They showed me a discount of $38.99…

They showed me a discount of $38.99 from $59.99 back in March of 2024 to use on Windows 7 just after I bought it with in 10 minutes of buying it I tried to get a refund it wrote all sales final. Then I planned to not install it I did not want to let the time expire at this great sales price there was no warning of anything to go wrong until I installed it would not let me install it that I was using Windows 7 they had the nerve to take more money out of my Bank account to have buy more when they knew I had Windows 7 I had invoices of 2024 and 2025 they told me to get a refund from Sophos and Sophos wanted me to get it from Cleverbridge however these people are thieves too.

They wrote this near the 4th and 5th email:

I like it so much better then smoothwall…

I like it so much better then smoothwall it does its job properly and I would do anything to have sophos baco over this inadequate irrelavant usless extention called smoothwall which is some ling ling bejing data collecter if you agree with me leave a review on smoothwall remember to speak form heart and truthful ;)

Super value and super smooth service :-)

I have used Sophos on my Macs since 2014, first the free version but since 2019 the very reasonably priced Sophos Home. After moving to MacOS 14, I had a problem getting Sophos to work on my wife's computer, but that issue was solved quickly and competently by the Sophos support team. Really excellent service - much better than what we often get for much higher priced software. Well done Sophos :-)

It's just Malware for Mac products...

The Sophos website aggressively promises antivirus solutions for Mac products, but it's been a nightmare since the moment I download it. It does not recognize my email or allow me to login. It does not allow me to add a license key to activate the service. It repeatedly asks me to create new accounts and pay again and again. Every time I start my MacBook I get a cumbersome splash screen requiring that I login to Saphos, but it displays an error when I follow the link. And finally, it does not allow me to remove the application or avoid the ubiquitous prompts. This is worse than any malware I could have envisioned on my MacBook.

UPDATE: In response to this review, Sophos sent me a generic link to their Help pages. The link required a login, which again failed.

Slow and inconsistent startup

Computer seems very slow to boot up and inconsistent. Feedback from Sophos is rarely observed.

Sophos Home Premium security alerts

Software continually stopped working with various coloured shields appearing in the Sophos menu saying that security preferences needed to be enabled. This was something of a false positive as everything was enabled as originally setup. Sophos network filter was continually blocking access to the internet. I tested this by resetting Sophos in activity monitor in macOS. After which I could connect to websites but only for a short time then network filter would block internet access again. There was no support for any of the issues going on with Sophos during this time other than to say that Sophos are trying to fix the issues at hand with various coloured shields showing up. Because we have no piece of mind anymore that our devices are being protected and the constant blocking of the internet, as well as the high impact the Sophos Home Premium was having when working on my Macbook Pro with Monterey macOS we have switched to a new antivirus software.

I've been using Sophos Home on an iMac, MacBook Air and a Windows 10 laptop for nearly two years now without being affected by any malware or other nasty stuff. It was good also, the way the Uk company warned about the Mac Monterey to Ventura update requiring another little module to be included under Apple's Security and Privacy settings. Regular updates seem to occur to the app and/or it's list of items to watch out for. Keep up the good work folks.

I am an old senior

I am an old senior, and not to swift on this type of performance, what I do know is I had/have no problems in the last few years since I had/have Sophos on my MacOSX
I have had an old friend/employee staying with me for the last few months and he has been roaming the internet and I do believe I have a few gremlins roaming around in my Mac because it sure seems slow in performance now.( My next payment is due ? )

Sophos Home Anti-virus - A Great Choice

We have used Sophos home anti-virus products for several years. I appreciate that there is very little user input required to keep the system protected. Sophos works in the background, and updates itself regularly without any user input. Of course it provides very strong protection for our devices.
