Scammers

Scammers. Tricked into signing up for a subscription. The trick was having to prove I was over 18 to view an image in the news article, the image was an obscured picture. I clicked the link that advertised the amount taken would be £0, then I still couldn’t see the image, so closed the page.
Fast forward a week and they have taken £24.99. The robbing ba**ards.
Contacted bank straight away, will let the fraud team get my money back.

I’ve been tricked by a third party company into signing up to this

I’ve been tricked by a third party company into signing up to this, under the pretence it was an image that was blurred out due to sensitive content. As I understand it most sites need age and identity verification, so thought it was this.
I was reading an article on the Independent newspapers media website about illegal selling of glue traps in the United Kingdom. Looks like I’ll have to contact bank to stop the payment. Or do I use chargeback.

Possible scam

This company popped up as a advert during a app game. A few weeks later and £49 was taken out of my account. I reported them straight to my bank.

Do not sign up to this.

Do not sign up to this. The company, if it exists, is not in the US, it is in Cyprus.
Whilst they claim to refund all subscriptions if contacted within 14 days as part of EU law, they have not responded to my right of withdrawal demand. Beware.
