My experience working with the Team at HIPPO has been a good one so far . We had a the small issue with the system where the Parts were being linked to the wrong machine and i would have like it to be sorted out a bit faster and kept updated a bit more so that i would know what was happening but i know they worked hard on resolving the issue. Apart from that things have been moving along smoothly and i like the system so far. It is making a difference in our operations.

Very please with how the software performs. Staff at Hippo are very pleasant to deal with and support has always been available. After understanding the format and solving a few glitches the onboarding has been quite seamless. Overall very satisfied with our new CMMS system.

Hippo CMMS has been a great addition to our company's PM program. Very easy to understand and navigate thru. The technical support and training, whether by webinars or on-site, has been nothing short of excellent. Professional and friendly staff are ALWAYS there when contacted for any questions, concerns or issues you may have and getting results and answers to these are done in a quick and timely manner. Our company presently has six locations using the Hippo CMMS PM program and has made 'managing' all six a much easier process with much more control over the operations. I 'HIGHLY' recommend seeing what Hippo has to offer for your managing needs.

Too Many Troubles With Program
We have had nothing but trouble with the Hippo program, especially since the last "upgrade" to version 6. Not a single workstation is using the program properly. Way too steep of a learning curve for what should be a relatively easy to navigate program, and the fine tuning never ends. The little things add up to a lot of aggravation. As one example, version 6 does not allow more than one operator to have their Hippo desktop open in one browser at a time! Ridiculous! Just one of our workstations has 5 people needing access to Hippo, so no one bothers to close out anyone else's Hippo page to open their own, We don't have time to be playing around switching users simply because Hippo didn't code for multiple users in individual browsers.

I am very pleased with the technical support. My technical representative, Mel Motoch is always extremely helpful. If she doesn't pick up and I leave a message she gets back to me in a timely manor.
I am also very happy with the features in HIPPO as well as how user friendly the system has been so far. I still have a lot of data entry to do before i can realize the full potential of the system.
Question: Is there any idea when the auto generated purchase order feature will become available?

Good Product
Overall, I have found this product easy to set up and straightforward to use. However, I would like to see the capability (at the user level) to delete unwanted work orders, but this is not a show stopper by any means. I have also noticed that when using a tablet, the full range of menu picks on the left side of the screen is unavailable.
Going forward, I am going to use Hippo in organizing and tracking my tool crib inventory and transactions. Although not specifically designed for this purpose, I believe that it has the flexibility to be adapted to this use. This will allow me to use one integrated software solution, instead of two.

Maintenance to promote sustainability.
Maintenance for the future.
I have been in this position for 14 months, I have emailed for information and have received a response. To date I haven't watched a webinar. My plan for the future is to have all the head custodians in the schools setup on daily PM schedules. PM's for the major equipment will be the responsibility of the maintenance department, gather the information and build a solid maintenance program where we are servicing not replacing equipment that hasn't been serviced properly. Setting this up requires an incredible amount of time & information.

I've actually been using Hippo for about two years now and find it extremely easy to use. I use it to keep track of all our vehicles for service and repairs. Keeping up with man hour on each job is a breeze now. Looking back to see when and what was preformed on a job and which tech done the work is a snap.

In using hippo for six months now I am finding it a bit cumbersome and frustrating to use. It works well for most of managing the big picture of a system. But I feel when you dial in on equipment, and categorizing PM set up and the finite details it is time consuming to input data, and the columns do not give a person a real clear view of what the column cagorties need. I'm proficient in the use of excel and other programs like excel but this has a lot to be desired. when using Hippo there is not any real support system other than submitting a request online. This is ok but the last two times I submitted requests for help it was THREE days to get an answer on the first one, and two days on the second one, I had already figured out the answer by then. I would have to give the support section of Hippo a rating of 2 ten being best. Why can't there be drop down menus for each column explaining what is needed in the column, there is not a instruction manual or FAQ section that I know of or a breif tutorial section for the different areas in hippo. I have used Maximo CMMS befor and I liked it much better.
