Not the gift I was expecting
My other half brought me here for a long weekend. I should of seen the red flag when we 1st checked in. The stay was through Booking.com. I had noticed on Capt Hirams site that if this was your 1st time here and a Florida resident, you get a discount. Booking said we had to contact Capt Hirams directly, which I did and the girl said we would get it at check in...we didn't. We were told because it was a 3rd party. Check I'm and go over to the Tiki bar where it took awhile for the bartender to help us. It was not busy at this time. Fast forward to dinner at Blackfins that was good and went well however the next night we returned, I order the hot/cold shrimp and was told I could have them split whereas the night previous the did. The girl said the previous waitress shouldn't of done that. Sunday I woke up to several bites on my legs. I said nothing a check out being I just thought it was a few however as we took our 3 hour ride home it got progressly worse. I got home to bed bug bites all over. I immediately washed our clothes. I have emailed Capt Hirams 2 times with a pictures to no avail. What a way to spend my birthday weekend!
