Absolutely terrible experience from start to finish.
The company scheduled a technician to come to my house last Saturday between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM for measuring and fitting blinds. I wasted my entire morning waiting — and nobody showed up. No phone call, no text message, no email, absolutely ZERO communication from the company or their representative. Completely unacceptable and unbelievably unprofessional.
What makes this even worse is that this is not my first bad experience with this company. A previous employee who visited my home looked like he hated his job and acted as if he was doing me a favour just by being there. No communication skills, no professionalism, no customer service whatsoever.
This company clearly has no respect for customers’ time. If you make appointments with people, the bare minimum is to show up or at least inform them that you are not coming. Instead, they left me sitting at home for 3 hours like an idiot waiting for someone who never intended to appear.
I will never use this company again and would strongly advise others to stay away unless you enjoy wasting your time and being ignored. One of the most unprofessional and useless companies I have dealt with in a very long time.
The number of positive reviews here honestly does not match the level of service I experienced at all.

The quality of the blinds are incredible but Ger Breen, Carrick 315047 was just fantastic, he is an absolute credit to Hillary blinds. He was professional but also so understanding and friendly to my toddler running around. He made everything so effortless helping choose the correct blinds I needed and installing them to perfection.

I went for insect scren and blackout screen for baby room sparing no expense.

Already had a blackout blind which would leak light on the sides so went with them as baby doesn’t sleep without complete darkness.

Nowhere do they mention they put the blackout screen and the insect screen on the same rail so it leaks light. Doesn’t solve my purpose at all. Dissapointed.

Karen at Hillarys was really helpful when I lost the remote for my blinds and couldn’t get them open. She dealt with it straight away and made the whole thing very easy. Quick response, helpful attitude and great customer service.

Great communication with sales rep / installer Ger Breen. He arrived exactly at the agreed time and did an excellent job.

Clins kurian who measured ordered and fitted our blinds was an absolute pleasure to deal with. I would recommend hilarys.

I have been a regular customer with Hillary Blinds for a considerable amount of time and I have received consistent great customer service and Jennifer Lynam was no different. Jennifer was absolutely fantastic!! She gave me great advice about what colours and choices I should consider, concerning my kitchen, which really put me at ease. Jennifer was thoughtful, listened and reassured me not to make any decisions until I was sure. Jenny went above and beyond. An absolutely brilliant Customer Adviser. Thanks Jennifer

When we followed up with queries he came back almost instantly. 10/10 service, we are delighted with our blinds and would recommend Hillary’s and Tharmendran to everyone.

The insallation team were punctual, indicating the time of arrival and were courteous and professional in their work.
