I ordered a desk calendar with custom…

I ordered a desk calendar with custom images. A few days later they got in touch to ask me to resend the images as they weren't generating properly their end. I resent the images and then they sent the calendar out about a week later. When it arrived, they had sent a wall calendar not a desk calendar. I emailed and asked them to resend a desk calendar which they said they would. That was 3 weeks ago and I have heard nothing since, despite chasing. I have asked for a refund now but not holding out hope. EDIT - I have now received the calendar, bit late but better than never!

A month later and so many emails.

On their website it says that all uploaded artwork is proofed by a human, before they print it. Perhaps this is the case and they thought that the completely illegible flyers would be absolutely fine. These were hand-drawn save the date cards/flyers for our wedding.
We picked the seeded stock paper, so admittedly we were foolish.
The expectation that hatchprint would contact us to say “ By the way, we can’t see what’s drawn and written at all on the paper you’ve chosen. Maybe pick a different paper stock?” was not met, despite it being advertised on their website. Perhaps the fact that this stock is particularly expensive had something to do with it. We can only speculate.
Nevetheless on the 09/11/23 we emailed asking for a refund because of the above reason. It’s worth pointing out here that Hatchprint.co.uk did not send us an invoice, so finding the order number was a bit of a pain. Luckily I paid via paypal so found it that way. Something to be aware of; as I’ve seen other reviews where people mention they never received an invoice.

Eventually after some back and forth, on the 21/11/23 they offered to reprint the artwork on different stock, that we picked. They didn’t offer any suggestions about which stock, nor did they apologise, or acknowledge when we mentioned the proofing. They merely informed us that it was a good will gesture and they wouldn’t refund us because “ it was printed on the seeded paper and it was printed exactly the same as the artwork supplied..”.
Fine, we’ll take some responsibility there, although the second choice stock was cheaper, and they refused to refund the difference.
They emailed us on the 28/11/23 confirming they had actioned the reprint. We emailed on the 04/12/23 enquiring about the flyers and they responded they’d sent them that day and asked for next day delivery.
What followed was a lot of silence and excuses from hatchprint. We emailed again on 08/12 having not received anything .I spoke to Parcel2go, the courier ,who suggested I speak to hatchprint and ask them to contact parcel2go, as the tracking on the package indicated nothing had changed for days. We did this.
Then on 11/12 hatchprint replied, and again I told them parcel2go told me to ask hatchprint to contact parcel2go.
We were beginning to lose our patience at this point. We tried calling the number listed on their website. IT DOES NOT WORK.
On the 14/12 we emailed hatchprint again, informing them of this and they replied with some vague excuses blaming parcel2go and the person at hatchprint saying they were unwell.
After several emails they said they’d sent them again and finally we eventually received the flyers on the 22/12. What an absolute mission. Over a month later and not what we originally wanted.
Awful communication and very very lacklustre customer support. And to point out again- the phone number listed on their website does not work. Would not recommend nor use again.

Worst printing experience I've ever had as a designer

If I could give a negative amount of stars I would do so. The worst customer service, the worst printing quality, paid for next day delivery and received 7 DAYS LATER. Sometimes we all make mistakes, but Hatch wouldn't refund us! For prints we cannot use, that arrived 6 days later than promised. We are left completely out of pocket. Cannot stress strongly enough - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Total fraudsters who just ignore me now

Watch out - 'dissolved following liquidation'

Needed to print 2 banners to support an event on the 1st Feb. 2024. So, ordered the prints on Mon 22 Jan. 2024, with the option of 'delivery within 3 days'.

Unprofessionally, they got back to me on Friday 26 Jan. 2024, around 5.00pm, to tell me to adjust the dimensions. Then on Mon. 26 Jan. 2024, they told me that everything is under control and not to worry.

As of yet, they took the money and never printed the banners (still under 'processing' on their website!).

As they ignored me when I asked for a refund, I searched the company's profile on the Gov. webpage to then realise that it has been 'dissolved following liquidation’ since Sept 2023.

Watch out!

DO NOT USE

DO NOT USE! Terrible experience with Hatch, no communication throughout our order process, a part of our order just never arrived, despite us contacting them for months they failed to ever respond and we're still missing a huge quantity of flyers.

terrible app and useless customer service

The app store shows this app hasnt been updated in over 2 years. It constantly quits on me, forcing me to delete and redownload the app. I would gladly move on to another app, but this is the only one that works with the dumb changing pad scale that i regret getting. Customer service was zero help, just told me they have no plans/timeline for a resolution. They do NOT care about this app/product anymore, they are only interested in sleep products now. What an absolute waste of time and money - do NOT buy their products or attempt to use their app to track your baby's activity or progress. extremely disappointed in this product and the flaky careless customer service.

Always a great service from Hatch - thanks

We have used Hatch for lots of printing work and they are always fantastic. We always try to print as sustainably as possible and this is easy to do with Hatch. Their service is always quick and they are amazing to deal with. The quality of what they produce is always spot on too. We will continue to work with them.

TERRIBLE SERVICE

Terrible customer service, ignored, phone number not in use. Paid for next day delivery tracking but was delivered late, apparently couriers fault. Got a convoluted story. Very unreliable.

Such a good service from Hatch, I sent them a message about needing a custom weird sized print of my artwork and they handled the job without a problem. Special shout out to Katie who was a delight to chat to and handled everything I needed. Made the process really easy and the print turned out perfect.

A really disappointing first experience…

A really disappointing first experience with Hatch.
I ordered a roller banner and paid for next day delivery on 7th October and 12 days later it has still not arrived.
I received no email confirmation when I ordered, only a PayPal receipt.
I have emailed numerous times, messaged directly
from their website and tried to phone but the number is not in use!!
As I explained I understand that mistakes can happen but my gripe is the customer service. I had one email on 11th October saying they would chase up the order but absolutely nothing since despite my perseverance to get in touch with them.
I have now requested a refund so hope that they will follow this up!
Such a shame for a company that on the surface look fanatstic!

poor customer service & green washing

we were working to a deadline for an exhibition and were let down - received no response only days before we needed the printing… very poor customer service, plus their phone number never worked!! also very suspicious of their eco credentials... appears to be a lot of green washing

Can't meet deadlines

Paid extra for next-day delivery as it was for a conference and my normal printer couldn't do it in time. Hatch didn't deliver, despite being a lot more. Nor did they tell me they would not be able to deliver on the required date. Hard to get hold of as well. This is what you get when you email them

"PLEASE NOTE - I do not work on Wednesdays. My working hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday between the hours of 10am and 4pm. If you need something urgently on Wednesdays please head over to our live chat on our website between 10am and 2pm. I will aim to reply to all emails on my return on Thursday" - You can't run a next-day service like that!

First time trying them. Will not be back.

ANOTHER UPDATE:
As they’re trying to weasel their way out of it. These guys were called x3 times before I ordered. And twice on the day it was supposed to arrive. They were messaged on their own platform as well!

Customer service is NOT their strong point. Therefore I’ll say this: “Excuses are like buttholes, EVERYONES GOT UM‼️”

Already, NOT looking good…… I should’ve read reviews before I ordered‼️

I am an Ethically Sourced, Sustainable Fashion Brand. So thought it would be best to partner with a company with supposed positive ethics.

I have ordered 1 roller blind and 1 banners at 11:10 on 2/9/23. It was ordered for next day delivery. (£20+)

I have paid £134.79 for what is not a big order Nor big signs.

I’ve reported to PayPal fir refund.

In fairness, this is my fault for not doing my Due Diligence” and also going with my gut when I called 3x times yesterday and had no answer.

EDIT: hatch has now(17:00 approx) come back with A PASSIVE AGRESSIVE RESPONSE (see below)

Yes Hatch, YOU have been sent an email and a message on your very own website portal.
