Service HomeToGo/Travelstation/Interhome insufficient

Carnac and the surrounding area are fantastic. Only positive experiences. However, booking through Hometogo/Travelstation/Interhome was a huge disappointment. Interhome is now part of Hometogo, and Travelstation handles the payments. It's just very confusing, and you often don't know who to contact. The terms and conditions aren't always clear. For example, you have to contact Interhome separately for internet access, paying separately per day. Only on Sundays is there no one to tell you. Furthermore, the internet connection is poor, even though you have to pay separately for it. It's all very sloppy. The apartment wasn't really clean, and there were quite a few defects. My wife and I didn't enjoy renting through Hometogo/Travelstation/Interhome. Fortunately, Carnac and the surrounding area are fantastic, and that made our stay very enjoyable.

Very nice location, but not very clean

We loved the view from the garden on the lake. Also we loved that there was a private entrance tot the lake for swimming. We loved the garden.
But the house was not very clean. In the kitchen, the extractor hood and lamps were very dirty, sticky. To bad that the bbq was to dirty to use.
The bedroom were my son slept was very moist, it smelled like funges and he had trouble breathing. There was only one small window. Under his bed was dirty underwear from the former guest. So you have to pay for cleaning, but it was not very clean.

We have left the owner a letter in our best Italian and we hope he will do something about it.

HomeToGo/e_domizil cancelled my booking & I'm obliged to pay 80% of the total rent!!
I booked a villa and I paid the deposit. Later after 3 months e_domizil sent me reminder for the payment. But since I booked the villa via HometoGo, I missed the emails from e-domizil (for me it was unknown). 3 weeks before our trip I got an email that my booking is cancelled and I have to pay 80% of the total rent!!
I sent many emails and called the call center for help. I wanted to pay immediately to fix the issue.
But the answer from help desk was:
"In fact the villa is still free in your requested period but the landlord doesn't want to rent it and also he asks for the cost of cancellation which is 384€!!"
Tell me please if this is not called SCAM then what it should be called. Why should I pay the cancellation cost while I am not the one who cancelled the reservation but e-domizil?
I had very good experience with different travel companies like Booking.com, Airbnb , ... never had any problem.
Is there any appropriate marketing model here or any logic to be explained?
I don't recommend this platform to anybody who would like to book a travel destination smoothly without any stress.

E-Domizil will send the payment reminder three times before the booking is canceled.

Booked an apartment with Terrace and Sea view. La Pardela, Mogán, Canary Islands.

Booked an apartment with Terrace and sea view in Gran Canaria.
Let me start positively, the kitchen is brand new and the balcony is beautiful. I was very excited about the apartment when I saw it online. However, any thing else was not as we expected; it was very difficult to find because the house number was not indicated, we had to check in ouselves an had to ask local people if they knew where it was(it was around 10 o'clock at night).
The apartment is very noisy, if someone coughed in another house you could hear it loud and clear.
There was a cockroach in the bedding, there were stains on the towels, bed linen and sofa. There also were two camera's, one near the living room and one near the bathroom door. This made us feel very uncomfortable.
And then the bathroom, it was filthy, there were still poop remains in the toilet, there was mold in the shower cabin and on top of that we had no running water! The next morning we checked again, but there was still no running water.
We slept in the garden chairs the first night and booked another hotel the next day. It was horrible.

I let someone from the house know this by mail, this was the respons I got:
'Today I spoke to the cleaning team and they told me that the cleaning was fine, that all the water taps are working fine. I think that suddenly yesterday there was a water cut scheduled by the town hall for a repair of someting and we were not informed. But the flat has water. I am really sorry you leave the property witout even calling'

That's not the respond i wanted to have at all. We didn't even got an apology, only that everything was "fine" but it certainly was not.
I have asked several times for a solution or to get (a part of) my money back since we were only there for a few hours, but there was no respons.
Today(we have already been back home for 10 days) I still have not even received my deposit back.

I don't recommend it.

Oplichters! Ik heb 2 x verhuurd via de site maar nog steeds niks uitbetaald gekregen. Ben nu al 6 weken in contact met home to go om dit probleem op te lossen. Na 3 weken kreeg ik bericht:

You will need to provide the following information:
- Branch Code
- Currency Type
- Account Type
- Account Number

Specify the code of the branch where the bank account is registered in. Provide the corresponding value based on the country.

Note: The name and country provided for a bank account must match the name and country on the account holder.

When you upload a bank statement, it must meet the following requirements:

- Allowed formats: JPEG, JPG, PDF.
- Minimum allowed size: 1 KB for PDF, 100 KB for other formats.
- Maximum allowed size: 4 MB.
- No maximum on the number of pages for PDF.

The document needs to contain the following information:

- Bank logo or bank name in a unique font.
- Bank account details.
- Name of the account holder.

Alles aangepast en weer afgekeurd, ben elke dag aan het mailen weer geen reactie. Als ik bel met home to go kunnen ze me niet helpen is namelijk alleen voor gasten die boeken niet voor verhuurders moet via mail en je raad het al... juist die reageert niet.

Moet nu elke x mijn boekingen annuleren vervelend voor de gasten maar ook voor mij! Ik sta op t punt mijn account te verwijderen!

Unacceptable accomodation via HomeToGo…

Booked an accomodation via HomeToGo last summer in Copenhagen. The studio we booked was nicely advertised but turned out to be a great dissapointment. Definitely not fit for commercial rent. To list a few of the shortcomings: Overall dirty, No electricity, Stove not working, Matrasses were black and yellow stained all over, Bathroom really dirty, Toilet black stained and gross, No Wifi, Wiring was left in a dangerous state and the list continous. Immediately after arrival I objected to this, but no adequate solution was offered by HomeToGO/partner.

As our booking agency HomeToGo has not yet been succesful in dealing with this. After months of sending requests and reminders no noticable action has taken place. Refund and compensation was deemed to be valid, but no results as to date.

All in all a very dissapointing part of our holiday and frustrating to experience a lack of adequate service by HomeToGo and its partners.

I would seriously reconsider before using the services of HomeToGo.

Update October 7,2023. Despite the polite reaction on my review from HomeToGo, absolutely no action was taken or reaction was given on the additional info that I provided.

It's a big scam with COVID-19 as it's excuses

It's a big scam. I have made a reservation about two weeks ago for an appartement in Marseille for me and 5 of my friends.

When we got there, the owner claimed that he never got a reservation and doesn't know about anything. Now I am back from my vacation and am still trying to reach these guys, they don't respond to e-mail, phone calls, nothing. Don't bother calling them on any phone number as they put you on hold and never take the call.

It is a big scam with COVID-19 as it's excuse. Everyone just go to another booking site and don't forget to check their reviews, as that was my mistake.
