Hermes is by far the worst delivery…

Hermes is by far the worst delivery service in Germany. Everyone I ever despatch goods to, begs me NOT to use Hermes. My own experience with Hermes is just as atrocious. They sequentially fail to show up to deliver packages, using the "The recipient was not home at the time of delivery" manifest lie of a pretext, because both times I was stuck home, awaiting delivery, which never came. A single star is a star too many. Avoid whenever possible!

Another day, another excuse for non delivery.

This is the second day that my delivery has been promised, yet not delivered.
Yesterday I was told that I wasn’t at home when they tried to deliver and today I have had the email message informing me that once again I was not at home. On both days I was also informed that a card would have been put through my letter box. Of course there weren’t cards either days, because no attempt had been made to deliver.
On both days I have been at home.
I am at the end of my tether with Hermes. It is insulting to be told that I no one is at home, when you have deliberately ensured that you are there to accept the delivery.
I have wasted two days when I could have been doing something more important than waiting for a non existent delivery.
Do not use this company if you want on time deliveries and if you are a company, think hard about using them as you will be upsetting your customers.
I try very hard not to use companies that have Hermes as their choice of courier.
If I had known that Hermes had been the choice of Charles Thyrwitt, the clothing company, I would not have placed the order. I will not in future.

Hermes is No,1 in incompetence and dishonesty

Hermes is now the most incompetent logistics company on the planet. They have now stolen the crown from GLS! I bought a car sun roof,Yes a car sunroof from a German Ebayer and they managed to loose i!! A sunroofd is VERY BIG. We are not tallking about microchips!

What is astounding is that that this totally incompetent and criminally dishonest organisation is willing to swear that that they have delivered it! It's a learning experience, whenever i buy anything on Ebay now I make sure that it is not shipped with Hermes as it will clearly not arrive, I am still hopeful that the German government authorities will someday find the valley,rapidly turning into a mountain where they have dumped all of th packaes that they have damaged or simply could not be arsed to deliver!

Be smart and abort the transaction if you see the word Hermes! You have been warned!

Have screwed up every single time they…

Have screwed up every single time they have tried to deliver. Problems are:
- Untraceable orders
- No response from customer service
- Parcels waiting for weeks in their warehouse with no updates and no response
- If they are delivered it is completely random and never within the promised window at point-of-sale

Avoid at all cost

Just to make sure, this is a review for Hermes parcel delivery. Avoid at all cost. The prices are low for a reason - deliveries don't turn up more often than they do, most drivers don't manage to deliver on the first attempt and just leave it outside for anyone to pick up that happens to walk past. Customer Service is rubbish - if you even manage to get through. I really wish less companies would choose them and personally unless it's the only option for something I really want, I'll order from a company that uses a better delivery company

I’ m very dissapointed

I’ m very dissapointed!
Long time everything used to be perfect with this company. Saturday I got a message that they delivered my parcel, but I didn’t receive it, even wasn’t any proof of delivered parcel, no photo, no note, nothing!
My parcel just gone !

Lost parcel returned in 6 months

My parcel got lost last august, I called multiple times and emailed and did not get any information. Parcel was returned to original address 6 months later with everything inside broken and opened up, never got a refund nothing. Never using this again!!!

Horrible delivery provider.
Why are companies using Hermes as a distributor?
Packages arrive after allegedly you have not been home ... definitely not at the time communicated in emails or texts (my usual experience is 3 days after „1st attempt“) and then they look like they have been hit by a truck. Do they run them over with their vans?

Enough with HERMES

I have my package in one of their package shop delivered but because my Passport is in process (eventough i already showed them the letter from my embassy), they didnt give me my package. The lady said, i should call HERMES, because she cant help me anymore, and when I called HERMES they also cant help me with this. I AM SUPER CONFUSED. Now I am calling my embassy just to finish my passport faster, which is quite annoying. This thing cost my my time and also patience. Even with proof you guys can't help me? that's a very bad way to serve a customer.

Appalling Customer Service

Hermes have had my parcel since the 30.06.20 - as the company won’t allow you to speak to a human I’ve had to speak and deal with automated services that are useless. It’s very upsetting to someone who suffers from anxiety and depression. I just want to know when my parcel will be delivered. ‘Holly’ is the spawn of the devil. It’s wicked that customers should be treated this way. 8 days now they have held my parcel and simply will not respond or help me. Utterly miserable. This parcel was my little boys birthday present which has now passed. We will put up a you tube video of him saying how sad he is. He’s 5 so it will be sad.

No Parcel

Was expecting a parcel today from Hermes.Had email saying parcel was delivered between 2 and 4pm today.There has NOT been any delivery of my parcel at all.!!!Tried My Hermes webchat and get fobbed off again saying its been delivered when it clearly hasnt.No proof of signature either as it automatically signed apparently due to Covid restrictions.Fed up!!!

I used the Deutsche Bahn Luggage…

I used the Deutsche Bahn Luggage delivery service when moving house, I sent 3 things in total 2 boxes and 1 suitcase. 1 box and 1 suitcase were delivered but one still hasnt come 2 weeks later. They told me my packet was delivered to my neighbour, (untrue my signature is on the slip). You can never speak to the same person twice, I recieved an email a week ago asking me to fill out a loss form and send accompanying docs, this I did, and recieved another email today telling me my packet was delivered to my neighbour! (It wasnt, 2 came directly to me) Then I recieved another email today asking me to fill out the same loss form that I filled out and sent last week. I have been disconnected at least 3 times by extremely rude staff, and will NEVER use Hermes again. If neccessary I will take Legal Action to recover either my goods or the cost of them

Criminally Incompetent

The fact this company hasn’t responded to any feedback in an attempt to resolve any problems speaks volumes. I would advise anyone thinking of using this company to think again, further to that, reject any retailer that uses them. You will definitely lose money. If they fail to deliver and claim the opposite

Ordered champagne and card from moonpig…

Ordered champagne and card from moonpig - the card arrived on the birthday but 3 days after the birthday the champagne hadn't arrived! What's worse Hermes edits the tracking history and removes entries!! I have a screenshot of the tracking and today the entry "please wait 24 hours" is gone.
