A caring and professional organisation.
I have used this company for over five months now. In general I have been very satisfied with the service and staff. Now that I have regular carers it work's very well. They come in and know exactly where everything is and what is required of me. This enables the carers to get everything done in the time allocated. I would certainly recommend Helping Hands to anyone who needs care.

Efficient & Helpful
Niamh was very efficient & helpful in answering my questions & arranging an initial home assessment. However, the assessment was cancelled as Helping Hands called on the day of the assessment to say they had no capacity in Fleet for new customers - it would have been nice to have known that at that time so we could have looked elsewhere earlier!!

As a first point of contact Lisa not only provided all the information we needed to make a decision but was also warm and understanding about my mums needs. I felt reassured that mum will be in good hands. Hopefully the assessment will mirror this. Admin side of things efficient, clear and quick so care can be in place at short notice.

Fantastic Company.
When my wife passed away. I was at a loss on how I would survive on my own. Particularly as I have a number of infermities and was becoming bed bound due to my disabilities. I was then recommended to seek out a care company, I chose to hire Helping Hands. They have proved to be such a support to me, enabling me to cope with daily life whilst assisting me with cooking, laundry and many other aspects of daily living. The staff are excellent, particularly Gemma who goes the extra mile to ensure my care needs are met. Also symmone and Yasmin are very efficient in responding to my phone calls and are more than willing to help allocate me extra visits. If anyone else finds themselves in similar circumstances to me I have no hesitation in recommending Helping Hands to come to there assistance. Thank you for everything ladies, I would be at a loss without your support. You are are very appreciated.

If you can get past shocking admin you may be pleased
We had original visit - one hour late with no contact to advise of delay, which we let slide. Information taken then silence. Nothing. Chased and explained we were unhappy with the service seen so far but was assured this was no reflection of the care on offer. Due to the urgency of carers required we gave them another chance and Alex kindly hand delivered a direct debit mandate which was completed and then taken away the same day. Waited a couple of weeks...
Then Nothing...silence again....Chased and was promised a call back. Its been 3 weeks now and we have decided we cant put our trust in the reliability for care so have had to go elsewhere. Very disappointing as this was meant to relieve stress on my dad who is struggling, but the whole process has just made things worse.

Incosistant staffing and poor customer service
Customer service is very poor
I have used this company for the last 3 months
They are not consistant with staffing and when sending new carers in dont provide them with the information on how to meet my dads needs
They have just pulled my dads main carer with 3 days notice and have not put in place a transition plan this is due to an internal promotion so could have put in place a plan to help dad
My dad has high anxiety and mental health
When I have complained about the inconsistent staffing instead of taking it seriously they didnt put the phone down and I overheard them discussing me disrespectfully
I used this company as used them in Bury and Oxford and had always had a good service

Helping Hands have been superb in…
Helping Hands have been superb in rising to the challenge of looking after our Mum in the way we all want. The carers have been excellent in how they respond to our and our Mum's requirements and the office team has invariably worked well to provide the flexibility of carer solutions when we've needed it. We now have a great team of carers around Mum and the most regular ones completely understand her routines and little nuances that keep her anxiety at bay. We couldn't do without them. 😇😇😇
