Second time for us, with an ancient Egyptian day. Each delivered by a different leader, but both were fabulous; excellent knowledge, wonderful artefacts for the children to handle and examine, a mummification sequence with the right balance of knowledge, humour and gory detail! Our children absolutely loved it and some said it was 'the best day ever'! Excellent communication from the team and ran like a well oiled machine. Thank you, Leigh and Katy. We hope to see you next year!

Absolutely fantastic day for our KS1 class exploring the Tudors with King Henry VIII himself! The children were so engaged all day and it was an incredible way to bring history to life.

Jess was amazing! Her workshop was engaging and inspiring, and the children learned so much about the Romans and Boudicca throughout the day. Her instructions were very clear, and she maintained excellent control of all 90 pupils.

An amazing Viking workshop — very engaging and brilliantly delivered from start to finish. The kids loved the day and really enjoyed all of the hands-on activities. It kept them interested throughout, and we’d highly recommend booking them.

Jess was absolutely fantastic. She was amazing with the children and we all had a great day.

The Roman History workshop was excellent and fully engaged our pupils throughout. The storytelling of the life of Julius Caesar was a real highlight and captured the children’s attention even at the very end of the day.

Pupils particularly enjoyed the hands-on elements, including handling artefacts, role-playing, and practicing Roman battle tactics. One child summed it up perfectly: “It was exciting because we did activities and learned new things.”

Rob provided a thoroughly engaging 'Ancient Greek' workshop, all the children loved him! Extremely knowledgeable as well as excellent classroom presence - a brilliant day! Thank you!

We scheduled the Stone Age Workshop and the children really loved it. Each activity was engaging and the students had the best time. Would recommend!

The resources were fabulous, so engaging for the children. The knowledge of the leader was outstanding. Excellent pace to keep the children interested and they gained a lot of knowledge. Teacher and children enjoyed had the most amazing day!!

Very entertaining, children were engaged throughout the workshop. Plenty of activities to fill the day comfortably without children getting board/being left without anything to do. Children were fully immersed in the experience and were asking Ugg to return almost immediately. Children were able to transfer knowledge learnt into our history lessons.

Our Y3 class participated in the Stone Age workshop led by Kate. We did a brilliant range of activities that related to our learning and engaged the children, including: archery, tool crafting, artefact handling, bone investigation and cave painting. Our workshop leader, Kate, was brilliant with her acting and engagement of the children. We would definitely have Historic Workshops back again! Big thank you from us all.

The Egyptian workshop was fantastic! Our children loved the mumification process and all of the workshops were well planned, resourced well and very interactive. We will definitely book again for next year, and I have recommended you to the rest of the year groups to hopefully book some more workshops next year.

We had Rob come to our school and deliver an Ancient Egyptian workshop.

The workshop was for a year 2 class, which Rob appropriately adapted for and the class LOVED the day.

The resources were brilliant and engaging for the class and Rob's knowledge was amazing. We will be booking again!

The Ancient Egyptian workshop was fantastic. The leader of the workshop was very knowledgable and engaging. All activities were delivered brilliantly and all of the children and adults had a fantastic day while learning an enormous amount about the Egyptians. Very happy with the entire day and will be booking another workshop soon.

We enjoyed a well planned, well resourced day with Bethany leading a toys past and present workshop. The children described it as their best day ever (as did the adults). It was an amazing day from start to finish and brought an otherwise very boring topic to life! Would definitely recommend 🙂

Engaging and interesting
The lead was knowledgeable and made the experience very enjoyable for the children.

We had the Ancient Egyptian workshop with Jess for Year 3. The whole day was fantastic. Jess arrived early to go through the whole day and discussed any needs in the class. She was enthusiastic and the children loved having Merit (Jess) in the classroom. Thank you for a fantastic experience.

We had a Mayan workshop for our Year 5/6 pupils and many said it was the most enjoyable history session they have ever had. David made history come to life with a wide range of activities and practical tasks. He had great control of the class and the teachers loved watching him sacrifice a child.

Have used this company for both a Stone Age and Ancient Egyptian day. Excellent communication to arrange both trips.
Leader arrived early with an amazing set of artefacts and everything needed for the whole day. Very immersive experience. Kids loved it.
