immaculate on delivery. All round great service. Could not fault them at all.

Did these people ever think that by using deceptive tactics before you've even engaged with them, that it might put questionmarks over the rest of their business practices? The fact that they keyword stuff their ads on Autotrader to fish for leads just tells you exactly what kind of business this is.
Thankfully this is a massive red flag so I was able to rule them out early in my car shopping journey.

Cannot thank Harwoods, Crawley LR enough. We’ve had THE BEST experience to date. In particular Marc Nicholls ~ what a valuable member of your team.
So our journey ….
Following an extremely disappointing experience at a local garage in Tonbridge - a salesperson was dismissive when the car we enquired about was no longer for sale … fair enough.
We saw something that peaked our interest, you know that feeling when it becomes exciting and are very much attracted to it? We asked a few questions and asked if we could look inside, the chap completely disregarded our attention.
We wholly understood the vehicle wasn’t available, he obviously thought we were time wasters …. Mmm
Following our huge disappointment from our local garage, we did a quick online search and headed to CRAWLEY … wow wow wow !! What fabulous, friendly and superb representative we were met with. An extremely friendly gentleman, Marc met us. Not only was he a thoroughly lovely chap, his time and knowledge was exemplary! What a huge assess he is to the team.
The very fact that we enjoyed Marc’s company & expertise … we found ourselves purchasing a new car …
Thank you Marc, we are so happy and you made the whole experience a very enjoyable & memorable time.
Forever thankful ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Purchase of Range Rover Autobiography
Dealing with Harwoods and in particular Kevin Rand was an absolute pleasure from the time of phoning an enquiry until driving the car away. The entire process was easy, seamless and timely. Nothing was too much for Kevin, including letting me take the car for a test drive with my husband. Kevin was polite, courteous and listened to my questions intently. He answered clearly, honestly and fully which was refreshing. Communication via email was timely and telephone calls returned.
Thank you Kevin for excellent service.

I had my Audi A7 serviced
2 months ago at Harwoods Crawley
The only thing that came up was my passenger
Wing Mirror but it was more cosmetic
So I asked how much it would be to replace the housing the price given was very reasonable
So I said I will book in to repair it next month
So I did call harwoods parts in Crawley a Guy called John answered I asked him to give me a quote on the complete wing mirror housing Painted
Including Turn signal
He told me £250
A day later I asked him if he can include window sail he said it should not be much for as I probably just clip on
Ok so I went to the appointment
But unfortunately I was told that the wing mirror housing had not been painted
I was told by Amber I would have to pay first before another appointment would be made so we did
Then I said could at least the window sail be fitted today so they agreed
But after 30 min I was told that to fit the sail was a bigger job then anticipated in other words it would cost more well a lot more £186
But I agreed
But that day I did not now that I was quoted only on the top half of the housing
In other words no bottom bit and no turn signal
Also at the end my Car was washed
Well it was not washed just wetted down all 4 wheels where still dirty
So when I went to the second appointment
I found out that I was totally miss led with the pricing and no turn signal and bottom of housing was ordered
I would have never gone ahead with the replacement of the wing mirror housing
If harwoods Crawley would have told the the real Price
The Only thing they fitted was the Mirror sail
But I would have never changed that if I knew that the price that I was told was un true
All in all a great Disappointment
i expected a lot more from a Audi dealership
I spoke to Chelsey a Manager at Crawley
But she was unwilling to help
The only thing they will refund is the money for the. Top part of the wing mirror
But not The Window Sail
So all I got is a new sail and the wing mirror still is un changed

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at Southampton Audi. I purchased an Audi Approved Used vehicle (3 years old) less than a year before a major fault developed, and instead of taking accountability, Audi have repeatedly claimed “corrosion” - something that should not happen on a 3-year-old car. An independent specialist spent over 24 hours investigating and confirmed there was no corrosion, but rather a faulty body control module, which should be covered under warranty. Despite this, Audi continue to deny responsibility, leaving me over £1,000 out of pocket before I have even had the car fixed. Even Audi’s own lead technician at another branch admitted corrosion should not occur on a car that new and to take it back to the purchasing dealer. After ten years as a loyal Audi customer, I’ve completely lost trust in the brand’s honesty and aftersales care.
Both Southampton Audi and the sales executive who sold me the car (Bradley Coates) has taken no accountability or responsibility in helping resolve and I have been completely dismissed.

Service and Mot today at Crawley. When it was booked in I asked for 2.30 pick up so I could get to school pick up on time, was advised this could be done. Reiterated this when car dropped off. Called and told it would be very nearly ready at 3 so arrived but car not ready. Excuse - it has to be logged into the system for a certain amount of time due to MOT’s being under government regulation!! Car not given back until 3.45 - staff could not be less bothered about this.

Fantastic company to buy a car from. Paul was our sales consultant who went above and beyond from the first point of contact.
He kept us well informed throughout the purchase process and even came in on his day off, a Sunday when business was closed to conduct our handover.
I would certainly not hesitate to recommend Harwoods Assured if you are looking for a quality car or first class service.

I am writing this review to urge extreme caution to anyone considering purchasing a vehicle from Harwoods BYD Coulsdon. Our experience has been the worst consumer nightmare imaginable.
We purchased a brand-new BYD Seal U from them on 16th August 2025. Within 5 minutes of driving away, the car’s audio and sensor warning systems completely failed—a major safety issue. We returned the car on 18th August and their managers confirmed the fault.
Since then, we have been subjected to nothing but neglect, silence, and broken promises:
Complete Silence: Despite countless emails and calls, they have ignored us for weeks.
Empty Promises: A manager named Francesca Corry called to assure us the issue would be expedited. That was over a week ago, and we have heard nothing since.
No Courtesy Car: They left our family without transportation, forcing us to rent a car at our own expense.
Irresponsible Behaviour: They have shown a blatant disregard for customer service, consumer law, and basic decency.
We have been forced to escalate this to Trading Standards, The Motor Ombudsman, and our finance provider. The mental distress and financial burden this has caused my family is unforgivable.
Do not make the same mistake we did. I cannot stress this enough: AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP.
If you do proceed, I advise you to:
Thoroughly test every function of the car before driving away.
Get every promise in writing.
Be prepared to fight for your basic consumer rights.
We would never have chosen this car had we known the dealership would abandon us the moment they had our money.

Had an MOT for our E-Pace today, with Harwoods Brighton. I opted to stay and wait and the staff could not have been more welcoming. They looked after me really well, with a newspaper and refreshments. Staff were friendly and polite. Fabulous service.

PART 1 DO NOT BUY A USED VEHICLE FROM HARWOODS AUDI SOUTHAMPTON I purchased my Audi Q5 on the 16/4/25 from Audi Southampton Harwoods Group, on the 29/July/2025 the water washer motor stopped working, I contacted Audi Swindon and arranged for the part to be replaced as I had an extended warrenty for a year which started from the day of purchase. Audi Swindon offered to carry out a Vehicle Health Check which I agreed too.
However I was shocked with the result of the health check to the tune of approximatly £1,195 as I at that time only owned the vehicle for 3 and a half months, I feel that I have been let down badley by Audi Southampton Harwoods Group as I would not expect to have so many faults in such a short time of ownership. Audi Swindon contact Tanya. been very helpful and has tried on numerous occasions to contact Harwoods Group but has had no reponse, I have also contacted Harwoods Group via email and throught there live chat but to no avail. I feel that Harwoods should be responsible for correcting these issues as I have only owned to vehicle for such a short period and can ill afford to pay out over a thousand pound to correct problems that should not have occured this early in my ownership of the vehicle, AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE
PART 2 In order for me and my wife to drive the Q5 I have just paid out £290 for two new Michelin tyres, I was also informed and showed the tracking which was off on all four tyres so in addition I have just paid an additional figure of £100 for all wheels to have the tracking sorted, add these costs to the £1,195, so far this the bill is £1,585 keep watching for the next installment.
PART 3 As you can see from below I have been requested once again send them information which I have done on the 12 Aug 2025, here we are on the 23 Aug 2025 and not a peep from them in any form not even an acknowledgment of messages sent, it is appaling that a company like this can ignore a customer completely after purchasing a car from them
PART 4 Dated 5 Sept 2025 still not a word or response from any of my communications
Part 5 Dated 20 Sept 2025 Still no communication or response in any shape or form
Part 6 Dated 14 Oct 2025 I am sorry to say once again but still have not heard anything from HARWOODS PLEASE READ THIS ARTICLE BEFORE YOU PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM HARWOODS

I was recently charged £615 to be told that my 2018 Range Rover Velar (with 94,000 miles and a full JLR dealership service history) needs a new engine — costing over £15,000, which is more than the car is worth.
The car failed to start with no prior issues or warning signs. The AA suspected a timing chain issue and advised recovery to a dealership. I contacted Harwoods Land Rover Brighton, who quoted a £246 inspection fee.
After inspection, they suspected timing chain issues but couldn’t confirm the extent of the damage without further testing — requiring an additional £492 incl. VAT, bringing the total to £738. This was later reduced to £615 as a goodwill gesture.
They later confirmed internal engine failure and quoted £16,865.60 for engine replacement (reduced to £15,850). Harwoods raised a case with Jaguar Land Rover UK, but they refused any goodwill contribution, citing the vehicle’s age and mileage.
This is unacceptable for several reasons:
A complete engine failure at 94,000 miles with no warning is unreasonable for a premium-brand vehicle.
The car has a full JLR service history.
Diesel engines are generally expected to last far longer.
A £15,000+ engine replacement is disproportionate and raises concerns about the vehicle’s reliability.
JLR’s refusal to support or contribute, even partially, is extremely disappointing. I expected better from a brand that markets itself as premium. If you're considering a Range Rover Velar — or any Jaguar Land Rover vehicle — I strongly urge you to think carefully about long-term reliability and support

Avoid like the plague, bought a used discovery last year had dpf fault within two months which they wouldn't cover, now one year in turbo went and blew the engine up, approached harwoods and they weren't interested, £19000.00 gone just like that.

I recently took my Volvo XC90 to Harwoods Volvo Croydon Service Centre after having a very poor experience with another authorised Volvo dealer. From the moment I arrived, the service team at Volvo Croydon were polite, friendly, and very helpful.
The technical team quickly found the problem with my car and fixed it without delay. Throughout the whole process, the service team kept me well informed and made sure I knew what was happening at every step.
I am very pleased with the way everything was handled and feel much more confident about the care my vehicle received. I highly recommend Harwoods Volvo Croydon Service Centre to anyone looking for professional and reliable service.
Thank you to the whole team at Harwoods Volvo Croydon Service Centre.

We are first time customer of Harwoods and went there to view a second car which did not holdour interest. As we wandered around the showroom Mr Kelli Bragg introduced us to the Dolphin Comfort which was on show! We were very impressed with his professionalism as he demonstrated his knowledge of the car, We went on a test drive and fell in love with it, We agreed on a part exchange and bought the car. The whole process was very smooth and the hand over was awesome. Mr Bragg was very helpful throughout the process as we started a new journey into electric cars. We must thank him for kindness and help.
