We are sorry to hear you didn’t receive your item. We can assure you we haven’t had a single email from yourself (spam folders are regularly checked also) and we can see from tracking that your parcel was delivered 02-06-2025. You can find the tracking number on your order page. It’s strange that we didn’t get an email and we can see the item was delivered. If you would like to contact us at historyinyourhands@outlook.com and we can discuss this further. If this review has been left in error, we would appreciate it removed as it isn’t reflective of our service.

In response to the further reply, on inspection we have found that the tracking number from Royal Mail was not ported across to the order which is an automated system. We expect the Royal Mail system to work correctly but there are occasions this doesn’t happen and is beyond our control. We have now supplied the customer with the relevant tracking number, which shows delivery to his address.

In response to the fact he heard nothing after purchase, the customer has sent us his dispatch notification email which clearly shows communication after purchase, stating his order was on the way. For whatever reason, we did not get any emails and this so the first we have heard of this issue and are working with the customer to try and resolve it.

We respect our customers and are grateful they choose to shop with us, being a small family run business. We endeavour to deliver the best possible service, but if we are unaware of incidents then we cannot resolve them. We are sincerely sorry that on this occasion the customer has been let down by various factors, ie no tracking information provided, no receipt of emails and in addition to these the customer states the item hasn’t been delivered. This is what we would class as a one off incident and have never experienced anything like this before so we are keen to work with the customer to resolve things.
