Just Ew

Oh God, where to even begin with this disgusting server's diabolical issues which are seemingly non-stop, and which the money whoring owners seem to be in no rush to fix.

Well, you can often find the terrible mechanics of this server getting worse and worse after each factually trash update. This is all a result of the TMD-3 role playing staff members "realism" fetish. (Trying not to get them too excited right now, it's their favourite word atm). Anyway, I digress. Because of this you can often find your "infinite" money that you have ultimately been scammed hundreds of dollars out of becoming just the opposite... limited! (Who DOESN'T want limited money!?)
At this rate we might as well just add death bans and remove all commands to coincide with this *realistic* nonsense!

Well, anyway the owners can't seem to get it in their head that the server continues to die after each terrible update where they ruin PvP, but it's all in the name of user-friendly and realism! Ironically, the two of which the server has NEVER been based on, which is WHY it was popular. Well, it seems easy to understand, right? Apparently not, because 18 months later, these features are still ruining the server despite the fact they *want* to appeal to their OG players.

You'd think it would be easy on their forums to address these issues, however it is not when the server flunkies (AKA Helpers) act like they have some form of relevance in making final conclusions about ideas regarding the server, when really they simply have no say whatsoever, but whatever, we'll let them have their moment - they just want huggies.

You can often find yourself lost among the amazon rain forest inside buildings such as Grady Memorial Hospital (not sure why they have grass growing through second floor floorboards, these are the same people who criticised Walking Dead MC for having realistic moss on gutters and roofs, but yeah - we're the wrong ones.) It's either that or you're suffocating among darkness as you can often find copy and pasted buildings are filled to the brim with black wool, because that just goes so well with their realistic agenda.

Oh, you can also find them taking demoted builders good builds and smearing shiet all over them, shame they're building for a better server now.

They also conveniently add Washington D.C. as soon as Walking Dead MC do? Hmm, odd. Wouldn't be the first thing features have been carbon copied for this trash server.

Overall, just stay away from this god-awful server, the ship is sinking so much that even one of the owners has given up (and that is saying A LOT because he is especially in love with money.)

The Mining Dead Updated Review - MangledFury

So, it has been a year on since my last review. I am truly stunned by the rate at which these server owners kill off their Minecraft server. It started off with them catering to new players by capping and removing almost everything that made the server fun and likeable. From then on, it was a constant down hill slide of utterly appalling updates, server wipes and resets. They would often reset the server, claiming to have a "revolutionary update in the works", but.... This never seemed to come to light, the player base would decrease and decrease until we get to today, August 24th 2018. The server only has around 15% of 2016's players, most of which sit AFK in spawn, they've nerfed healing so much to the point that the server has became a "sit and wait simulator", while you're constantly healing after being brawled by a zombie that is faster than Usain Bolt on crack. The development of the server has truly gone to dust, the Owners are deluded into thinking the path they're taking is working. When old players complain about the new PVP systems, they often bring up the excuse of them wanting more realistic game play, if this is so true, why are zombies faster than the speed of light, like I've mentioned, why is there a massive hill in the middle of a super flat poorly world edited grass-land, that sticks out more than an iceberg in the pacific ocean. Lastly, why should players get to respawn? If the server is so realistic, we should only have one life, re spawning is absurd! Based on their logic, players should get permanently banned upon their first and only death.

Get a grip TMD, or should I say HavocMC (The name of an attempted multi-gamemode network that failed miserably so they announced the'd be reverting the main focus onto The Mining Dead, and we know how that went based off my comments from above...) To conclude this in-depth but truly accurate review. If you have a time machine and are able to go back to early 2016, by all means head there and play the server until your heart is content, because you'll love it. The only people who love the server now are TMD-3 users who got forced onto the main server because the player base left and servers weren't getting filled so they combined them, if that isn't a sign that the server is dying, I don't know what it is (The staff were defending the fact that the server wasn't dying).

No-body wants to run around for half an hour finding no players in the main city, only to come across a naked called SkyeKnight with kit hunter, who one taps you in the head with an R700 sniper rifle when you're in full juggernaut, because healing just takes too long...

Quite bad.

Honestly, truly awful. Corrupt staff who seem to think they are above everyone else, even outside of Minecraft, where they will threaten people online who go against them, in a means of saying "stuff" will happen if the person doesn't stop, regardless if that person has any connection to the server. The server and community is constantly deteriorating after each update.

Diabolical Minecraft server, stay away.

1 star (if their was an option for 0 stars, you bet we'd be selecting that). First of all, you can often find yourself being banned for no reason and then the staff members begging for upwards of $300 in return for an unban. This is frankly unprofessional and violates Mojang's Terms of Service. Also, the so called "Owners" of this dying Minecraft server, are often seen on Potter World MC (IP - play.potterworldmc.com if you'd like to join them), instead of dealing with their own server problems, which there are a lot of them. The staff often break the rules by spawning items in illegally and using "duffle bags" to duplicate rare items. These same staff members are the ones who ban people who have donated hundreds of dollars for partaking in the same activities. It is truly a joke and is corrupt, do not give these money whores any time of day, stay away. DO NOT even consider buying a rank, plus the map is so ugly. They claim to have the best replica Walking Dead map out there, when frankly they just fill a bunch of chunky buildings with black wool (their favorite block). Also, if you have 32 render distance, you can often see their poorly replicated "Grady Memorial Hospital" from anywhere around the map, because it takes up about 75% of their black wool infested map. They love making 10 block wide vans and their terrain terra-forming is simply laughable. The server is bias towards people who love to use the dog filter on Snapchat, as this certain user has receive a special rank called "Mythical", this further proves the unbalanced nature of the server and the corruptness. This server also enjoys stealing and copying content from "WalkingDeadMC" and "YomNetwork" alike. However, the staff proceed to go into investigation mode whenever someone has their texture pack and continues to file lawsuits against 10 year old who are simply having fun on Minecraft. These owners think they are legitimate business men. To add, the rest of the staff seem to believe that this Minecraft staff authority is carried onto the outside world, where they make it seem like everything revolves around their diabolical server. If you'd like to visit a true Walking Dead style server, visit "MangledFury" on YouTube, where you can see the development of a better and truly community based Walking Dead server. Releasing once "MCPROHOSTING" get their act together. That's a whole other story, if you'd like to see more, visit the "MCPROHOSTING" review section on this website.
