Avoid at all Costs!!
A friend and I went to Peter R. Eade for Past Life Regression at Hermitage Hypnotherapy, Glastonbury, lured by his billboard on the way to the Tor. It’s taken me nearly a year to recover enough to issue this warning.
My friend disliked him immediately, and he failed to relax her nevermind hypnotise her, ending her session early (without refund), and putting him in a visibly bad mood.
As to myself, I now know that after a fabulous day of ‘mystical synchronicities’, I was in a highly suggestible state. I also felt awkward for 'Peter Eade, Master Hypnotist' after my friend proved immune to him, so I deliberately let my imagination go. The Past Life Regression session seemed to work. After a while, Eade led me to a violent death scene of ‘mine’ that I was so caught up in that I actually jolted and fell off the therapy couch. It was a real shock. He seemed angry, and abruptly ended the session. As we left he treated us with very bad grace and just wanted us out of his house. For a long time afterwards I suffered nightmares, confusions about reality, and panic attacks.
Finally I went to a hypnotherapist in my own area, who was horrified by the lack of care displayed by Peter Eade. A properly trained & conscientious therapist will always transform a negative vision/encounter like mine into something of benefit to the current life: not drag it up and leave it to fester as Pete Eade did. They also will not lead, especially to a trauma; they should listen and integrate from a caring overview.
To conclude, Peter Eade doesn’t give a **** about his clients, and blatantly sees hypnosis as a parlour trick for gullible tourists. It was a horrible experience, very damaging. I ended up paying five times the amount just to get myself back to normal.
Avoid this charlatan at all costs!!!
