If you want a simple to operate, great sounding CD player for that stack of old discs you’ve got sitting around, this is it.

Very fast delivery but the CD player SMSL PL150 was defective upon receipt. The player cannot read any CD. Presented case to customer service. Even after a reminder still no response.

Hifi-express.com quickly sent a quality product and took care of customs formalities. Everything was done at the highest level!

Package was shipped in about 3 weeks, totally ok, communication was good and friendly and price was valid.

I ordered from your site page which stated my order originated from US. This was FALSE. As a result of ordering from "US Origin", I could not get the preferred Black version, so I had to settle for the less desirable Silver version. Then I find out it is being shipped from CHINA. What you did was totally and completely fraudulent, intentionally misrepresenting the country of origin. Then I wrote you about it, and you NEVER responded. I am more than unsatisfied, I have been SCAMMED, and I will tell everybody I can, and use every forum there is to review your fraudulent business practices.

More than 1 month ago (I didn't have the chance to review earlier), I have purchased the SMSL PL100 from them. I even got a 5$ coupon and I thought: GREAT!
But, mainly, because from their site I could to choose from which Warehouse to order (in my case, EU), so I could feel safe to avoid to pay extra fees / customs and get the product soon. NONE OF THAT!
IT WAS SHIPPED FROM CHINA, HAD TO WAIT MORE THAN 2 WEEKS AND...
"SURPRISE, SURPRISE"! I WAS ASKED TO PAY FROM MY LOCAL POST, 20,47€ (23,26$) of VAT and 15€(17,05$) FOR CUSTOMS CHARGES! BECAUSE IT WAS SHIPPED FROM CHINA AND NOT EUROPEAN UNION!

So in total I have paid 100,99 + 23,26 + 17,05$ = 141,3$!!!! Had to wait looong time and lost 2 hours of my time going to the local post to pay!
If I had buy directly in my country from a local store, I would have saved about 35$ and received in 2 days, at my door!

Don't trust them when they say that you can choose from which warehouse you want to be shipped the order and (their words) save additional charges and time... IT'S ALL A LIE!
STAY AWAY FROM THEM!

Item arrived and it's faulty. Despite numerous emails and attempts to use their online chat system I have had no response. I am having to resort to a credit card chargeback
