Since 1989, we have been providing compassionate, person-centred care at home to individuals across the UK. Our journey started in a small house in Warwickshire, and today, we have over 150 branches across the country. This growth has allowed us to extend our exceptional care and make a bigger difference while allowing our customers to remain in the place they love. Our carers are kind and compassionate individuals who always go the extra mile. They are fully trained to provide the highest level of care, no matter what condition you are living with. We are also recognised for delivering specialist dementia care, a service we have enhanced through our partnership with the Alzheimer’s Society. This has allowed us to provide our carers with dementia training to help support our customers living with different types of dementia. Our service is fully regulated and monitored by the Care Quality Commission and Care Inspectorate Wales. We are proud to have received an overall rating of GOOD, and the CIW reported that our carers go “above and beyond, doing things that are ‘not on the list’.

It is such a challenge for an elderly loved one to accept they need a; literally 'helping hand'
Realising they need more than what you can give them anymore is such a tricky position to be in. Me personally i felt sick with guilt that i was betraying my MIL,questioning her trust in me,fearing she would dislike me whilst searching for who is out there/ who could help me. Months of Batteling Adult social care & age concern, doctors not pointing you in the right direction.. i can honesly say that Courtney from Helping hands soothed all concerns & eased any stress.Answerd all questions (and i had loads of them!) Was understanding, compasionate, never once felt rushed off the phone or uncomfortbale, comunication was calss A. Courtney thourghly explained what the company provides, conciders, appriciates .. cant express enough of how relaxed i am about going ahead with potential care for my MIL with Helping hands

The agent I spoke to was really helpful and kind. Makes me have confidence to use this company for my friend.

Great to speak to a real person who could answer all our questions on the spot and who totally understood our concerns . We came off the phone feeling very confident we had made a good and right call for our parents .

From first meeting the staff at Helping Hands they put me at my ease, listening and understanding the care I needed for my parents. It's early days but I feel totally confident in the care they are giving and already feel more relaxed in my mind.

Whilst I am only at the enquiry stage, having had one phone call and booked our initial consultation, my first impression is totally enthusing.
Louise Gossage took my call and the depth of detail discussed, the personal needs/options, and the unrushed and empathetic and understanding, well I’m so appreciative of such a wonderful person.
If the follow up matches my first impressions, then we’re on to an amazing solution to current needs.
Thank you and fingers crossed!

All the staff are helpful and reliable. My carer buys and cook the food that I like. And altogether I feel comfortable.

Heather at Lutterworth branch is excellent. Keeping me informed and being understanding. Also Gwen and all the other ladies are very kind and having them call on mum gives me peace of mind.

Comprehensive and professional.
Finding care for loved ones is huge so gathering as much information as we can has been very important in making our final decision.

We just started using their service, and unfortunately, it has been very disappointing.
The carriers are consistently arriving late and, when they do, they never stay longer to make up for the time lost. We agree on a specific times, but the carrier will often change the time without notifying us.
When you try to contact the company, you have to call a number that doesn’t even appear to be a Goldmine-branded number, and the people answering are unable to provide any real help or solutions.
For the amount of money they charge, we expected a much higher level of service, reliability, and communication. So far, the service has been far below our expectations.

I would highly recommend Helping Hands. They take care of two of my loved ones, my mum and my partner. They are very flexible with their timings and needs. All are really nice and trustworthy carers.

If I could have given a 10 I would have. I spoke to a lovely lady called Sarah Singleton and she explained all the costs and packages so well. She was so helpful. Excellent service

Friendly people who have experience of situations in their own life which relate to the care they provide. Good company for my father to talk to after the loss of his wife. This has helped us to keep dad happier in his own home.

Helping Hands was recommended to me by a friend. I called and got through to Lisa, who is exceptional! The initial conversation was very informative and easy to set up an assessment at home. We are still exploring options with other care providers but given the first impressions of Helping Hands, this will likely be our choice.
