This has been a really great experience right from the start. The team has been super helpful, friendly, and personable. During the purchase process the representative was wonderful to deal with and went out of his way to work with my tricky schedule, which was incredibly appreciated. I have since been dealing with a customer service representative who has also been extremely helpful in answering my questions and checking in to let me know she is around and available if I need anything.
The machine it self is amazing. It’s beautiful, very user friendly, with helpful how to videos that helped me get setup and it has been very reliable out in the field as well. I use it at markets all over the place where I’m inside and outside with no promise of wifi connection, so, having something easy to use that would be reliable in all sorts of scenarios was a must, and this machine delivers! All in all an awesome experience that I would do again in a heartbeat.

Besides the ultra-low and transparent merchant processing fees, I have found Helcim's setup and customer service to be excellent. I have experience with another company which I could not get a person live on the phone at all. Helcim has useful videos, I got call backs from a real person with about 10 minutes the three times I needed them, and I had a very useful setup call.

I found Helcim to be great for sending invoices and payment links. I also got an onboarding call where they help me setup everything which is great.
However my account randomly got shut down, right after I processed a $45 USD payment.
Im very lucky it was only $45 because if it was $1000-$3000 invoice like I usually do, they'd have froze me out and kept that money like PayPal does.
also sucks having to look for a new payment processor as Square in Canada doesnt allow USD, and Stripe is even worse with random bans.
For that reason Im giving a One Star

Had my event this weekend. It had a little learning curve but I quickly figured it out. Didn't have to worry about screen burn in because it turns itself off after minutes of disuse, also answers prolonging the battery life. 10/10 Can't wait to use again!

30 minutes after applying, I received an email saying my application was declined. I sent in ALL my paperwork and not one reason at all was given as to why I would be declined. Did you even look at my paperwork that YOU DID NOT EVEN ASK FOR??? I have been using Square for the past 15 years. I guess I will stay with a company that appreciates loyal and good customers.
