Our NHS-trained Advanced Nurse Practitioners and Advanced Paramedic Practitioners are experienced Independent Prescribers with extensive backgrounds in NHS primary care, urgent care, and emergency medicine. We provide professional, convenient home visits for adults and children aged 2+ with a wide range of minor illnesses and injuries, helping patients access timely healthcare without the stress of travelling to a surgery or waiting room. At Healthvisit, we believe many patients still value the reassurance, continuity, and personal approach of traditional face-to-face healthcare. We combine modern clinical practice with the convenience of home visits, offering an alternative option for people who may struggle to access appointments due to busy working lives, mobility difficulties, caring responsibilities, transport issues, or simply personal preference. Our clinicians can assess and treat a wide variety of everyday health concerns, including infections, chest infections, sore throats, urinary infections, ear problems, skin conditions, allergies, hay fever, minor injuries, general illness, and other common primary care presentations. Prescriptions can be issued where clinically appropriate by our Independent Prescribers. Healthvisit is not intended to replace NHS GP services or emergency care. Instead, we work alongside existing healthcare services to provide additional patient choice and help support continuity of care. With patient consent, we can liaise directly with the patient’s own GP practice to ensure important clinical information is shared appropriately.
