I found out the hard way that Angi is only worried about their profit, NOT the customers. My contract with Angi was for $280 a month of leads. First I wasn’t getting the correct amount of leads then... See more

I spent about a year using Angi’s list and canceled it because it was not working. I was spending money on leads and they were bad. I was then contact Angi ads and decided to give it a try. It has been a TOTAL waste of money. I spent $500 per month and over the past 9 months I’ve spent $4500 and gotten 2 jobs. I called them to try and cancel and they refused. In addition to this they have increased the amount of contractors that they send leads to. I could not be more frustrated.
The last several ads have been bogus. The phone number is not associated with the name on the lead and when I do actually get a live person they are mad because they received so many phone calls. I spoke with Angi and they refuse to let me out of the contract. This is a complete rip off.

I used Marble Care San Diego all other marble guys asked to send pictures Joe came to my home to see what he could do.
His price was great and his workmanship sealing and polishing our marble countertop and shower floor and sealing grout were a perfect color match. A family business here in San Diego, Orange County and Palm Springs do not contact any other marble guy!

DESIGNERS BEWARE!!!! THIS COMPANY IS A BUNCH OF FRAUDULENT LEADS ADVERTISING. THERE REPS ARE A BUNCH OF LIARS TELLING YOU TO UP YOUR CAMPAIGNS TO GET BETTER RESULTS, ABSOLUTELY NO LIABILITY FOR THEIR BUSINESS RELATIONS FOR SMALL TIME BUSINESS OWNERS!!!! THEIR LEADS ARE NEVER HIGH-END CLIENTS AND THE LEADS RARELY ARE SERIOUS!!! THEY ALSO DO NOT COMMUNICATE AT ALL WITH THERE DESIGNER CLIENTS

HomeAdvisor was amazing!! Angi took over and now it is awful. I can never get contractors to call me or setup estimates. Its a terrible service. Try NextDoor or Yelp!

This company is fraudulent. They lie they screw you out of your money left and right. The employees don’t know how the company works. All I can say is beware, beware, don’t use them. They were sued in a 2023 class action suit. Big mistake going with this company!

I had been using Home Advisor for my company, took a break and joined Angi about 4 months ago. I feel like Home Advisor results were much better than what I am seeing with Angi. With Home Advisor I would speak to a real person at least 75% of the time. Most of the leads that come through now via Angi I never hear anything back from, even with reaching out via phone and via that app...they mostly seem like fraud. Phone numbers that go direct to Voicemail, but with no name attached to the Voicemail (Who does not put a personal message on their cell phone recording?). I text via the app and rarely get any response. Sometimes when I get sent to Voicemail and do get an actual person's name the name does not match the name on the lead. Most likely going to cancel with Angi as they are taking my money and giving me nothing!

I have been with Angie leads formally homeadvisor since 2018. This company has taken thousands of dollars from me, charging me for leads that are bad leads and they won’t credit me the leads back. Angie leads needs to be regulated by some government entity their business practices are unethical and they shouldn’t be able to get away with doing This to contractors. This is my last straw. I have hired a new company where the leads are $75.00 a lead and all my leads are exclusive and I will get credits back on the leads when they are bad. Angie leads/ homeadvisor has been in lawsuits for these deceptive practices. Find another company to buy leads from Angie’s list will never credit your money back and there’s nothing you can do.
***Update their reply to my review was nothing less but offensive. Let strategize to help you see more success from leads haha look at my reviews on your platform when I actually get a lead on the phone and scheduled appointment I can close the lead which is probably 1 lead out of 10 at 200$ a lead let that sink in. I have Maintained a 5 star reputation on angi leads and google for over 10 years. You can’t maintain a positive review for less than 2 days. My business practices are more reliable then your entire business of over probably 2000 employees and that’s an understatement and I am 1 salesman to my self owned company 1 guy is outranking your business in reviews and you guys have been in business longer than I have. Let’s strategize together angi/ home advisor to make your leads better how about that I could make you more money Than your lousy entire employee workforce me alone I know exactly how to solve your problems and I could 10,000x your negative review base with positive reviews. Your employees are just number pushers that don’t care about customer satisfaction they main goal is to save frustrated customers like me from closing their account and keep leads coming in ask me how I know I have spent more time on angi customer service than my phone time with customers leads you have sent me. Shall I keep going? Lol just remember me a 33 year old is outranking your company in positive reviews for over 10 years why do you think I stopped sending my customers to angi leads to leave me reviews because I am pulling away from your platform slowly like I said I would 5 years ago.

Angi Leads intentionally will leave out key details when trying to get you to sign up. You will be entering a contract and be on the hook for 12 months. If you cancel early you will be charged for the remaining amount left on the 12 month contract. The only way they will help is by trying to convince you not to cancel. Wasted 2k and maybe made a couple hundred from jobs. Do yourself a favor and advertise with Google.

Scam!! After spending $1000 or more and getting nothing from it you will cancel like me and wish you never signed up! They make it impossible to end monthly subscription. Highly suggest avoiding

DO NOT USE ANGI LEADS! SCAMMERS. My account had been inactive for months and they randomly charge me $160 and I call for a refund and “they don’t do refunds” when I had not been using any of their services for 4 months! All this After I already gave them $750 and only used $200 of it!! I had to dispute with my bank and now it is a big to do. Save yourself the trouble! They are scammers!

You get 1 good lead for every 10 leads u get.custemer services is no help.barely speak English. They tell u they will look into the lead and possibly give us credit for that bad lead.but they never do.even if it's not a task u even do.there basically just stealing ur money.

Place is a scam. They won’t refund you back your money. The leads are a joke. One of the worst investments I have made, lessons learned. All the customer service people sound like robots and all repeat themselves. Do not sign up to the place. 750 down the drain

The app is filled with glitches in customer service is a joke. They were mediocre my first season, but this is our second season with them, and there are so many glitches in the app. Their response is to tell me to go through the computer. I can’t make phone calls from the computer. A lot of times the phone number doesn’t actually go through. I call it and it immediately hangs up. I was denied credit because it says I didn’t call the customer. When I spoke with customer service, they just told me I need to accept these problems and decide if it’s worth continuing.

As far as using angi or homeadvisor as a lead services it’s horrible lies by everyone in the company. They tell you one thing and its the exact opposite. If you do your research you ll relize theyve been fined for millions for robbing guys just trying to earn a living and lock you into contracts. Its sad how these companies prey on honest people.

That would give you lead where you got no answer and they would not give you credit
Customer service was terrible
The only people they were interested with themselves
I told him yesterday to take their service and stick it where the sun don’t shine

I want to warn you about a company. If they call you, it's best to run away and not get involved. They are dishonest. At first, they kept calling me, and I ignored them. But then I decided to listen to the salesperson. It sounded good, and they acted like everything was real. They promised to keep me busy with leads.
In the first month, they gave me 6 leads, but none of them were real. When I called those customers, they had no idea what I was talking about. It seemed like the company created fake leads just to take my money. So, I ended up with 0 jobs and had to pay them $665. In the second month, I had 0 jobs again and paid another $665.
When I told them I didn't want to continue, they wanted to charge me 30% to cancel, which was $2560.25. I want to tell everyone that the best way to stop companies like this is to file a complaint. You can go to your state's attorney general and report them, and be sure to provide all your evidence.

Terrible company, as a business owner I would not recommend. I put a $750 credit line down when I first started using Angie in 6 months our company got 2 jobs and 5 legitimate calls. The rest were all scam some were credited back some were not. After finally getting my account canceled they still charged me for 2 separate leads that we didn’t receive. It’s a waste of money and the customer service is terrible. If it would let me give less than a one star review I would.

My experience with Angie has been nothing but horrible. From the sales person who promised the world and provided a completely negative ROI. Do not trust what you are being told. All they care about is your monthly money and your results are the least of their concern.

This company has the worst customer service second to Verizon. Please understand, if you enjoy spending more money each month on an ad then what you actually earn on that ad, Angies leads is for you.....Its a scam folks.....
