What’s wrong with this app!

What’s wrong with this app? This company clearly has no issues with its poor profile and seems to have a distinct lack of regard for customer satisfaction given the complete ignorance of its poor viewing platform which from these reviews ( which will only be a handful of the problems) ascertain is a real issue. Each time I use the app on my IPad I try to open it again to no avail so result in deleting and reinstalling the app! Obviously you can’t do this if you are trying to access something you download to view offline because you are no longer connected to the internet!

The worst app I’ve ever used

The worst app I’ve ever used. It constantly gets stuck on a loop of a random program and comes up with errors so you can’t watch what you try and select.
I’m constantly deleting and re-installing the app…

Will Charge You Even If You Cancel Your Subscription

Cancelled my subscription in February and received an email confirming the cancellation. Find out I've still been charged for March, April and now May despite cancelling. Immediately logged in, cancelled the subscription (again) to avoid further charges and contacted support for a refund with a screenshot of the original email confirming the cancellation.

Received no help whatsoever, very generic email stating the cancellation was processed and I wouldn't be charged again but that they were not issuing a refund even though I had proof I cancelled months prior???

ALWAYS LATE. Buy it on iTunes.

Comcast clearly just made up a buggy streaming service and left it to run on autopilot. There is rarely a time that any program is uploaded on time - hours and hours late, usually. But they sure post the teasers on time. It’s cheap to buy on Amazon and you get what you pay for. If you want to watch anything on time you have to buy it on iTunes.

Scam

I paid for a subscription, couldnt log in and customer service told me my account doesnt exist. I sent proof of purchase and now im being ignored. So essentially im paying for a service i cant access… update: theyve responded by saying they will close my case since they havent heard back from me even though I have email proof Ive given everything theyve asked for. SCAMMERS

A literal scam

A literal scam, the website and app glitch so badly you can’t even do anything, especially not contact customer service, log-in said no account existed with my email but that obviously isn’t true since I’ve been getting email receipts for all the charges on my card for six months even after I tried messaging and emailing to cancel every single month when I got charged, finally got through to a representative over email today and they were completely unhelpful, condescending and dismissive and refused to refund me anything. Don’t give these people your information, they will continue to charge you long after you’ve tried to unsubscribe from their “service” - I think they make it so difficult to contact them on purpose so that they can do what they did to me and claim that they never got any messages requesting a cancellation. I wish I had documented the messages I sent to prove that I had been messaging them, that was my biggest mistake aside from ever signing up in the first place.

This app is a SCAM

This app is a SCAM! It worked for a couple days and since then I have been locked out of my account with a wrong password.. which I did not change! The site won’t send a password reset e-mail either. Just locked out for days!
I received one e-mail reply asking for bank information they already have! And since then it’s been days with no response!
In the one e-mail they sent they said I don’t have an active subscription.. Yet I was just charged for the month and watching 3 days before!
Still haven’t been able to get into my account to cancel my subscription!
I never even changed my password and now I’m locked out!!! Just ridiculous!

I have never in my life used a worse…

I have never in my life used a worse product than Hayu. Not only is the UI terrible in app, but the constant error message and glitches are such a frustration. I hope a UK competitor picks up bravo shows so Hayu can cease to exist as it deserves to. If I could give zero stars I would.

Hayu is absolutely useless

Hayu is absolutely useless. Most of the time the app doesn’t work on my tv. Every other streaming service works great. I’m sick of trying to get Hayu to work. Fix your stupid app and stop getting people to subscribe to an app that doesn’t work most of the time.

Literal thieves.

I have had a terrible experience with Hayu, they have charged me twice in one month, once through Amazon and once directly. This could be an honest mistake so I contacted Amazon who told me it was Hayu I needed to contact and not them.
I did so, they then proceeded to take a week to reply to me before asking for my bank details via email, which is totally unethical, and they already clearly have my details as they charged me twice. Which is the same account, same email address used on only one device, after expressing my discomfort in doing that they said they refuse to refund me. I’m shocked and disgusted by the reply I received it was sarcastic and dismissive, this is not ok, it is in-fact stealing and I will be escalating this complaint, on principle, until I get my subscription back. I also have cancelled this subscription 3 times and it is still apparently showing as active. Furious. Terrible customer service.

Great shows - bad platform

Hayu has tons of great TV shows, but it's not a platform you can rely on. When I go to watch a show, I never know if I will actually be able to watch it/play it properly or not. It's such a shame. The download option rarely works for me and has never let me download more than two episodes at a time. Other than that, even when I'm playing the show using wifi half the time an error code will pop up and I can't play it. They really need to work on the streaming technology they are using.

Hayu - the buggiest streaming service around

Hayu, at least in the UK, is lucky it has no real competitors that show complete seasons of Real Housewives & similar. It’s the buggiest streaming service around, and I regularly find myself googling “is Hayu down?” because it’s not working. I’m sat on a train right now, having downloaded two episodes, ready to watch with limited signal, and the downloads simply won’t load. Ironically I’ve resorted to watching YouTube with poor signal, which works, over pre-downloaded but totally inaccessible content. I’m a longtime subscriber, and as soon as another app comes along that offers the same shows, I’m out. It’s not all terrible - watching my fave US shows in one place is great, but as a paying customer of a service that has been around for years, I’m not impressed. 2/5 is a fair star rating.

Excellent streaming service!!

I don’t understand all these bad reviews?? I’ve never had an issue with them. Lots to watch and it’s a good price!! I had an issue with my account so I emailed them and within a few hours the issue had been resolved!! Excellent customer service!!

dont touch them. Bad experience and you cant just go into your bank and cancel. theyve been taking money from me for months and blogged from accessing until i go through hurdle of logins and passwords. if they work!!!!

The worst streaming service I’ve ever…

The worst streaming service I’ve ever used, would crash constantly I could never get through a full programme so I cancelled, but that’s not all. I start to see random payment being taken out of my bank every month after cancelling, turns out they’re still charging me, the payment wasn’t under “hayu” so I had no idea where the payment was coming from and I have been robbed for months on end. messaged my bank to help me find out where it’s coming from and they couldn’t figure it out so they told me to block the payments, got an email today saying my subscription was cancelled from hayu due to the fact I failed to update my card info!!! Not happy at all I want my money back

Hayu is the worst app as it keeps crashing and constant login requests and difficulties. I got so frustrated that I have canceled the subscription after less than 3 weeks. It’s a shame as the content is good. Can’t believe how poor the app is - and from reading all the other negative feedback it appears Hayu has no interest in speedily addressing the bugs and technical problems.
