I learned a lot of information that I never got when I took classes elsewhere. Ms Palmer is very knowledgeable and very nice. When I had questions and the certification test for Pharmacy Technician she gave me a lot of information to look for. The guide was great.

Hello well I also felt like it was a scam ... the email has link to to boot you straight to a Payment portal and the discounted details feel a little odd.. I am stuck between a hard place ans rock with this one.. I mean of course I want the convenience of online education but I also was to make sure my time is accredited. The communication seems a bit rushed and all over the place . I was actually told to follow up with the reviews on trust polite but it actually confused me further ... I truly don't know what step ro move forward with ... please helppp😔

I was interested in the program, looking to get certified as a MA. I thought that it was kind of weird that the person who reached out to me sttd he tried to call and he sent me emails regarding the program never received any of that. I then called, and he sttd both times randomly in the phone call “the call
Is being recorded” most businesses accredited ones at that do not state that in random parts of the phone call. He was not informative at all just simply sttd he would send an email. His name is Marlon. I get a bad feeling like this is a scam, and after reading reviews i decided not to go further with health tech academy. Fast forward this morning this will be the 3rd email call and Text since last Friday. I told him I wasn’t interested in starting until January and told him I’d reach out when I was ready. And like I said after my encounters with him, and deciding not to move forward. I kindly messaged him after he texted me asking him to please stop contacting me he then replied back “ That's all you had to say in the first place, than playing games like you're seriously interested Stop playing games” and “ No worries, I know you couldn't afford the program. It’s okay” VERY unprofessional and definitely a scam. I reached out to the admissions to speak to a supervisor, I was called back within the hour stting that this person “was let go” I don’t believe it for one second. I would not recommend health tech academy just based off my interactions with these people, and also the reviews. Doesn’t seem like a legit program.

Very responsive before you sign up then silence. Completed the program in 2 weeks. It was too easy, they're just short slides and videos which you can fast forward and answer a few quizzes with no real exams to test your knowledge, so not sure if this will even be accepted when it comes to looking for a job since they don't offer clinicals. I have emailed support twice in one week to ask what the next step is as far as preparing for certification exam as promised and still have yet to receive a response, don't think ill receive one at this point. Seems like once they have you enrolled, you're at a complete dead end after that. They wont respond other than email you to remind you of your payment due. I will be going through NHA on my own and hope that this wasn't a scam or waste of my time and money. They also promise to help you with job assistance but at this point it seems like those are all just false promises.

What I really liked was that the program had flexible pacing. Life is always busy and it was essential that I could proceed through the learning lessons at whatever speed I needed without it appearing hurried or pressure to work. It enabled me to be loyal to the program over time and gradually improve in it, irrespective of having other responsibilities.

Signing up was smooth and easy classes seem straight forward and very informative for medical assisting.

over all, the school isn't bad- opportunity wise. Communication just isn't the greatest. They will respond instantaneously prior to signing up. But once enrolled it seems as though communication hits a wall. I didn't take a class that required clinicals, everything was all online. I have yet to receive a "certificate" of completion from the school, but I was able to print off my certification via the NHA website. I can understand why people would think its scam, when you call they already know who you are. I found that pretty weird. I thought it was pretty thoughtful that they mail you a bookbag with small tokens inside. had a few hiccups with my assigned advisor, as stated communication lacks. i was informed by my assigned advisor that I didn't need MY BOOKS for the course only for the exam (to study) when you in-fact need your books throughout the course. At least to familiarize yourself with the criteria. Was also misinformed about the study guides, and so many other things. you are pretty much on your own once enrolled. I am unsure if I will receive the "guaranteed" job placement assistance they advertise but, overall I would still recommend if you're ok with doing the leg work yourself.

They were communicating until I asked about lab/clinical . I literally received no response from my question until I mentioned a refund on my deposit fee.

Yikes, thank god for the reviews, I almost applied and I’m glad I didn’t. Reading all these reviews about no placements for clinicals is outrages. To read the response of the school stating it is our job to look for the placement as well, when they advertise they have clinical placements everywhere. I rather not spend my money nor my time on a fraudulent school, with misleading information. I live in NJ so I wonder where they would have clinicals. Also to finish the program in 4 months, then wait 6months to see if I can even be placed at a clinical location is already suspicious.

Not a good school I asked before I paid my admission fee would I be able to take my clinicals with them for surgical tech boot camp since I had prior knowledge they said yes but once I completed the course and all the other things I was giving a data base to call & try & set up my own clinicals because the hospitals they are affiliated with are hours away from me I was never able to secure a clinical site because they have to be affiliated I was giving a whole script to say & ask but nothing never happened I reached out I was ghosted I emailed & called no one ever got back with me & so I was stuck out with no place close enough to complete my 125 cases they require & the only way you can talk with someone is if you click for admissions they say they send emails for people to get back with you but no one ever calls back quick to take your money to get you in but no follow thru once you complete course work to move to the next level

The onboarding process with the program has been good so far, no problems. Something that stood out was how many mentors are going to be able to help. After finishing this program I would hope to take my certification and find a job.

I am a new student and I am not happy about this "website under maintenance" surprise I just got as I am in the middle of a test.
Of all the questions in the test about professionalism, this is highly unprofessional behavior that you are modeling to your subscribers. If there's maintenance outages, scheduled or not, the company should be notifying its customers/students. You should not be interrupting my only time of the day to work on this without even notifying us of what is going on.

So far, I am not recommending this underwhelming program to anyone.

Farzeen went out of her way to work on a solution for my dashboard not working properly for course access and was able to rectify it correctly and quickly.
I am so grateful to her and the team for fixing the problem quickly and working patiently with me through it.

I enrolled through a program. Once everything was approved the on boarding was fast and detailed. Self- pace courses and EVERYTHING is online ! With having one more course to complete, I’m still excited about my new career as a Surgical Technician.

In the process of working with a law firm who will take my case!!!! This online school is a fraud and they will scam you!!!!!!!!!

The instructors are always there for you and are also so supportive and encouraging! I like going at my own pace which is the main reason why I chose Health Tech Academy. The material is very easy to go through and is organized for ease. I highly recommend Health Tech Academy without hesitation.
