Be wary with these crooks..draw you in…

Be wary with these crooks..draw you in with a fair price early on..then just before your renewal date they ask for more money for no reason. They find a small technicality which they already knew about as a reason for the increase in price. Ridiculous.

My quote was extremely extortionate

My quote came in at an extortionate price because I had an ongoing claim with Prima. After contacting Prima a lovely lady (Jemma) sorted out a complete new quote & saved me 58% on original quote. Jemma was very professional,patient & bubbly. Lovely service.

Great Policy

Pleasant surprise from getting a quote via MSE the transfer to Prima Plus site went like a dream and the best bit the inclusions on this policy couldn't be beaten on price by anybody.
Roll on when you can get a quote through your own website with hopefully an even better price.

DISHONEST COMPANY - BUYER BEWARE!

I have car insurance with this company.
Earlier this year I was stationary in my car when another car drove into the back of me.
Third party insurer accepted full liability.
No fault accident, and no claim made against Prima.
My insurance cost last year was £385
My renewal quotation received today £1535!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have raise a formal complaint with Prima.
Joel in Customer Fulfilment acknowledged my complaint, but advised that was the best cost option they were quoted themselves.
THEY LIED.
I have just been on to a cost comparison website and received several quotations between £380 and £420.
This company is an absolute disgrace, and has no shame.
Use them at your peril.
They are not to be trusted.

The customer services gentleman was…

The customer services gentleman was amazing, very polite helpful understanding and new what the reason was regarding our issue and sorted it out straight away with no issues

Be sure to check your documents.

Declared all required info at the quote stage via confused.com but wasn’t on the documents when I received them from Prima. Could’ve voided the cover. Asked prima to amend but they wanted another £100 to do so. I cancelled the policy before it even started which cost me £30. Contacted Prima and confused but neither could help. Both said I hadn’t declared the info which just isn’t true. Once you click the link to take you from confused to Prima, there is no opportunity from then on to ensure the details are still correct until you’ve paid. I then had no choice but to either pay to amend, cancel, or risk being uninsured. Not good at all good job I checked the documents. Don’t know who was at fault hence the neutral review for something I didn’t use and no longer have.
