Hive Security Limited 

Hive UK have emailed all their customers to say their security cameras will stop working in three years. This wasteful decision is allegedly to help their company achieve their green aims. Replacing working equipment is not a sustainable decision. People have spent hundreds of pounds only to be told the equipment will be useless. DO NOT BUY HIVE EQUIPMENT.

My indoor hive camera stopped working a few days ago and I was unable to get it working again, even after a reset.Just a white flashing ring. It was consistently loosing the Wi-Fi in the time that I had it but always eventually reconnected,even though every other appliance in my house had no problem connecting. However I had a Hive outdoor camera which I purchased some time ago which never worked outdoors! I tried to set it up but it just wouldn’t connect to the Wi-Fi either. I reset it up a few inches from my sky router and it connected. So the moral of this story seems to be Hive cameras are totally useless. I have most of my house connected to Hive products not had many problems, but buying these two cameras have been a total waste of time and money.

I like the hive gadgets got most of them , bulbs / heating app / water app … however the indoor camera has stopped working . And I can’t afford to replace and I hadn’t had it that long . Doesn't recommend :-(

Received my order on a Wednesday, which was missing one camera. Used their chat to explain the issue. It took me 3 days of chat and 7 different operatives (some of whom just closed the chat down on me) to eventually get my complaint across. I have managed now to get the complaints tel number. Have emailed them also showing my order and the items they have sent me, took pictures to prove that it was impossible to pack the missing camera into the box they sent everything to me in. Have been made to feel as though I have stolen the camera that they never sent. So customer service absolutely terrible before I have even started. Will be sending what they have sent back for a full refund.

I wrote a review yesterday regarding problems with my outdoor security camera and received a reply asking me to contact Hive via open chat...this I did today starting conversation at 16.11 after a few questions and suggestions at 16.29 I was told by the person they would need to carry out some troubleshooting which would only take 2 to 3 minutes I finally disconnected the message at 16.50 after no communication so problem not solved!

Excellent service, Matthew & Nick very helpful, took time,with patience, to explain the workings of the system. Also, work carried out in a neat & tidy manner.

Great service and great support even when we thought there was a problem they tried to get us working again and it was a plug out of our router which was our fault thanks for all your help

I was really not sure about what type if alarm to get. When I called Hive Security they were professional and extremely helpful and knew what they were doing. I go back with so mamy questions and they are always answer them.

Very pleasant guys and did a good job. I now have a great video intercom system.

Hive installed CCTV cameras at my business premises and i was impressed with their customer service skills, from my initial enquiry to the full installation everything was explained to me, the price was good, the two guys installing the equipment were on time, efficient and did the job then cleaned up after themselves, tested and demonstrated/trained me on the equipment.
I would recommend Hive Security to anyone wishing to have security equipment installed, a first class company and i have already recommended to friends.

The guys came and installed some cameras on my mother's house. They were really friendly and professional, worked incredibly fast and did exactly what I asked. They explained everything to me and showed me how to use all the equipment and it was all for an excellent price. Would definitely use again and would recommend.
