Seller stalled reimbursement of broken article over 6 months
I bought a plant pot from Mica Decorations on home24, which arrived broken in half. I reached out to the seller with pictures of the broken pot and communicated on multiple occasions to obtain a refund. Despite repeated reassurances from the seller that they were handling the case and that I would have my refund, the money was never returned. I even had to reopen the case because it was closed in the meantime (although it had not been solved). I also could not communicate with the seller directly over the platform for some reason. This setup opens the door wide open to sellers scamming customers, as home24 leaves customers alone with the sellers, and fraudulent communication is not persisted on the platform for home24 to intervene on behalf of their customers.
