A great organisation that campaigns for the common man.
Right wingers won't like it though-why would they with their selfish views?

I, in common with the majority of people, don’t feel that my views are taken into account by the powers that be; 38 Degrees makes me feel that my views and those of like-minded people can have at least a small impact. They, or perhaps I should say we, have had a number of successes with our campaigns.
The organisation strives to create a fairer, more just and tolerant society. They have been campaigning tirelessly on issues that are close to my heart such as the NHS, the private water fiasco and the environment generally, not to mention the lack of funding for various public services.

This company highlights world affairs that are not covered by mainstream news and current affairs programmes. The work that 38 Degrees does is important to our understanding of current ongoing politics and events worldwide.

They are always looking to make the world a kinder, fairer, more inclusive, less divided and more sustainable place.
They consult their supporters in a respectful manner and take note of their views and opinions.
They are an independent force for good in a world where money, greed and intolerance are trying to take over.

I think it is so important for individuals to have a platform where their views together with those of like minded people are able to make a difference . Together we can do great things. 38 Degrees gives us that opportunity. Also it helps bring our attention to issues which should be so important for all of us.

I went looking online for a petition to sign regarding the Post Office scandal and found 38 degrees.

They are one of the main vehicles powerful, for making some difference and holding power to account.

It allows me to support those issues that are important to me.

38 Degrees allows me to express my opinions on a multitude of topics. I am free to agree or disagree. I can support petitions with confidence.
I am asked to help guide the trends and topics and methods of protest by question and answer .
As an older person I am not harassed for money but I feel I can connect with like minded people and feel part of a larger community. Thank you.

38 degrees keeps me informed and involved in campaigns that deal with politics and sustainable issues that really matter. It gives hope that I can actually make a difference in things that I might otherwise feel hopeless about.

This organisation is a beacon of positive action in a weary world. I would recommend anyone to follow and support them.

Campaigns relate to current issues and it's apparent from media reference (sometimes oblique) that people power can influence decision making in the UK, thus enabling a say that is democratic and inclusive.

This is an important service to bring matters that are unjust to the governments attention. The campaigns vary greatly but all of them have an importance for our population. Whether it be protecting the NHS, protecting ridiculous plans by the government to make the poorer worse off by lining their own pockets or trying to reverse previous plans that are again unfair. They do great work and have great successes so please sign their petitions, it doesn’t cost anything and only takes a minimal amount of time.

38degrees strive to create a fairer, environmentally-friendly and happier place for us all to live in. Anything that could be considered controversial, they ask us for our opinion first before launching a campaign. Campaign all have references attached so that people can get more information. They also strive to get people's reasons why they don't sign a petition. If people disagree with this highly democratic system, I would suggest they have a hidden agenda which probably serves their own self-interest. I hope I'm wrong.

Great voice for rational activists. 38Degrees is controlled by its members, who are fully consulted on all campaigns. Unlike political parties, comments are not stifled for deviating from the current party line, but are free to initiate new campaigns and petitions.
For those who value responsible, considerd comment this forum is rich in well-informed discussion and action.

38 Degrees is a sight with like minded indeviduals that by getting together try to right the inequalities of this life. Because I am disabled I am only able to sign a petition, but others can take further acion like attending meetings and so forth . occasionally I donate but because I am a disabled pensioner I cannot do this every time I eant to. signing petitions and making small donations now and again makes me feel like I am helping in a small way. When we have a win I rejoice when we lose I am always boyed up by the encouraging emails thatI receive. Go on give it a go read a few emails see how they make you feel if by chance you don't like it unsubscribe. I encourage every body to just read a few emails and see if you agree with any of thier causes.

I've been subscribing to 38 Degrees for some years and, most of the time, I find its attitudes very much in harmony with mine. I sign a lot of petitions as a result!

Brilliant organisation! It provides you with the option to support (or ignore) many matters that are of concern. Thus you can influence the way that things are run in the hope of achieving improvements.
