I placed an order with Himalayan Trading Company on August 30, 2025 (Order HTC10046782) totaling $149.37.
According to the website, orders typically ship within 6–12 business days. As of March 2026, the merchandise has never been delivered.
I attempted multiple times to contact the company:
Sent email to customer support – no response
Called the listed customer service number and left a voicemail with my name, order number, and phone number – no response
Despite this, the company continues to send promotional marketing emails encouraging additional purchases.
Because the item was never delivered, I attempted to dispute the charge with my bank but discovered the dispute window had just expired.
I have now filed complaints with:
Better Business Bureau
Federal Trade Commission
Virginia Attorney General Consumer Protection Division
Utah Consumer Protection Division
If the company can provide proof of shipment and delivery, I would gladly update this review.
As of now, my experience has been paying $149.37 for merchandise that never arrived and receiving no response from the company.

Got their lamp as a gift. It had corrosion on a wire and never turned on!

I give the salt lamp five stars but the business gets one star. When a customer places an order and the customers credit card has been charged but after a couple of weeks nothing has been shipped that is a poor business practice that should be illegal. If a company has employees that are too lazy to pull the item off of the shelf, package it up and ship it then I blame the company more than the employee. Customers should not have to call to find out where their purchased item is. I never received any out of stock notices or reasons for the delay just silence. I won’t be doing business here again.

Ordered a candle, never received it. Left a voice-mail and even called again later that same day. Pretty sure from these reviews that this is a scam. Don't order from them.

I never received the product or anything more than an automated response after two emails inquiring about the $100 purchase I made. I requested a refund and heard nothing. I called the company two times and didn't get a response. I had to dispute the charge through PayPal and got my money back that way.

Update:
The seller finally reached out to me and removed the images from their website showing other people as owners who did not consent.

They DID send me the product and the are beautiful! They even sent a few extra items as an apology.

Sadly, I had to file a formal dispute with PayPal to get anyone to contact me from there. They never once Responded to me through their service email or phone. Only through PayPal dispute center.

If you REALLY want a nice salt lamp and you want to go through all this trouble and you are NOT in a hurry, they are a great product for the price.

So, I see some people actually did receive some product - I am going to say they are either also scammers or someone picked up a lamp and shipped them one. The "family" on the about us page is not the family. I have located two of the people in that photo who have confirmed they are not in any way affiliated with Himalayan Trading Co. Their images were stolen. I received no product. No response. Only a charge on my CC.

purchased a gift, contacted the company to advise I did not want the two marble bases @ $25 each and was told I had to receive them and then return them for credit, which I did in July. I paid to mail them back. I show that they were received by Himalayan Trading Co. but no credit was ever processed and they will not pick up the phone or respond to my inquiries. Very unethical business. do not purchase products here. they have my information, I've left 5 voicemails with customer service that have gone unresponded to.

I wish I had read these reviews before I purchased my salt lamp. Ordered July 5 and it's Aug 20th. I'm hoping it arrives as tracking suggests ... when I reached out to customer service they said, "We always try to get the orders out as soon as possible, it just gets a bit harder in times like these, as you would understand." They said they'd expedite the order and ... over six weeks later I'm still waiting.

I ordered four extra large stones for my family for Christmas. They shipped me one small stone. I emailed, left voicemails, and I've been ignored. It's now June. They have my $200 and I have one small stone. THIEVES!!!

They never sent my order. Sketchy wording on the website, makes excuses for shipping delays, and ghosts when you try to get a refund.

I ordered a replacement bulb for my salt lamp. Two weeks went by and I still hadn’t gotten confirmation that it had shipped. So I reached out to them and a couple days later they give me the typical covid-19 excuse (ordered at the end of 2023) but they did send it and I received it in one piece. However, less than one month later it already burned out. So I reached out to them to ask if they’d replace that one but I got no response. Every time I call the customer service number I get sent to a voicemail telling me they’ll call me back. Nope. I’ve left emails and I’ve never gotten a response. Ghosted. Don’t buy from here, need more proof then check on Reddit where lots of other people are saying the same thing.

A year ago I ordered a salt lamp and paid for it via credit card. I never did receive my salt lamp as it was my birthday present November 2022. I reached out to the company with the order number and they told me there was a delay with the supplier. to this day, I have never received my order, nor refund nor any explanation as to what happened to the salt lamp! Any attempt with the company has fallen on deaf ears, and no response nor explanation has been given. They owe me a salt lamp. I am very disappointed and cannot get my refund on my credit card because the credit card says that it’s been too long to issue a refund. Do not purchase from this company!!!!!

I placed an order for a salt lamp that was supposed to be delivered in 5-10 business days. After it not shipping for 20 days, I contacted them to cancel my order. They ignored me and shipped it 30 days after I ordered. It arrived broken and covered in some sort of dirt. I am now trying to get a refund and their support staff is refusing to do a refund, they insist on replacing the item. I have had to file a dispute with my credit card company.
