Given that Hirbawi is the current sole domestic producer of the keffiya, producing with high quality under a state of occupation, outside support helps keep alive the culture along with the enterprise. Purchases keep some foreign exchange flows going where they are very useful; gifting a PALESTINIAN product makes a tangible connection to the hands that made it for the gift's recipient. Hopefully, each one of these will be seen by many people in everyday life and not just at marches and demonstrations; in America, Palestine should be in front of all people, everywhere, all the time.
