Shocking contempt toward the patient
I visted "Hila" hematologist with severe hypereosinophilia, shortness of breath, chest pain, and palpitations. The doctor said "it'll keep happening anyway" and that I "didn't know how to live".
Even though, according to modern guidelines, severe hypereosinophilia with systemic symptoms must be immediately evaluated for organ damage and treated to prevent irreversible fibrosis, the hematologist only told me to check the blood levels again in a month, claiming that "there is no other treatment".
Upon writing a complaint to the administration, "Hila" said that the "consultation was provided in a high-quality and appropriate manner", failing to address the grossly unprofessional behavior and non-adherence to hypereosinophilia treatment guidelines.
I find such contempt toward the patient disgraceful. The non-answer from the "Hila" administration demonstrates that the image of a modern private clinic is only a veneer.
