Paul was recommended to me. He was very helpful and clearly committed to giving his clients a great deal of time and information on how to achieve the best result possible on auction day. My property was advertised across a wide range of property portals - the familiar ones such as Rightmove but also dedicated auction house websites to gain a wide audience. He is very knowledgeable, and helpful, and I recommend him.

Very impressed with the service provided by Paul from Higgins Drysdale. Walked me through the auction procedure making it easy to understand. Paul was available to talk to whenever required and was sympathetic to the problems I had prior to the auction route. Disappointed that my property did not reach its reserve, but Paul was able to talk me through the current market situation allowing me to be more realistic. Paul was even kind enough to contact me once sale was complete to make sure I was in a good place which was appreciated.

I was introduced to Paul by my estate agent as my property was of non-standard construction and it was felt that this method of auction was the best way forward.

I found Paul to be very conscientious and hardworking. Every aspect of the auction process was explained in detail and I was given weekly updates on the progress. Paul was available throughout the week and weekends to answer any queries and he responded promptly to emails. His attention to customer care was second to none.

I came across this website when looking for auction/probate properties for my property business. I have never really dealt with auctions and even though there was information on the website, I wanted a bit more detail to get my head around the end-to-end process. I booked a session with Paul, who was helpful, very informative and able to provide information in a digestible and understandable way. He was very patient and was able to answer any of the questions I had, including when I wanted to clarify my understanding. I will definitely keep this as an auction site to attend/view/bid with!

Excellent. I decided to consider auction, as the private treaty process had produced many offers, but unfortunately all had fallen through. Additionally, the sale had to be completed in a very short amount of time for my future plans to be realised. If the sale took longer than this timeframe, the opportunity would be lost to me.

So the primary reason I looked in to auction was to create a bit more security and reduce the transaction time. Paul contacted me and explained how it worked. I had already spoken to some of the larger auction companies who seemed to have very high rates which I was certain would put any potential buyer off. Paul had a much more pragmatic approach. The fees he suggested were significantly lower and were tailored to what I was trying to achieve. He also discussed and planned contingency measures should things not go exactly to plan.

Paul took the time to really understand my situation and had a firm grasp of some fairly complex issues which related to my position and future plans. Because of this he really understood the impact that failure would have.

Unfortunately, the auction did fail. I think this was due to a combination of the type of property and the market conditions. Paul did his best to work behind the scenes to generate interest but to no avail.

However! Paul was determined to sell the property and asked if I would allow him to try and sell it via the private treaty method. I agreed and he quickly had 3 potential buyers. He explained their positions and made recommendations based on his experience. When one buyer made an offer, I was informed what was likely to happen and essentially had an insider advisor. I did accept an offer from that buyer and started to proceed.

Paul, understanding those tight deadlines, drove the sale forward, liaising with the buyers, surveyors and all solicitors involved. The sale was achieved in time and I can now move forward.

Generally speaking, Paul was a thorough and conscientious agent and advisor. He is extremely knowledgeable of all aspects of property and can translate this effectively to a property outsider. He is driven and tenacious, taking significant personal pride in his work.

Without Paul, I would almost certainly still be stuck with a property and unable to move forward. Probably for quite a long time too.

I cannot recommend Paul enough and he would be the first person I would reach out to if I need assistance with buying or selling property in the future.
