I got this service

I got this service, because my friend recommended, but when I play any series, it gets stuck and says file missing file. I keep calling their line, they keep saying checking, but doesn't work, I just got two weeks back, no good experience at all. Don't waste money.

Worst online buying experience

Worst online buying experience ever in my 12 years in NL. I ordered a product in stock on a Monday and cancelled the it on the Sunday after multiple lies.

Pros: they response to emails and chats promptly.
Bads: the rest.

My journal with this company:
- On a Monday at lunch time, I order a Denon receiver. It was mark in stock and “Voor 21:00 besteld, morgen in huis”.
- I received an email a few minutes later double checking whether my card was OK. I had used a Spanish VISA card for this. I explained that was perfectly fine. They replied that the product would be delivered by the end of the week in that email.
- I reached out to them via chat. I told them that why by the end of the week when the product shows in stock, and they told me that the very last item had just left the facilities and that the webpage needed to be updated.
- On Tuesday the product was still marked as in stock. I reached out to them via chat and they told me that I would receive the product by the end of the week.
- On Thursday, same-same. They told me they would receive the product on Friday and it would be immediately sent to me.
- On Friday I asked them for the track and trace. They switched to Dutch in their answers (probably annoyed because I was asking too often for the product I had already paid). They told me I would receive a tracking number.
- On Saturday, no product and no tracking number. I asked what happened and they told me that they received the product after 21 hours, when they ship them. They told me I would receive the tracking in no time.
- On Sunday, no tracking number. I asked what happened and they told me they hadn’t received the product yet, but it would be with them in no time. I to cancel the ordered. They offered me a 25 euro discount in my next purchase, and I rejected that. They offered me a 25 euro discount, and I rejected that. They told me I would receive my money back in a few days.
- On Tuesday they offered me a used version of the receiver, with some damages. By then I already had at home the same receiver, ordered in another webshop. They hadn’t issued the refund of my money yet.

incredibly fast and easy

I came across an excellent offer on a Philips TV, and I even received a personalized promotion. Within a few hours, all the necessary info arrived in the mail. Maria from chat support was incredibly helpful in providing the details, and this all happened during a holiday. Upon delivery, the delivery person took away my old TV, and the process was complete. The communication was exceptionally clear, and everything went perfectly.

I was able to make a great deal with…

I was able to make a great deal with them through their Live Chat in just about 20 minutes. Jari was really helpful in guiding me to choose the best TV for my needs. They’re providing excellent service, and it definitely deserves a 5-star rating.

I had a pleasant and smooth experience…

I had a pleasant and smooth experience with Ivo from HelloTV. Communication was clear and I was informed thoroughly. Ivo provided me with all the details necessary for my purchase and threw in many extra details regarding my delivery preferences. Thank you for the wonderful offer as well. Within 5 mins I received my discount and I am happy with my purchase.

Great communication and help from Ivo

There were some issues during communication with hellotv as we misunderstood each other. I wanted a product to buy but when they reached me out the sales promotion was over. So Ivo helped me to handle the situation and get me the purchase link for the given product with the promised price.

Just closed a deal

Just closed a deal, bought a new television: Samsung Neo QLED 8K 75QN900F (2025), and I have to say, the buying experience went very well. It was via chat and spoke to a representative "Jari". He was very helpful and quick in supporting with right options and closing the deal. I would highly recommend this store, purely based on the buying experience.

Unreliable customer service

Customer service are very nice and helpful, thank you Maria.

Update: After providing all the details of the defect and agreeing with Maria on a replacement, I received an email stating that the exchange couldn't be processed because it wasn't reported within 48 hours. However, I had clearly mentioned during the chat that I attempted to contact customer service immediately after receiving the package, but no one was available, and the website redirected me to fill out a form. That happened within minutes of the delivery.

Update 2: problem resolved but not without some hassle.

Fine TV shop, but come prepared

Very friendly people. Offered coffee and spent ample time to check out the brand we were after. We specifically went for Philips, because we definitely wanted the Ambilight option.

We did need an expedited delivery - within three days - and installation, because it would be a present for my spouse.

Mr Masie made a few phone calls and it was arranged. And indeed, that Thursday, the TV would be installed and mounted.

Brilliantly done. Mr Onno was very knowledgeable and very pleasant to talk with. High quality professional.

All good, however:

I’d like to caution potential buyers that the salesperson, Mr Masie, was constantly upselling extras, like VERY expensive HDMI cables (80 euros for a cable you don’t need for 4k), pixel insurances, cleaning stuff, etc.

Prices seem to be quite flexible, because after already taking an extra three years of pixel insurance, we declined 5 years insurance, the price went down and he kept on offering the more expensive one.

Good advice: go there with your own plan and if you think you do want a, like, three years warranty on pixels, don’t let them talk you into the five years.

And if you do need an HDMI cable, go to CoolBlue, or Mediamarkt. Save some money.
