My experience with HeMed has been extremely disappointing from start to finish. The communication was unclear, the instructions were contradictory, and the support team failed to provide basic guidance at crucial moments. Despite following every step I was given, my blood sample was not processed, and I was later told I would need to repeat the entire procedure, without any acknowledgement of their own operational failures.
To make matters worse, HeMed deleted my account without my request, leaving me unable to cancel the subscription or request a refund through the app. Their customer service repeatedly shifted responsibility back onto me, even though the delays and lack of information were entirely on their side.
HeMed refused to issue a full refund, claiming that “services were delivered,” even though the actual test was never completed and the process was mishandled at multiple stages.
Overall, this has been an unprofessional, frustrating, and poorly managed experience. I cannot recommend HeMed and would advise others to be cautious before using their services.

Beware the tie-in periods in their subscriptions.
This isn't an online pharmacy, this is a company looking to sell you a subscription to something, with small print and 21-day cancellation periods, because once they have your credit card they just go on charging you.
Their prices changes are sometimes surprising, and invariably opaque. Good introductory offers, then the prices rise... When I tried to cancel on price grounds they offered me a year-long tie in, at a £60 a month increase on what I'd already paid.
Customer service is prompt, because they want to sell you stuff. And the app is good to be fair, it's just the deal and the tie-ins let it down.

A lot of hoops to jump through to get the medication. You are not told about any of this until after they take payment. I tried to cancel and was told they were prepared to give me £20 back. I took the first dose since I was paying for it and said that was it and did not wish to continue. They took the next payment anyway as apparently I have to cancel through the app which I deleted. Cancelling through the app isn't easy as I've just done it and apparently even that has to be reviewed and approved so I still don't know if they're going to be dipping in to my bank account again.

Ok, I had written another review which was removed. I have just concluded my business with HeMed but their cancellation of my so called 'plan' came after weeks of one sided complaints from me. Culminating when I reported them to the 'Report Fraud' police website. What happened to me? I found their website after looking for Wegovy. I purchased one month injection pen using my credit card. At first everything seemed ok and I lost a bit of weight. At the end of the first month they asked me via email and the app to 'Check-in' which I did. I then ordered a second month pen, and proceeded to lose an awful lot of weight taking me down almost to my target weight. At the end of month two, the asked me to check-in again and I ignored it. Without my approval they proceeded to send me a third pen containing the same dose as month two. When I contacted them to complain they told me that I had signed up for a 6 month contract and that there was no way out unless I paid them a large cancellation fee. They did the same thing in month 4, completely against my wishes. At no time during the first purchase did I see anything at all saying I'd committed to 6 months, but later found out that by ticking a tiny 'I agree to terms and conditions' check box at the initial checkout, I was entering into a contract. I won't go into further details but will end the review by saying they eventually cancelled the so called contract after I reported them not only to the police, but also the General Pharmaceutical Council. I have recieved a refund from my credit card company and HeMed are now trying to appeal that, but after sending my card company all the evidence I am confident they will not get the money they took from me by dubious hidden terms and conditions. So beware, they appear to be a great chemist from their website, but just know exactly what you are getting into by buying one dose before you spend money.

Went through options , chose 6 month plan at £64 a month, when refill date was coming up 3 weeks later the price went to £139 a month .. I phoned to say that I agreed to £64 monthly not £139.. back and forth was messages , I asked to cancel as wasn’t clear pricing and what’s the complaints procedure and who was the governing body… Didn’t get any of the information back that I asked, was just told they won’t cancel until I paid a £40 cancellation fee… I have advised not to send refill and have again asked to make a formal complaint…was a nightmare getting all started took weeks before I received meds and then price was over doubled, would not use.. I am now waiting to see if I get the information I have requested , hopefully asap then I shall cancel and transfer to another supplier.. pricing not clear so be careful, my experience has not been a good one, will avoid

Great service and fantastic support. It works.

Awful! They accept you onto their programme, then put lots of obstacles in the way so don't actually help you at all, even though they have taken your money! Customer service is a joke. Terrible company that just tell lots of lies. Avoid them!

Excellent service with great support and advice. Having now been on Wegovy for 12 weeks I have lost a total of 10kgs. Weekly checkins, weight records and symptom trackers made the process straightforward and simple. Advice and support available on line or via the clinicians. Reordering is automatic with simple decision making about dose increases. Allows you to concentrate on weight loss and goals whilst supporting you where necessary.

My Mounjaro delivery was delayed because Royal Mail retained the parcel for an extra day during extreme heat. It arrived with the ice pack fully melted and the pen warm. HeMed later told me the package should have contained extra ice packs for those conditions, but it did not.
Lilly states unused Mounjaro should be stored at 2–8°C and told me directly that, because the maximum temperature and time outside that range were unknown, they could not assess the pen or recommend using it.
HeMed still refused to replace or refund the £255 pen. I was told that because the liquid was clear it should be fine, and to try the first injection and see how I felt.
After refusing to use medication the manufacturer would not recommend, I asked to leave my 12-month agreement and was told I would have to pay a cancellation fee.
Communication has also been extremely poor. They repeatedly say they cannot see replies sent to their own support email, making it difficult to provide evidence or progress a complaint.
The whole experience has left me with serious concerns about communication, patient safety and the quality of clinical advice being given without evidence that the medication remained within the manufacturer’s storage guidance.
Update: After escalating the matter formally and raising my consumer rights, a senior member of the team contacted me and resolved the issue within minutes, issuing a full refund and cancelling my 12-month subscription without charge. I’m pleased it was finally resolved, but disappointed it took this level of escalation after several days of being told no alternative was available.

Fantastic company never any issues lots of support when need. Just a shame the prices are so high now I’ve had to stop 😭

Absolutely diabolical. There is NO indication that by ordering a first dose you are signing up for months of treatment. I'm told there are 30+ pages of small print to read, but at the time of asking for one dose of Wegovy there was no prompt from them about terms and conditions, where to find it, or how to access it. They are now helping themselves to my money and sending me the lowest dose, and despite dozens of requests for them to stop they just ignore me. I cannot get through to them on the phone as it is never answered and had to ask my bank to stop them taking money. My bank has now told me they are putting a block on them trying to access my account again, but that has yet to be put to the test.
What is really going on with this company?
I now think that they hide terms and conditions, and hide behind consumer law and small print which is not made clear at the outset, to just pickpocket people with little consequence to them.
I urge anyone who is in a similar boat to report them to any and all pharmacy regulators, as judging by the huge amount of negative comments here, they've been getting away with it for a long time.
It is one thing to overcharge for a product, it is entirely another thing to purposely hide relevant information from new customers, and then help themselves to money for months. The line between what is morally fair, or even legal or illegal is very clouded here and as such I would urge anyone who has not yet asked for any medication from this company to think very carefully before submitting any payment details. Sometimes, what you see is not what you get.

Worst company I've ever delt with. Will never use or recommend.
Never told exactly what you need when signing up. Quick to take your money.
Finally agree to all there demands. Then find out your locked into there service and have to jump through so many hoops to get out of it all.
Stay clear

I made the leap into the weight loss programme. When I started it was under the banner Shemed so was a little nervous about joining female focused programme, I needn’t have worried, as right from the outset communication was superb. Shorty after completing the application, I was emailed with clear instructions on what to expect next. The blood test they use was fantastic, it was pain free and very easy to use. Everything you need was within the blood test package again with clear postage instructions. After a reasonable wait, I was emailed with blood test result and acceptance to the programme. Again , shortly after my first prescription arrived. Everything was clearly labeled along with supporting medication. In terms of the injection , there is a lot of information within the app and supporting info pinching administer the injection. Check in is super easy and efficient and competed weekly.
Reordering, the next jab is easy and all done in the app. Easy to track your progress each week and loads of support on the app if needed. You feel supported all the way through the journey and never felt pressure that I had to go up dose. Since joining try added HeMed which is male focused. Shemed/Hemed have exceed my expectations all the way. They are fairly priced ,supportive and communication has been top rate. With their support the programme has changed my life.
Great customer service and monitoring. Quick delivery.
The service did not make the cancellation terms clear at sign up. You have to cancel 3 weeks before you know what dose you will be getting so you don't know what you will be paying, their tiered pricing also make the price really uncompetitive for some doses.
They ship you doses every 4 weeks and you cannot pause this.
All this resulted in me paying a third more than I could from my local pharmacy for medicine that went to waste because I was travelling and could not accept the delivery or refrigerate it.
The complaint handling experience was awful and they attempted to use investigating my complaint as a reason to delay processing my written cancellation instructions. Throughout I felt like the service was designed to maximise profit rather than provide me with a health outcome.
I was able to reclaim this money from my credit card company as the cancellation terms were not sufficiently prominent when I signed up but I would never use HeMed again.
My local pharmacy is significantly cheaper, has given great customer service, has taken better care of my health and does not lock me into a subscription. When I need more, I order what I would like and they assess it's suitability. If I am going away, I can order more or just delay ordering.
Noting the response from HeMed. There is a significant difference between including a line within 30 pages of terms and conditions stating you must give 3 weeks notice to cancel and placing that information prominently on the signup page.

Diabolical customer service. Response times are very poor. Complete disconnect between the messages sent via the app and directly through the website. Cancelling orders takes forever.

Absolute scammers. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS because it will cost you. They double the price of your med AFTER you subscribe . Vile and shocking way to do business. Edited . Same dose so that’s more proof in your answer that you’re dishonest
