Holafly over Neuchatel

The moment I landed in Geneva, Switzerland, I noticed my 5G was gone. Shame on me, I didn't know standard EU SIMs wouldn't work over there.

I found out about Holafly and was quite surprised by how easy it was to install and use. The overall process took me less than 10 minutes (and it could have been even less, but I wanted to take my time and read everything carefully).

The price tag was VERY good compared to standard roaming charges, and the connection was highly stable.

Why not 5 stars? I'm afraid that in the Neuchâtel region, the connection speed felt more like 3G than expected. I couldn't make video calls or download videos, and streaming from YouTube was borderline impossible.

That said, I'm not sure if the mountains were to blame, and I have to take that into consideration since this was my very first experience with Holafly and eSIMs.

Overall, it's a really solid service if you want to stay connected and avoid the risk of being digitally stranded.

The e-sim for my Donaudelta river…

The e-sim for my Donaudelta river cruise functioned fine. However I noticed too late that Serbia was not included and this is to remember when purchasing the Europe Tarif data package.

It was an excellent service

It was an excellent service! I just downloaded the digital eSIM and activated in the plane before arriving to the country (I desactivated my current SIM card). Once in the country, the data was realiable and I could use as many data as I wished. Definitively, I will use it again. Thank you!

Helpful eSIM experience

Shanique was amazingly helpful. I had purchased an eSIM and installed it but somehow could not find it on my phone when I arrived in Italy. Shanique was so patient and guided me through all of the information - sometimes more than once. Thank you so much Shanique. 😊
