I never thought I’d be writing this review while sitting in my new home and it’s all thanks to Gerard. He was very efficient and very very patient, his work ethic is top notch. We had given up hope of ever securing our first home but Gerard made the impossible, possible. He has made our dreams come true and we couldn’t be more thankful. What can I say, Gerard has made all of our dreams come true, we are sat now in our new house and couldn’t be happier, Gerard kept us informed through everything, was super responsive even when on holiday! I came across Henry James Mortgages online back in December 2023 and completed the questionnaire on the evening thinking it will be at least a few days before I got any response... how wrong was I!! Gerard had emailed me back 5 minutes later with every response to what I had sent. Fast forward to January, Gerard had managed to secure our first Mortgage approval. We have now completed and moved into our first ever brought home and this would not be possible without Gerard!! From late night emails keeping us up to date with everything, and even sending our approval over late night - Gerard has been nothing but amazing throughout!! 100% recommend Gerard and Team and have hope for when our mortgage is up for renewal :)

I'm sure this is a great company but when it comes down to finances you wanted someone who you can't trust

I arranged a call with Gerard who promised to give me a call and never did and also never came back to me

This isn't so much of a big deal but when you shuffle your busy schedule around to make time to speak with someone who who as promised to call you it really grinds my gears

I don't think without Gerard I would be completing today. I've been told before I reached out to him that my chances of getting a mortgage are slim and no one really wanted to help me. Since the day I have reached out to him he did everything he could to get me on that property ladder. As a first time buyer I had no clue about anything and he took his time to explain every single detail to me and made sure I am happy with everything before taking further steps. It took a very long time due to a few reasons but he didn't give up and managed to obtain a mortgage offer for me. As mentioned before I am completing today and without him that would be impossible! i was trying to secure a re-mortgage to buy my ex husband out of the property and things were looking bleak.
