BEWARE

BEWARE! They are selling fake products. I bought a product and could immediately tell it was fake based on the consistency. I emailed them and they said I could return it and asked me to send it back and record a video of the fake product next to the real one and I did. And then they ghosted me and never sent me the refund. DO NOT BUY!

Not authentic product, awful customer service

Holahu is a total scam.

Over Memorial Day weekend, I placed an order through their website, thinking I was taking advantage of a good holiday sale. The price seemed unusually low but everyone was having sales, so I proceeded. I used my credit card for the purchase, but noticed afterward that the charge was processed via PayPal to an individual named *Duong Huy, which raised some red flags.

The product arrived via Gold 5Star Logistics from Corpus Christi, Texas. Upon inspection, I immediately noticed a spelling error on the packaging. I checked the official manufacturer's website and noticed the packaging and branding didn’t match. There were several inconsistencies that suggested the item might not be authentic.

Following the return instructions provided on the Holahu website, I mailed the product back to the address in Lewisville, TX—paying for return shipping myself—and sent the tracking number via email.

I was told that their “payment gateway” was limited and they could not issue a refund and could I provided my Zelle or bank information for a direct bank transfer. I told them that I was not comfortable giving my bank account, routing number and/or Zelle info to someone I don't know through email. I asked instead for a refund via check or another secure method, like back to my credit card. Their response? They said they were based in Canada and therefore couldn’t send a check or cash.

As a business owner and former Canadian resident, I know none of this is standard nor secure practice, and I declined. When I pushed back about a refund, I was accused of being uncooperative, aggressive, hard to deal with and not willing to accept a refund. I then received multiple messages that were rude and threatening. (See their comment below in response to me posting this review).

Not surprising, the product was returned to me because the address provided on their website for returns was undeliverable. I was then cussed out and my family threatened, (again, see their comment below), for not returning the product.

This experience has been extremely disappointing and stressful and I feel stupid. I knew something didn't seem right. If a deal seems too good to be true—especially online—it probably is.

I hope this helps others avoid a similar situation

He was refunded for the broken product, yet he went on to call my business a scam. Very disappointing behavior.
