Despicable company
This company is truly scamming people. Bought some boss shoes that I wanted to return. Got the return details and sent the item back via evri. Waited and waited for the refund and finally emailed them. They told me it was still being processed. Waited another week and nothing so contacted them again today. Apparently the £200 shoes were not in the box when they arrived back so are not giving me my refund. As if you wouldn’t put the shoes in the box??? They have now completely refused to even look into saying that I’ve kept the shoes and I’m trying to get a refund. Absolutely ridiculous. I’ll be getting my money back in my local store but for anyone out there please do not under any circumstances order from this despicable company.
Returns
So I ordered 4 new items. Two were good and I sent to back two items. I later found that one item was through Fraser site but was with get the label so had to send two separate parcels back at twice the return cost. I am still yet to receive both refunds and the customer service (if you can get hold of them) is shocking, I am being sent around in circles and not getting anywhere. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING THROUGH HOUSE OF FRASER is my tip.
Dodgy Dave’s Store - keep away.
Some time back I wrote about avoiding this store in Nottingham. They refused to give a cash refund and will only offer a credit note. It was disgusting. They forced you to spend your money in the store even when there is nothing there for you
Now this dodgy store is thankfully closing. I have noticed as I often walk by that it’s often empty of customers.
Be careful they could be using the ruse of closure only to entice customers in to the store so you spend your money but they may have no intention of closing down. They have done something similar before.
I paid for express delivery
I paid for express delivery, yet again for a second time DPD have not delivered in the . I have opened a case with House of Frasers for a delivery charge refund .
Pathetic customer service
Bad experience with this pathetic company, they send clothes with bird poo on it ( dont know where they store it), send a replacement with a fake voucher that dont work and misinformation , contacted customer service and found it to be really unprofessional , dealt with 5 different people and everyone had different own explanantion, they explain company policies which they mention can be changed anytime ( I believe according to customer and their order)
Overall will not shop with them again.
£4.99 return fee
Be aware that it costs £4.99 to return items on top of £4.99 delivery.
I won't be shopping here again.
Total scam company
Total scam company. I wish there is no star rating. I bought a shoe from them which was not my size, returned the shoe and it got missing. Courier company said I should talk to them for a refund. I spoke to them and I was told to send proof of sending back the item which I did and I never heard back from them.
I don't even want to give that single…
I don't even want to give that single star!
We bought two pairs of denim pants online, but neither was suitable. Immediately returned them with an explanation, but only to get a reckless reply from the House of Frasers saying that "the black dress" was past 28 days, so it could not be returnable. This so-called black dress must be someone else's order, so we replied to them with the obvious. House of Fraser did not bother to check, and they even sent us a small packet ( obviously not a size that should contain two denim pants!
Not a responsible lot! Disgusting!
Scammer
Unfortunately, I can't leave zero stars. I ordered a pair of boots and a hoodie. The boots arrived in an empty box along with a bottle of water, while the hoodie was too large. I sent the hoodie back to exchange it for a smaller size, and in the meantime, I filed a complaint regarding the missing boots. Once they received the returned hoodie, they refused to refund it, claiming that I had used it, and they would send it back to me. As for the missing boots, they said it was not their responsibility and advised me to contact third parties to recover my loss. After two months, I am still waiting to receive the hoodie back. House of Fraser is a scammer—please be aware!
I purchased two items last week one was…
I purchased two items last week one was a pair of farah chuka boots men’s size 9 I normally take size size 8 but as I have had problems with buying clothing and shoes from Frasers I e the sizes not being right so the boots arrived size 9 but I could just about get my foot in them even though I ordered one size up so again it was a wrong size to what is marked on the boots not the first time, I had to return them at my own expense, the other item was a three pack of men’s boss briefs I did not notice straight away but went to have a look at them after I came back from the post office after returning the boots so as went to open the box I noticed that it had already been opened and a pair had been taken out and looked as someone had worn them as there were a few hairs in them and stuffed back in the box and were not folded like the other two pairs I was absolutely disgusted and was so angry I just put them in the bin as I had already spent £4.99 on the return of the boots and also did not want to return them so that Frasers could not sell these disgusting worn pair with pubic hair in them to another customer , i will definitely not be shopping with this disgusting shop again!
I’m so pissed rn
I’m so pissed rn, I bought a diesel bag but the bag that was sent has scratches. There’s no way that bag is new. This is totally wrong!!!!!!!!
And I have to pay to return it.
I thought that the original Valentino…
I thought that the original Valentino was sold here, but they sent me a hack job. The logo is so crookedly pasted that it's embarrassing to go out.
Appalling company! Complete scam.
bought some items through the House of Frasers website. Stupidly, I assumed they were like virtually all other companies and offered a streamlined returns process. No. You have to pay the return postage costs. It’s not even a set price. You pay per package size and weight. You also can't return online purchases to a shop. But that's only the half of it. They don’t deal with returns to their ‘partner brands’. They have a list of the brands with virtually no useful info. The brand I wanted to return to just states an address and to send the parcel tracked delivery. I contacted House of Frasers to ask how I include a returns slip. That was only by the chat. Their phone lines don't work. I was told I needed to speak to 'an expert'. I asked how I do that and the next reply was 'your chat is now closed'. Now their chat is always busy. You are told to wait for an advisor. Then told that you can only wait 5 minutes and the chat will automatically be closed and you have to start the chat again. I have never experienced such appalling customer service. So I have no option to post my £60 item with a hand written note, stating who I am, my order number etc and hope that I get a refund. I also plan to contact Trading Standards and complain. Of course there isn't an Complaints option for House of Fraser. The company used to be well respected. Now it's been bought by Sports Direct and it is a total scam. Avoid at all costs!
I feel like being fooled
I feel like being fooled. In the shop items placed as a sale item, but there is no discount. The item was not misplaced as there were more items without discount, the cashier was informed but even did not bother to check it. Very disappointed.
Absolutely disgusted!
Absolutely disgusted with the House Of Fraser Plymouth! I've been a customer for many years and spent an awful lot of money in this store.
My experience follows... I purchased a expensive t-shirt without trying it on in store and took it home only to find its the wrong size. The next day I went back to the Plymouth store and explained to the lady behind the till that unfortunately the t-shirt was not suitable and asked for a refund. She was absolutely rude and abrupt towards me and refused to give me a refund stating it is against store policy! She offered a credit note which I did not want. She was adamant that no refund will be given!
I asked for her name and she said she was called Tina. I said that I am not happy with not being able to get a refund and would take it further. She really couldn't care less and again was very rude and said do what you like! Horrible experience! I wish I had never purchased the designer t-shirt the day before.
I have never come across a store or company that wouldn't refund the customer. Even Tesco's refund their customers if they returned goods they are not happy with so why can't the House Of Fraser? It seems all they are interested in is getting hold of your money and not returning it - almost as if the company is on the brink of collapse!
I returned again this time with a colleague because he couldn't believe that they wouldn't give a refund. This time we spoke to Colin a manager (He was polite and professional) Colin explained the situation about the store policy and it was non negotiable and no refund will be offered. He said as line manager he will look into the way Tina treated me in the morning when I first went in for the refund - but not holding my breath that anything will be done!
The whole experience here was probably the worst I've ever experienced in trying to return an item which was not suitable for a refund!
They've certainly lost my custom and my family's custom too... I will not be recommending the House Of Fraser to anyone...
I wonder just how many customers are aware of their returns policy?
There's a small notice on the entrance door on the lower left hand side which is difficult to read as you enter the building. Also pointed out to me by the very rude Tina there's a small notice on the till desk which is easily covered over!
All in all this is a company to avoid! I've personally never had an issue with any other company or store in the past regarding a refund......
DONT BUY Did not deliver items and not refunding me either
Really poor company don’t care about the customer customer service was so poor took ages to reply and when they think they can’t help they stop responding and close the claim
Someone called Fariza was poor on email communication and was not helpful at all not refunding my item that I did not even receive and just shut down the claim will not use this rubbish company again don’t buy
This company is such a scam
This company is such a scam! DO NOT BUY ONLINE! They make it absolutely impossible to return. They don’t give you an order number and then they have no way of messaging customer service to get your order number. I’ve wait over a month and there has been no communication or update to their website about a “technical glitch” being the reason I don’t have an order number. I bought some very expensive stuff that doesn’t fit that I just wanted to exchange in size and I can’t even do that!
No Item and No Refund. Abysmal Service.
Have been waiting twenty-nine days and still no item or refund. Absolutely abysmal service. All I get is automated emails saying they have received my reminder. That's it? How about they sort this mess out; that would be a good start. Never again. This is the second time they have let me down, but it won't happen again.
Should review postal charges
I’ve been ordering lately from here but find the price of postage to send the order is somewhat ok, but pricey. Then the fact you have to pay £4.99 to return items, I’m not going to be using this company anymore as there are so many other options that don’t charge you to return. It’s cost me almost £26 in 2 orders for sending and returning!
Would give no stars if I could
Would give no stars if I could, dreadful company.
Ordered a desk, it didn’t turn up, called customer service after being kept on hold for such a long time. They claimed they lost it on the warehouse if they could find it they would send on or refund. Not happened and no contact from customer service after being. Advice - avoid don’t use, why would you want to buy from a company who don’t supply the goods paid for and don’t issue a refund. Trading standards will be notified
