Max was very accommodating and the service we received was very efficient

Good availability for dates offered. Very fast follow up appointment too.
Particular thanks to Max who phoned several times one evening to get things booked in and find solutions.
Would definitely use again.

Efficient service and always friendly staff who explain the issue well

We were very pleased with Hexo Electrical Testing when they conducted their visit on November 10. The engineer replaced the fuse box and conducted a thorough check on all light fixtures and sockets. He also ensured he gave us an overview on what we need to do should we experience any issues with the fuse box in the future. Thank you very much!

I recently had electrical remedial work carried out at my property and was very pleased with the service. The electrician was professional, punctual, and clearly knowledgeable about the work required. Everything was explained clearly, and the job was completed efficiently and to a high standard. I appreciated how tidy and respectful they were while working on site, and the overall experience was smooth from start to finish. I would happily recommend their services and would use them again in the future.

I paid for same-day delivery, yet it took over a week to receive my certificate—and that was only after I repeatedly chased by email and phone. I was given no updates, no explanation, and not even an apology for the delay.
To make matters worse, the certificate I eventually received looked unprofessional. There was no signature, and the formatting was inconsistent, with random use of capital letters. I’m not even sure it’s usable.
Overall, this has been one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had.

Don't use this company.
I paid extra to receive the report within 48 hours -a week later I'm still waiting. When I call and ask for a date and a time when the report will be ready, the AI robots cuts me off.

I’m very disappointed with my experience with Hexo Electrical Testing. From start to finish, the process has been frustrating, poorly handled, and ultimately felt like extremely unprofessional service.
I provided all the information requested at the time of booking, and the job was quoted as a four-bedroom house buyer’s report. Despite this, the company later tried to add extra charges for additional circuits – only after the inspection was complete and the documents were ready to be released. Despite asking repeatedly, no evidence has been provided to justify the extra circuits they claimed to have tested.
When I questioned the sudden additional fee, the company became unwilling to consider that they incorrectly priced the job, even though they had all relevant information beforehand. They have refused to issue the documents I've already paid for unless I pay extra, which is unreasonable and unprofessional.
Overall, the pricing was inaccurate and they hide behind baseless elements of their terms and conditions. Based on this experience, I would avoid Hexo Electrical Testing and would advise others to avoid them.
They will likely respond to this with the same stock response they've used with everyone else. The baseline is they price incorrectly, then blame you for this and will keep your money. Listen to this and the other one star reviews. Go elsewhere, do not trust this company.

I booked this company for an EICR and PAT testing, expecting a straightforward safety report. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The engineer failed the EICR for items that should not have failed and did not carry out the PAT testing that was requested and paid for.
I obtained another independent assessment by another licensed company, and the electrician confirmed that what they found was totally satisfactory and passed the test with no issues. This electrician confirmed this did not warrant a failure.
This inconsistency concerns me about Hexo, especially since the recommended remedial work was going to be a costly and that could have led to costly work that wasn't required (including being asked to pay 60 quid towards changing a battery that shouldn't even form part of the test) .
Overall, I was unhappy with the accuracy of the assessment and the service provided, and I would not use this company again based on this experience and I would not recommend this company to anyone.
They also say they try to call you. But no missed calls funnily enough. A lot of their responses have the same comment. Please avoid at all costs.

scammmer company, do not use. See all the negative reviews about Hexo electrician failing your report, then send you a well-priced quote to 'fix' the problems.
It is cheap for a reason.
Google Map says it's based at Moorfields eye hospital, ha - yes I have reported to Google.

Marick came to fit our new fuse board and was very helpful, he was here all day as there were other jobs to do and he answered all of our questions.
The team at the office are brilliant and the service speed was fantastic. Everyone answered all of our questions, nothing was too much trouble.

Absolutely disgraceful company. Hexo Electrical do not refund you even if their electrician does not turn up. I was provided with a three hour window for an electrician to carry out an EICR test. The electrician failed to show within this time frame. I was called to be informed that he was held up in traffic and he would not be able to attend in the allotted time frame. Unacceptable. Just how big a window do you need? I cancelled the appointment and tried to reschedule the appointment for the following day. This proved to be quite the disaster. I was told that the electrician would have to get to me at 7am in order to get to a more important job up in London. The early arrival was to ensure that he would not get held up in traffic. You couldn’t make this stuff up, could you? I could not make 7am as I do not live at the property, it is a rental and I live 20 miles away. I was then pressured by the sales staff to accept a 7:30am appointment instead. This left a really bad taste in the mouth at the complete lack of professionalism and disregard for me as a customer. I then returned the call cancelled the appointment and requested they refund me, which was agreed by the sales staff at the time. Now, two weeks have elapsed and they have refused to refund me and also they never respond to emails. They are disgraceful, truly disgraceful. They are cheap for a reason.

recently hired this company for an EICR test, which was quoted at £120 and paid upfront. After the inspection was completed, they sent me an additional invoice before releasing the test results. This included charges for testing 3 additional circuit at £15 each plus VAT, and a congestion charge of £15 plus VAT — even though my property is not in a congestion zone. When I questioned this, they admitted the congestion fee was added “in error” and issued a revised invoice.
Once I finally received the report, it was marked “unsatisfactory,” followed by a remedial quote of around £600, plus additional “recommended” work. They also provided a second quote of about £500 as a “minimum cost” to pass the EICR. What raised even more concern is that the same line items were priced differently across the two quotes, with a difference of around £60 for identical work.
When I asked for clarification, I was told that if they carry out only minimum job, they add an “attendance fee” to make the visit “worthwhile.” This felt like a clear tactic to inflate costs and pressure the customer into accepting expensive additional work.
Based on my experience, this company uses confusing and inconsistent pricing and attempts to charge unnecessary fees. I strongly advise other customers to be cautious and double-check any quotes or added charges.

The team is extremely helpful, and their response time to emails is impressively quick. I remember they assisted me with my ECR testing last year, and their customer service was outstanding then—and it still is today! I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Had EICR 2 weeks ago. Engineer broke a door in elderly lady's home. Left it in a dangerous state. We have been calling and emailing HEXO since, as have our estate agents. Nobody calls back, nobody emails back. When you talk to them there is NEVER a manager to talk to. They've done nothing to fix THEIR fault on the job. Disgusting. Was going to us them for remedial work but not after this fiasco. Quick to take your money, No aftercare whatsoever.
