Withdraw made possible after a lot of stress.
UPDATE: 3 days after being told my account had passed KYC, Today GOOD NEWS, HitBTC allowed my withdrawal to go though (it was significant amount also) . So even though i had a real nightmare trying to get my funds, they did allow me to withdraw in the end.
PLEASE check my username, ive been in Crypto since 2013, i would not write anything but the truth and hitbtc did not ask me to change my review, i am doing so because i live by the truth and honesty.
Be Careful and expect a lot of stress when trying to withdraw.
1. You join and they let you deposits any amount of funds you want. No questions asked.
2. You try to withdraw.
3. You get told you need to do KYC
4. You hand over personal information, letter with residence address, national ID Card info AND Phone Number (no exchange will ever ask for this), Phone number is required also, of course, the id has to be in super high quality .
5. You get email "Account fully restored, you passed KYC"
6. You to go withdraw - BLOCKED!
7. you message support again.
8. wait.... WAIT until they reply.
THREE Stressful days later, i got automated looknig email to be told, once again, account fully restored, i went to withdraw and had a very nervous 60min wait and finally my withdrawal went though.
So, for me, it has probally knocked 10 years of my life expectancy due to all of the stress, but i did get my funds back, all i have left in this world also, so im relieved beyond words. This is the end for me now. Im done with crypto 100% i will never return, im done.
The Honest Truth
Hopefully I can shed some light factually on this Exchange as follows:
1. Blocks withdrawls on many cryptos under the guise of maintainance or software updates.
2.Currencies where withdrawals are stopped are then offered on the platform at 30% market value - the Honeypot - but you still cannot withdraw.
3. Numerous registered offices - most of which have been struck off by regulators. Hit Solutions Ltd, Hong Kong. Now they are in the Seychelles if you believe that.
4. Support is automated and purely a smokescreen, no meaningful responses or actual support.
5. When you escalate you are asked to contact legal at HITBTC - no response.
6. Your assets are not actually in your wallet on their exchange - where are they? Have they perhaps been sold to Binance?
7. Business like this are giving crypto trading a very shady reputation for all in the sector and should be called to account.
8. A cursory investigation online will establish the Truth/Efficacy of my points.
This is costing people their life savings so I can only urge all that are having issues with this business to initiate a formal complaint with local law enforcement, particularly the FBI. This is a simple and highly effective online process. Please spread the word throughout social media so more people, like us, do not suffer financial loss.
Cannot withdraw. 2fa is working and enabled
I have my email, my password, and my 2fa google auth is working fine.
They suspended my withdrawal for no reason and now want me to kyc to withdraw funds i only put there yesterday. I cannot get my funds back out. They allow you to deposit, but not withdraw.
The thing about my case, is i have 2fa working fine. They just want to steal my coins.
If they are questioning that i actually made the deposit they could ask me to send a small amount from the same address to verify it is my depositing account.
They do not want to help you..They are not doing kyc to protect you. They are doing it to drag it out, so you get so exhausted you give up. Do not send them your passport or kyc information.
if they ever get back, i will change this score of 1 star accordingly.

Edit: Hitbtc changed their terms and conditions after i signed up. This tactic allows them to put anything they want in, update the terms on the website, and that is the new law.
Unfortunately for Hitbtc the legal system does not see it the same way. People like me have the original terms and conditions and will be filing this to be used against you.
You are the biggest thieves in the crypto industry and it is only a matter of time before the law catches you and finds out your company is illegal and a complete fraud.

SCAM
Scam
Attention
Avoid this exchange scam ..
TRX collection fee 108 TRX. about $ 7
The reality on block explorer is max 2 TRX ...
Siacoin SC collection fee -364 SC cca 6 dollar ..
USDT collection fee 45 USDT cca 45 dollar ..
You pay for the exchange of coins as well as large withdrawal fees.
No exchange on the Internet has just this, it's a scam.
I froze about 100 many coins different all the time, for example -
announced the termination of the ATMChain token was an option to exchange elsewhere,
ATMChain price $ 0.001, fee selection $ 54
she's a thief.
They rob people on exchange fees - and you don't always exchange the entire balance.
They rob people of the fees of the choice - exorbitant sums ..
They rob people to end coins - and they exchange them elsewhere.
I have documented this matter and handed it over to the police,
Also on federal priced paper that this company robs me and many people all over the internet of fraud reviews.

Worst support ever!!
I have used Hitbtc for more then6 years now, only now that I have an actual problem it seemed the support team is very incapable of handling problems, they do not look actually into the problem, just search for the nearest and blow you off with a message that its your fault and they can not help.
I have deposit tokens to the given deposit address, now they are claiming I send it to the wrong address.
They gave me that address, how an it be my problem now?
I suggest to use another exchange like Bittrex or Binance, they have awesome support, live chat and not waiting 3 months to get a reply from a ticket.
And they reply here on trustpilot with the same answer again.
No, if ypu actually take the time to check my deposit wallet from hitbtc 0xa53aD3a00866f5B34F37B07cc2a36666A3d96872 in etherscan you can see that there are 2 different utk tokens, ond and new. You keep pointing to the old token and yes they arw not suported anymore.
0xdc9ac3c20d1ed0b540df9b1fedc10039df13f99c?a=0xa53ad3a00866f5b34f37b07cc2a36666a3d96872
Here you can clearly see that the new tokens are send from the right contract address.
And thats the frustrating part. You dont take the time to actually look into the problem.

HitBTC 2FA Permanent Lock Out
HitBTC will never give you access to your own account. They will ignore your trouble tickets. If they do respond, they will pretend to help you, asking for more and more personal information, then stop responding to you once you've given them everything that they've asked for. I've been trying to get access to my account for months. Do not use HitBTC. You will never see your money again.

My 4 years of experience with HiTBTC!
Good afternoon to all English speakers. My name is Yakov R. I am from Russia, the city of Kursk.
I want to publicly share my review of the HiTBTC Ticket # 1326461 exchange. I first registered on the HiTBTC exchange in 2017. A couple of months later, I don’t remember exactly, the exchange asked me to be verified in accordance with the rules of using the exchange, where it can ask any user to verify at any time. I noticed such rules on most major world exchanges. In 2017, I was already a user with a VERIFIED account status. In the period 2018-2021 January, I was not an active trader, roughly speaking, I did not log into my account. In January 2021, I got 0.20 BTC for trading. After trying to withdraw them in the same month of 2021, the exchange suspended the withdrawal for me, and asked to update my passport data. I sent my passport of the Russian Federation, foreigner of the Russian Federation, the rights of the Russian Federation. Then HiTBTC was allowed to withdraw my funds on the same day. In June 2021, I entered a substantial amount of over $ 10,000 on the exchange. After blocking my funds, HiTBTC asked to provide the source of origin of the funds that I brought to the exchange, in accordance with the rules of the HiTBTC platform, which I studied before registering on the exchange, as well as provide actual confirmation of my location. And also in the requirements it was that the document of the location was in Latin and notarized. I asked the provider for an invoice to pay for my Internet services. Then I went to the translator, translated this bill into English, and notarized it by paying 2,000 rubles for this document. I sent it to the HiTBTC service. I transferred my USDT funds to the HiTBTC exchange from my personal EXODUS wallet. I sent screenshots from my EXODUS wallet to the exchange.
When I received a block on the withdrawal of my funds and requirements for the provision of all the necessary documents, confirmation of the origin of funds, I went online and after reading reviews on different sites, including here, I realized that 10 negative panic reviews account for 1 positive one. After reading reviews about my exchange on which I have traded for more than 4 years in a row, I already began to suspect HiTBTC of illegally seizing user funds, including the possible seizure of my funds. But after providing all the necessary documents, translated into English and notarized, I received the unlocking of my funds, the return of the status of my VERIFIED account. I spent about 2 weeks of my life and 8,000 rubles on compiling answers, translations, notarization. After submitting documents for the HiTBTC service, support responded to me from 1 day to 5 business days, 5 business days was the longest, the only case. This time was always from 1 day to 2 days.
General impressions of the exchange and the current situation with re-verification. On the one hand, I spent time, 100 euros of my funds. But on the other hand, for the entire period as a client of the HiTBTC exchange, only various gifts in the form of different tokens were presented to me by the exchange in the amount of more than 1000 euros! As well as . As a result of the excellent work of the exchange for 4 years, I have increased my deposit many times! That, compared to the loss of 100 euros for the verification of your account, is a mere trifle. I also gained tremendous experience in negotiations with stock exchanges, experience in providing evidence of my innocence and building a legal position, since my hobby is jurisprudence, including international law. As a result, I did not violate the terms of use of the HiTBTC exchange, for its part, the exchange did not violate our user agreement with it, which I studied before registering on the exchange. And how to learn it without knowing English? Yes, simply, click on the button in the browser to translate into Russian and read it easily written and not large in volume J . As an example for you my situation, I tried to study the user agreement between the client and the service for providing a scooter for rent, which I did not read and abandoned after 30 minutes of reading and decided that on such conditions as the Wushi service wants, I would rather not take the scooter to lease, as I considered this agreement very restrictive of my rights.
The situation with the blocking of funds was resolved positively. HiTBTC service As a customer I am satisfied, I am also satisfied with the support service.
I wish the HiTBTC Team, prosperity, happiness, success in the development of the platform, as well as fewer user checks, fewer requirements for customers.
But you will need to follow all the rules of the service to which we subscribe by registering on the HiTBTC platform
Do I recommend HiTBTC service to my friends and relatives? Definitely YES.
Best wishes from Yakov R.

HitBTC is a THIEF. They have held Everyone’s Coins hostage (Dogecoins in my case) and while you can deposit and buy coins, you can not withdraw them. They claim it’s under maintenance… My HitBTC account has been saying that for the last 3 MONTHS… Scam Artists. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS. Plenty of reputable platforms out there.
HITBTC SCAM - SINCE 3 YEARS
Since I replaced my mobile phone with a new one in 2018, I reset my phone without getting the backup code.
Because of this mistake I made, I sent a reset e-mail in October 2018 and they still couldn't do the reset since then... Believe me, even though I sent everything in detail and repeatedly, the result was still not reached. The last time I sent an email to reset it was 4 months ago, and I was very attentive to their new requests. Since I fulfilled all their requests, they started not responding to my e-mails anymore. who will become new members or become members of the HITBTC site, you can see that there are hundreds of complaints about HITBTC here.
As a member with more than 20 Exchange Markets, If you are a hard earner like me...
Do not keep your savings on the HITBTC site anymore, do not be scammed like us.

If I could rate as 0 stars it would still be too high!
Following on from my previous review I am still waiting for my 2FA to be reset. I have (yet again) sent through the required photographs and evidence of identity am I am starting to think my information is being used illegally as part of other SCAMS or possibly identify theft. I strongly recommend to stay away from HitBTC

No doubt hitbtc is Scam exchange. No actual address, no contact number. Faceless shadowy exchange. Everyone is welcome to deposit money or cryptocurrency there. once you attempt to withdraw your account is restricted and you are forced to go through KYC. After submitting all they want then comes the question of source of funds. For long time traders with hundreds of deals over the years to dig the requested information about source of funds for the cryptocurrency deposited is impossible. This scam backdating the so called consent that we imply by opening account there. Consent to be subject to scrutiny under AML but that is the trap. Because it has to be done prior to allowing anyone onboard. If source of funds not established then refuse entry. Just like STEX exchange. Scam hitbtc allows you in to entrap you and this way holds your property illegally and without authority. Just like a pirate. Stay clear of Hitbtc and be safe.
