From an employers standpoint, Monster falls well short of any expectations that I have. I have the same ad on 3 different job sites. Monster, by far is the lowest performing site when it comes to ap... See more

Expensive

Expensive, and I do not get many applications. Maybe 1 every other week. The applications that I do get are not qualified for the position. Example: I have a posting listed for a physician assistant or nurse practitioner. I have gotten 2 resumes from someone with no medical school training or medical office training.

Employer Resume Service

Paid $399 for 1 month of posting a job for candidates. Filled out all the particular skill sets I was in need of. Received a great deal of resumes, HOWEVER, approx. 95% of what I received did not meet the criteria I was looking for. I found my person by my professional references. I would not use Monster service again for my company.

Have had good luck finding qualified candidates

I have used Monster for the last three openings over the last two years or so. Appreciate the ease in posting and the quality of candidates. Price seems fair, desired add-ons/features are more common that results in a price increase. Dealing with customer service gets more frustrating each time I need to get an issue resolved quickly. Also, my account rep changes frequently.

Poor results

For $249 I would expect more than 3 job applications in a month. I had much better success with Craigslist and Indeed.

I was promised to get 20 resumes immediately never received any

Not a single applicant for the entire length of my job posting. The advertisement said I would get 20 resumes immediately once I paid the fee. I never got a single one. I called customer support and nothing happened. Maybe it will work for others but for me this was an total rip off

Useless

The website is not user friendly and yield few acceptable applicants. The cost is too high for poor quality results. We had better luck with Craiglist.

Poor experience

I have not had many applicants apply for the position. Please repost my adverts to help me get applicants.

More importantly your user interface is extremely poor. Hard to use and difficult to manage applications.

You seriously need to overhaul your system before a competitor takes over. Your user interface is very old school and makes it a bad bad experience for the hiring manager.

Bad candidates

Was sent people that were looking for jobs in other types of business. They were not a fit for what I needed and should not have been submitted to me for any type of consideration.

Bad experience with Monster. Wasted my money and will not mention their name again.

Job Applicants

Gave a specific title and scope of work. I received a lot of resumes, but not within the scope of what I requested. We needed accounting experience not medical caregivers, fast food servers or dog walkers. Thank you anyways.

Unqualified Applicants

In placing 2 adds 99% were unqualified applicants. I went with Monster and paid the premium price but got the same response that I had gotten with Craigslist and Indeed which we far more reasonable in price

waste of time

95% of applicants did not have the pharmacist degree needed for the job description. There is also limited ability to use a non major city. I even had someone yell at me because the ad made me use the closest city.
