I ordered a spare part as an urgent order. It was dispatched that afternoon and arrived by 11:15 the next morning, which was a great relief. However, the reason for writing a review is that had several queries about the order, and even checking on dispatch, as it was very urgent. The WhatsApp responses were excellent in all regards - pleasant, friendly and went beyond what could be expected to check on my order and help. So, thanks in particular to the person handling the WhatsApp queries (Tim? - sorry if wrong name). I don't normally leave revews, and sometimes people only leave reviews when things go wrong, but you do deserve 5* for my order.

Heating Spares and Controls have not provided a requested refund for mistakenly ordered item. The item showed on website as being in stock. Order cancelled within the legal 14 day limit, but it is now well over a month since I requested that refund.
Despite numerous emails direct and via their online Enquiry form, I have had no response to my correspondence or the refund.
Beware, this company has a twin (Heatxchange) operating from the same address in Walsall and I have had the very same problems with them, although after much timewasting I have, at last, received one refund. One still outstanding.
It is obvious to me that these companies hide behind the fact that they pretend / state that they haven't / don't receive my emails in order to hold on to your money for as long as possible. Also interesting, if trying to contact via telephone, you only get directed back to webpage. (No Human to answer questions).

Their T&C's make no mention of time line for refunds. I understand 14 days is usual for reputable companies.

Use this / these companies at your own risk. I shall be taking this matter further.

Placed order on 11th Feb and requested that it was not to be delivered until 17th Feb. It arrived nicely packaged today. Purchased a Hive Active Heating Thermostat Stand. Never knew that these were available. Our BG Heating Engineer told us about it and we ordered it. It is early days but happy at the moment.

Ordered several parts. N̈nothing arrived. Email not answered. 9 days ! Avoid. Address is a house in Walsall. Same house as "theheatxchange" whose website has same design of website . Check their reviews !!! Roy.
