I did SVA 2 (A grade) and SVA 3 (A grade) with Hermods and was afraid of its services due to all scrap-reviews on Trustpilot.
However, I got incredibly good teacher, both inspired and skilled, and got needed technical support, when things went wrong.
Note! Hermods is not a regular school for kids, it is a platform for self-education that requires self-motivation and self-control. No one will stay at your back and push you forward.
Everything you need - there, but you need extreme level of self-esteem to do tasks "in time" and submit it accordingly.
Don't be afraid of Hermods if you know what you are looking for and be ready for time spending on your competence development.

Staffs rude, not clear what they pointed at. Some people can’t understand swedish you know and avoid study English distance here because you never meet the teacher and you have to pay the digital book that always crashed. Good luck

The customer service named Alexandra is not helpful she is discouraging students to study. She is not giving enough answers especially since you are an immigrant. She will just say you cannot study. Instead of giving you another option.

Bad! Avoid if you have the option.

I read an English course on Hermods at 100%.

Firstly, the course structure has too many exercises. For me the only way to have necessary time for the Assignments (which are the obligatory parts of the course) was to skip lots of these exercises, and I mean A LOT! This might depend on the person and specific course, yes, but still worth mentioning.

Secondly, the novo platform automatically logs you out after a while, so when you're working with something in a document and have multiple tabs up, with instructions and texts and what not, they will all be lost after a while and you need to find and reopen them again, making it very frustrating if you're working for longer periods...

Thirdly, I'd experienced various technical bugs throughout the course were I couldn't open certain tests. I had to contact the support and some they were not even able to fix at all.

Forth, and this is the biggest reason for me giving it not more than 2 stars.
If you fall behind with the time schedule, In my opinion they should HELP and give support, so you can get back on track as fast and smooth as possible. Instead they LOCK the Assignments and tests so that you cannot do them, only making it harder to complete the course. You must then contact the support for each one, to be able to open them and this means you are not able to continue your work until it's opened again, making you fall even more behind the schedule...

The positive things about the course is that it has a quite clear structure made up of modules making it easy to see what the course contains and what to do. The Assignments themselves were great and fun to work with. With this said though, my overall experience with the course was mudded down by the negatives and I am glad my course soon is over.

If you have the opportunity to pick another course provider I would highly recommend it.

To the one who is reading this comments think about yourself about your future about your mental health before you going to register yourself with people that just making money from the government by collecting students and giving them Bad teaching courses and in the end maybe 80% you will get F so please don't go there, safe time try another school (don't waste your time here)

I will have to write this in English, as i am still studying Swedish. I have started studying at Hermods in august 2022, and all of my classes were online. The tech support was pretty much non-existent. One of the courses wouldn't let me log in and all I would get when contacting Hermods were standard replies- clean up your browsing history, use Google Chrome, etc. As someone who works in IT, I was aware that the problem was not from my client, but from their servers, and it took about two weeks for them to fix a new account for me. Then that one stopped working too and I eventually got kicked out from the course because I could not participate. Two of my other courses were Swedish and Företagsekonomi 1. When I asked my economy teacher for help with one of my tasks that wasn't very clear she replied: "Det är inte mitt problem, jag är bara webblärare." I still don't understand this kind of behavior, because my message to her was respectful and I was not joking or being sarcastic. The swedish lessons went ok-ish, except for the fact that she refused to explain why my grade for the national exam was so low. When I was supposed to have my online examination and do a presentation, my internet was very unstable and I got disconnected. Then Hermods decided to remove my access from their website and the course instead of allowing me another chance to do the presentation. At first I thought it was another technical issue, but after a week I decided to contact them and I was told that I need to ask the rector for "another chance" but that I should not get my hopes up because I "waited too long". I am not sure if you can imagine my frustration with this school and with the fact that I wasted half a year there. I am a father of two children, one with autism, I have a job and I am studying full time. I honestly hope that other Swedish schools are not like this, and I hope that one day Hermods will learn to treat their students with a bit of respect.

No clear criteria for grades, teachers don’t have anything to do with helping students to learn anything. If the students are lucky they can get some knowledge by themselves. The school is just evaluating knowledge, not teaching at all. This is not the type of education that can help to learn.
