My claim is a pittance, likely because of the stupid advice you gave via email when I was injured and requiring assistance. Your claims handler Collinson is also late in settling the pitiful amount. Won’t buy insurance from you again.
On the email holidaysafe sent to me following this review, I am just speechless as to how stupid the company is. I have already made my claims and it was messed up by a similarly stupid email when the accident happened. I am just going to reproduce their latest response here and let their next potential customer be the judge of whether if you can trust their product to help you when an accident really happens..
(Btw, no one contacted me… and I can’t figure out whether if they have registered in their brains that a claim was already made)

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review on Trust Pilot and I am sorry to learn you have had trouble with your claim.
I note your comments about the information given to you via email. I understand at this point, you had not sought medical treatment and so at that stage, there would be nothing to claim. However, if you did later seek medical attention, the Claims and 24 Hour Assistance Team would be on hand to assist and you would need to contact them.
That being said, I have referred this to the claims department and asked they review your claim and contact you accordingly.

My trip was cancelled so I tried to cancel my insurance but it gave me the answer “there is nothing to cancel” so I was unable to cancel it. Money wasted!

I won't be using this company again (very sadly).
I won't be using this company again, which is a shame as their systems have always been very good in the past. I am a returning customer, I put in my details which have not changed since last year and the system "could not find any products" for me after making all the standard declarations. What a waste of time particularly as I am a long standing existing customer! There is an option for a callback but clearly their risk assessment algorithm has changed and they are now in the business of only offering insurance to ideal customers, which I fully appreciate is their choice. That's 30 minutes of my day I won't get back but at least I have insurance to cover this with my bank and thought I would let other existing customers know about this experience.

Holidaysafe is my "go to" insurance provider. I have used them on a number of occasions. The online application is simple and quick even with the medical declaration I had to include. Cost is competitive and even though the proof of any insurance is only truly measured when you need to make a claim I feel confident I made the right choice.

i went into my account,found a quote…
i went into my account,found a quote for the year 26/27.accepted it.8 hrs later i received an email from you saying there was a quote for 26/27 in my account-to use it i needed to add any pre existing conditions.
so what was in the quote?
i would have expected the quote to be for 26/27,and requiring any changes from 25/26.
it would appear to be blank-containing only my name and address.
i can nolonger open it to check-it says i have brought it and will not open.
