Mixed feelings

I have mixed feelings about this company. What really enraged me was this long and complicated kyc procedure. As for mining itself, I can say that I mined with them about six months, before all this happened. I made pretty good money. I don't know exactly what's going on there right now, but back then I was satisfied with my income.

HashFlare is a SCAM!!!!!

HashFlare is a SCAM!!!!!
Do not go with them EVER!!!!

I invested some money and less then 3 month they sent me email saying we are closing all accounts because it's no longer profitable.

I tried to withdraw whatever money I made but they said you need to go through verification process.
I uploaded all my docs and waited for over 3 month. Nobody got back to me.
I emailed them multiple times, they say we have multiple requests so you have to wait.
I waited another month and then I got email that my ID got rejected.
They don't provide reason why, they just say it's rejected.
So I uploaded it 3 more times and it was rejected again.
I started emailing and they said you did not put your ID number in the failed.
Are you for real??? You have my ID # on the ID home could you reject it for such a silly reason?
So I figured they just finding any reason to reject your verification and delay pay out.
So STAY AWAY FROM HashFlare for EVER!!!!

Not completely a scam but shady business practices

it is true that it paid out but it made it extremely difficult to do so.

- It has instated thresholds making it difficult to exceed, for instance, minimum between 0.1 and 0.5 BTC needed to withdraw the money, which took months for many to come even close to that amount. Meanwhile, mining became unprofitable so they stopped altogether. Many people are being left with bitcoins in their wallet unable to transfer out.

- Minimum bitcoin amounts were introduced because of high traffic. If their main concern was that they could easily limit the number of withdrawals one can do. For months they are not mining but they still have the thresholds. Clearly, their concern was not just the traffic.

- All of a sudden they mandated identification of their users. And this was months, in some cases years after accepting their deposit.

- They sold the same amount of hashrate for $280 and a few months later $80. Either they work with huge margins, or they knew they wouldn't have to do a complete payout.

HASHFLARE HAS A CHANCE, BUT LITTLE ONE

I posted my opinion about HF for a long time ago here, but now I changed it a little - they still have crisis in Market and can nothing to do with it, but as I see they have a great activity in twiiter, fb, also other platfroms, so maybe soon we will see something great.

guys, if you really hate hf and think it is scam please be patient, u look like children. hf is a project with history, so we can blame it until we have official doc it is a scam, but there is no docs like this one, so we have to wait when BTC market is good again

Not Scam

Of course not everything is great in this company, also I had been really shocked when I heard about contracts, it was annoying. But!
1) This company works for a really long time and police still did not close it, it still works and answers
2) it payed me a good money. no scam project would do it.

i think it can not be a scam, just bad time for mining now... i believ btc will be 20k to the end of this year as it was 2017 and Hash Flare would pay all btc to everyone, just wait.

Don't throw your money away, hashflare.io is a total scam, there maintenance fees eat up all your profits. You are much better off just investing in crypto, chances of success way higher.

DON'T MINE WITH THESE **SHOLES

DON'T MINE WITH THESE **SHOLES! A TON of BS involved here. I purchased several mining contracts, and there were problems from the very start. Nearly ZERO customer service unless you consider getting a response via email days or weeks later - somehow acceptable. My first mining contract purchase was made with Bitcoin (BTC), but between the purchase of the mining contract and the arrival of the BTC to Hashflare, the price of BTC decreased, leaving the entire transaction in limbo for WEEKS. There was literally ZERO customer service on this issue. I then had to buy more BTC and send in more than the mining contract purchase required in order to prevent the same thing from happening again. My excess BTC from the PURCHASE of the mining contract was NEVER refunded, nor was any additional hashrate applied to the mining contract to cover the difference. Then, down the road, eventually BTC dropped in price to the point where the "mining maintenance fees" exceeded the BTC production value. Instead of honoring the CONTRACTS and waiting for the BTC to regain or exceed it's original price, Hashflare announced to all holders of mining contracts of BTC that it was "DISCONTINUING BTC PRODUCTION!" This of course was blamed on the "maintenance fee exceeding the value of BTC production"! This is DESPITE MY HAVING PURCHASED A 1-YEAR MINING CONTRACT! Instead of offering credit on whatever cryptocoins the active Hashflare mining equipment was being "SWITCHED TO", there was NOTHING whatsoever done to accommodate, compensate, or titillate anyone holding an existing BTC mining contract! But that's not all! Then, BTC, ETH, and etc. were slapped with "MINIMUM WITHDRAWAL AMOUNTS" that effective TIED UP THE CRYPTOCOIN BALANCES so that they COULD NOT BE WITHDRAWN by the holders of the mining contracts! Of course, the entire cryptocurrency market plummeted, and only holders of HUGE mining contracts had enough cryptocoins to meet the "minimum withdrawal requirements". This meant that everyone holding a Hashflare mining contract basically lost their *SSES while the value of cryptocoins plummeted because all their crytocoins were tied up with Hashflare. Customer service regarding this issue: NON-EXISTENT! Weeks later, the BS response from Hashflare amounted to "We are working on this problem, and in the weeks/months to come, it will be resolved so that you can withdraw your cryptocurrency in lower amounts". What a bunch of CREEPS! Then, if THAT wasn't enough, Hashflare decided to implement "ID VERIFICATION REQUIREMENTS" to pull ANY of the mined cryptocurrencies out! These verification requirements effectively tie the holders of the mining contracts up for WEEKS and MONTHS to come! I went through HELL finding a phone number somewhere in the UK for this company, but it is really nothing more than a SHELL GAME, with NO HUMAN BEINGS AVAILABLE to deal with ANY OF THE ISSUES that were enumerated here. STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOSER-SCAMMING **ITHOLE of a TRAVESTY! WHAT A JOKE!

$90 down with no recourse, possibly a further $45 lost by the end of the year

I invested approximately $90 six months ago, on two 12-month mining contracts, split evenly between SHA-256 and Scrypt, hoping to see a small profit from my small investment, or at least break even. I have mined just 0.005 BTC (around $37), but Hashflare have now stopped mining as they say it's unprofitable. They have a 0.01 BTC minimum withdrawal, so I'll never get my BTC back. And, as per their T&Cs, there's no way to get a refund of my initial investment, not even for the months left on my contract.

I also have a $45 ETH mining contract with six months left to run. So far I've mined 0.05 ETH ($23), half of the minimum withdrawal amount. ETH mining difficulty would need to stay static for the remaining 6 months for me to break even and actually withdraw my money. Any increase in difficulty (or decision by Hashflare that it's no longer profitable) means I won't hit the minimum withdrawal, and again my money will be stuck in the system. Nightmare!

I feel sorry for people that have invested significant amounts. Yes, they can withdraw their money as long as they have at least 0.01 BTC in their balance, but they're still likely to have lost the majority of their capital with no prospect of recouping it.

On both counts, I'd have been much better off if I'd simply bought crypto with my investment and held onto it.

Lost my $100. They first reduced payouts to zero and today received email saying they are cancelling all contracts. Wonder how all of a sudden they are having difficulty mining when they did fine for so long. Definitely a scam. Why doesn't someone investigate and sue this company.

Hashflare - just a con

Initially promising great returns, I bought a $3000 contract and my wife a $300 contract. Hashflare then arbitrarily changed their terms of service, including setting a minimum amount of bitcoin you can withdraw. My wife's "investment" was so small it would be at least 6 months before she could actually get a return - and then they 'suspend' all contracts and stop paying because the bitcoin price is "too low" - yet they were selling contracts and paying out when BTC was $2000!!! Also, because the contracts are 'suspended', my BTC (just under the minimum .03 withdrawal amount is trapped and cant be withdrawn. In other words, they've stolen my money and what is supposedly there, they wont let me withdraw. Con trick, rip off and a scam. Dont touch this crowd with a bargepole.

It is a scam, don’t bother...

It is a scam, you pay a premium for a 1 year only contract. But the maintenance cost is very high when compared with the payout so you can NEVER get a Return On Investment. They will stop paying out if their costs increases e.g. “when BTC difficulties increases”, but they won’t pause the mining contract during that time, so essentially it is making you pay for their maintenance!

Now, It's a scam like all cloud mining and ICO

It's not paying anything no. The maintenance fee reached 100% when the Bitcoin sell at 6000 US $ and the mining difficulty skyrocket to triple in only 6 month.
I purchase for 2200 us$ worth of 10 th/s and I reinvest 400 us$ for the first 2 weeks in 2017. I was able to withdraw 0.1 Bitcoin at the price of 10 000 us$. So, I get back 50% of my investment. But still manure. Better to invest in Bitcoin by buying It and wait. The future exchange of Bitcoin call ForeEx is the same scam. You never got you total investment and they making profit and won?t allow you to withdraw despite the regulation on Wall Street exchange.
Turn after 6 month a scam company from December 2017.
