Steve and Alfie today have transformed our bathroom space . The quality of the work is beautiful . Thank you Heightvale . So glad our insurance company works with you .

We have other contractors to thank for ongoing work and their thorough checking of what needed doing . I am going to make sure about the names of those contractors and write another review soon .

After reading some of the views on here I was a little concerned when my insurance company directed me to use them
I can only say I have no such concerns first rate service from contacting me to arrange a visit to view my damaged kitchen drawer and pick them up to the fitters returning the repaired said drawer
The repair is first class and the re spray is of excellent quality

So after our son flooded the bathroom and water leaked into kitchen and sons bedroom.. we were impressed with how quick heightvale removed all the damaged things… we had to move out… fast forward 3 months, we are still in an Air BnB and not even a start date for them to restore our bathroom kitchen… All we want is them now is sort the bathroom out so we can move home and get the work completed ourselves..

Like other reviewers I would advise other customers and insurance companies to avoid using Heightvale for removal work.
1. Through their conduct they extended the length of the repair work (removal of sewage) by 4 months. My elderly sister had to leave her home for an extra 4 months because of their negligence or incompetence. Depending on who you believe this was because they had damaged all the carpets when in storage or had thrown away perfectly good carpets because they had no carpet layer when they arrived from Bolton. Either way they hid the evidence by not allowing my sister to see the 'damaged' carpets or taking photos of the carpets. After an 8 month wait for the actual work to be done (by other companies) they were responsible for a further 4 months of hell for my sister. Because they destroyed the evidence the re-carpeting took longer because they had even destroyed the samples too. If their storage facilities were to blame this is even worse negligence and affects all potential customers.
2. Valuable and sentimental items were smashed to pieces because they were improperly packed. Photos available. The insurance company has paid for the cost of replacement but the sentimental valuables were lost forever.
3. Incredibly initially a Heightvale manager CM wrote to my sister blaming her for damaging the carpets herself. Despite my complaining to the CEO there has been no Heightvale apology or retraction. Imagine being blamed by the company who forced her to live away from home without all her possessions. The company 'admitted' their dishonesty by giving a different reason of damaged carpets by mould and damp while in their storage. CM lied presumably to cover up their malconduct.
It is important that anyone reading this never uses Heightvale for removal work. If this company is nominated by an insurance company please do not allow them to be given the responsibility. It is interesting to see similar parallel complaints by other reviewers.

My experience with Heightvale has been brilliant from start to finish. Where there has been any slight issues or tricky work, all the staff that attended my property were really skilled to overcome any obstacles and dealt with problems quickly.

Works were completed within the schedule given to me at the start and the quality of the work is brilliant.

I would like to thank everyone at Heightvale for the amazing service while reconstructing the majority of our bathroom following a water leak in to the joists and would recommend them to anyone looking for a professional building and contents repair service.

Our experience of Heightvale (for leak restoration via insurance) was very good - all the team were reliable, professional and did a good job to put our house back together - including plastering, painting, plumbing, flooring and re-fits.

complete and utter waste of time, no idea what they are doing and looking at, inexperienced timewasters, do not use this company, they dont do what they say they will do, leave you hanging on for months on end, with no results, never again should be called shitevale!!

Removed my furniture for storage , when returned few items were damaged , contacted several times about damaged items no return calls although said they would , denying that the goods were damaged by them , considering they took photos of the removed items I’m shocked and the written paper work shows that the items were not when took away , will he raking it further

Unfortunately Heightvale you do not even deserve 1 star but that is what I have had to give to write this review to warn people DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. They were sent from the insurance company to fix my daughters roof following storm damage. They removed some slates then took a photo of the roof with the slates removed then put a piece of felt there, took another photo as this was their so called bodged cowboy repair then took the slates with them making out to my insurance company that the reason for the rain coming in through the roof was down to there being no slates on. Well Heightvale thank goodness for Google earth that clearly shows the slates were on the roof before you arrived. I can't write what I really wany to say about your cowboy company who have caused my daughter so much grief, you do not deserve to be in business, you are an absolute disgrace.

I was very pleased with work done and completed after major water leakage damages. I found the workmen courteous, considerate. I was able to communicate my concerns which were handled promptly on site and through office staff. It was a minimal stress experience. The work is well done, which moved me- a great relief indeed. Thank you all.

Had these guys out to plumb in a toilet after they had installed new flooring following an escape of water claim in a bathroom. During installation/plumbing in of the new toilet, they managed to empty the entire cistern of water on to the bathroom floor, such that it sent water flooding across the bathroom, and under the newly laid vinyl flooring they had put in a few days prior.

Phoned the office to discuss this with them. Manager seemed very disinterested, promised to call me back numerous times and never did. Complete and utter let-down.

This is an absolutely unprofessional company, that are happy to make a mess in your home, and cause damage, not apologise for it, and let you get on with sorting it out.

100% avoid this company. I would not recommend anyone give them any business. Find a more reputable company to trust your home with.

The company can improve by finishing a bathroom they started 5 months ago.

They can improve by not waiting outside a house for 3 minutes, not ringing the doorbell or calling and then saying they tried to access the property.

They can improve by having half decent customer service towards a widow who lives on her own and had her ceiling collapse after a leak.

I’d like this company to finish the work they agreed on for my mother but I wouldn’t trust them at all, and I wouldn’t expect anyone else to.

Brilliant experience from start to finish. After a flood, they sent a team in to limit the damage and then set up dryers. Property was checked until dry and the reigns were handed over to the next team.

People are quick to leave negative reviews but less quick to leave positive ones - my experience was outstanding. Thanks Heightvale

This company was assigned to do the building work by my insurers after a house fire. Do not use this company find your own. They was never on site. Took them 4 weeks to put 5 new joists in the kitchen. They’ve been back out since completion numerous times to leaks in the kitchen. Patching them up all the time. Now they refuse to repair the ongoing problem even though it’s given a 10 year warranty. When you call the office they say they’ll call you back but never do. If you do use this company which I recommend you don’t. Get everything in writing cause the builders will soon turn there backs on you and claim it’s not there fault.

Twice representives from this company have visited my property to quote for clean up and repairs. On both occasions promises of reports will be completed same day and sent to insurance company. On both occasions I have had to chase reports. Four weeks since a fire at my property and no work has started to restore my property. Still don't have any quotes submitted. My insurance company are saying we have to go through this company. If this is how slow they are for quotes I've got no confidence in them completing the repairs in a timely manner.

This company was assigned by our insurer to repair roof damage. 9 months after the claim was approved the repairs were still not done. Several times their roofers did not attend scheduled appointments to attend, often with no contact and occasionally with "short notice hospital appointment" reasons given. Eventually went back to our insurer who agreed to let us find our own roofer for the repair - which, with hindsight, we should have done from the outset.

I first asked Heightvale for help as i thought i had a leaking pipe under my living room .... turned out my dampcourse needed to be sorted as it had failed....what an amazing job they did....i was so happy 2 month ago i got them back to fit me a whole new kitchen & new boiler....again what a fantastic job.....i recently suffered ( february ) storm damage to my chimney causing internal damage so of course a rang Heightvale....yet again they have come through for me & done an outstanding job....which is more than i can say for my insurance company who have been dreadful to deal with....Thank you Heightvale i feel like i am living in a new house...highly recommend to anyone !! 👍👍👍

Raygan was amazing, she liaised with me every day, the quality of work and the reliability of turning up when they said so, communication at every level was superb.
Ours was an insurance claim involving three parties but Heightvale were fantastic. Cannot fault them and would highly recommend this company and their work.
