Im giving this a 3 star because i like the interface. i need to know please do sellers on here allow the trade of USA flats for bitcoins? i read somewhere that HH does not support trades done in America.

The website is bad. Constantly needs captcha check after 3 clicks, email notifications not working most of the time. But its the one with biggest liquidity, lot of settings, the trade is smooth.

The company has "safety controls" which helps scammers and new users have a lot of difficulty to use it. The guide rules are not clear and you must take a lot of care to not be scammed. Besides it, it's easy to some one block or ban you if you are a new user. Only old users sounds to have goods opportunity. My worst experience with P2P methods.

First buyer cancelled my contract, said he had no money in his account...
Use buyers with hundreds of past confirmed contracts will enable good service.
Offer multiple sell or buy contracts.

I recommend engaging with users that have a good reputation and many deals.

It seems they only support btc trading. I ask my vendor for contact in chat box and receive a threatening email saying " sharing contact information is strictly prohibited ". Makes no sense knowing many vendors have their contact displayed.

As a first time p2p crypto purchaser I went to hodl because of the reviews ive heard online. I ran into a user that took advantage of this being my first p2p transaction and lead me through paying him without escrow. I followed instructions and never received my BTC. I sent several emails to hodl support with no response whatsoever. Bringing the same evidence to wise brought them to ban his account because he is a scammer. I do NOT recommend using hodl if you are an average person doing a transaction; if something goes wrong they will NOT help, and they will blatantly ignore you. It has been 5 months without email or action on hodl's part.

I've made several successful transactions on HH, but I've had more transactions that have to canceled due to the seller being a scammer or a time waster.

I understand it can be hard to prevent scammers, but allowing a chat box before the seller escrows their btc only facilitates the scammers in swindling noobies. And for some reason the buyer has to agree to the transaction three times before it's sent to the seller.

Also, admin needs to set a time limit for the seller to accept the transaction. I've had to cancel several transactions due to hours going by and the seller never accepting the contract. I'm currently 19 hours into a transaction with no headway being made. But if I cancel it to move on to a seller that will actually respond, I get penalized. That needs to change.

With a few small changes this platform could be a decent exchange with less fraud. For now though, it can be very frustrating and clunky to use.

well hodle hodle is not that trustworthy as seller often ask you to send fund to links or ask you to do KYC without telling you at the beginning. is some kind of misleading which doesn't tell u the real condition . one the reportable seller [ nativedory402 ] sent me 2 seprate link as wise account but both were rejected by wise and warn me that the link is scam . can u belive he send me a scam link on hodl hodl and claim he is long term seller on hodl hodl . if hodl hodl is truly a non KYC so why woould i send my bank or wise details on screen shot for seller ?

I use it regularly for buying and selling. Here are 3 tips I recommend after dozens and dozens of trades. 1. Try a small amount first. 2. Follow all the instructions from the platform and the seller or buyer. 3. ONLY USE BUYERS AND SELLERS WITH MANY MANY 5 STAR RATING. If you wish to find me on there, my user is TrumpWon.

is a complete scammer, he will ask you to send like 30-50 euro/gbp/usd to test if the wire will be sent or block, even though he didn't send any BTC to the Escrow, he will ask a print screen to see that you need it, and then will cancel the transaction and escape, and you cant complain to admin because you send before the funds were in escrow

I used it a lot and I'm very satisfied with the service. Trust and safety. I would only suggest, if it's possible, to implement another cheaper network like lighning or BEP20 if possible to save in fees.

They ban account without reasoning and steal your coins.
