Non existent customer service

This is an addendum to my earlier post. I find this company very dishonest and not transparent about where their products are manufactured. The cost of the product has doubled and this is because it is no longer produced in the States. Thetefire, Teresa the founder is misleading buyers because she is not transparent about the fact that it is produced in China. I do not believe any batana coming from China is actually bonafide from Honduras, as Teresa claims.

Furthermore, she fails to answer any emails requesting refunds. What reputable company treats its customers like this? I have incurred a loss because the majority of batana grom China is fake and not produced in Honduras. This product is going straight in the dustbin.

If you want real bstana donot purchase from this company.

I want my money back!!!

After receiving the Batana oil I immediately knew that it was not authentic raw product. Ive been using the authentic raw Batana oil for years and this is my first time ordering from this company. I am very familiar with how it smells and the texture. I’ve contacted the company several times to request a refund and now they’re completely ignoring me. I am extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with the customer service communication and the product. I didn’t get what I paid for which is authentic raw Batana oil. I received a butter that seems to have had coffee essence/scent added to it. I want all of my money back!!!!

After constantly reaching out to the company for a refund they finally got back in contact with me telling me to send this fake product back. They sent me a return address in china. And told me that I’ll receive a partial refund for because I opened the package. Tell me how else would I be able to test the product without opening it??? I had to open it in order to know if I like it. Asked them to send me a return label or QR code so that I don’t have to spend more money sending the product back and they have not responded. Just send my back why would you want fake product returned???

My HONDURA Hair journey-
June 22: placed the order & received confirmation & order number & that the order was being prepared and I would be notified of the shipping date.
June 29: Reached out to Hondura hair requesting shipping date
June 30: Teresa/Hondura responded saying they’ll provide tracking info when the order has been shipped. Additionally she’s eager to hear my feedback once I receive the product.
July 5: Again I reached out to Honduras requesting a shipping date
July 7: Teresa responded & apologized for the delay, explaining that “the shipment of raw ingredients from Honduras took longer than expected and the entire process became delayed. But the good news was that the batana oil batch is ready & will be shipped soon”
It is to be noted that the order disappeared from the SHOP AP that I use to track all my orders/shipment status from different companies. Additionally unless I reach out to Hondura hair I have absolutely no communication from them.
July 20: I again reach out to Hondura hair requesting a full refund
July 21: Received a response from Teresa informing me that my order was in transit & supplied a link to track the order status. Problem though when I click on the link “click here” it takes to “17TRACK Package Tracker” and gives me information of a package in transit coming from YANWEN-China to the USA. Additionally the shipment re-appears on the SHOP AP but does not give an expected delivery time but says “waiting for details. Who knows if I’ll ever receive this package. My bad, I should’ve placed the order using PAYPAL to ensure a timely refund. Of the few negative reviews Hondura hair always responds with the same prepared statement. Extremely poor customer service and I really do not believe all those positive reviews.

Unprofessional and you don’t get your product

My mom ordered this product on 5/22/2025 and was excited to try this hair care product. It is now 6/21/2025 and no updates nor has her product arrived. This is really bad business only for me to look at other reviews and someone posted having a similar experience with waiting forever for the product to arrive and the lack of communication. Will not ever purchase with this company again it’s taking a really big gamble

Absolutely Terrible Customer Service

Absolutely Terrible Customer Service – Avoid HonduraHair.com!

I placed an order with HonduraHair.com for two Hair Growth Oils on April 4th, and both arrived completely broken and spilled in the packaging. I immediately reached out to customer service and was asked to send photos of the damage—which I did the same day.

On April 8th, they responded saying they were “waiting on logistics for an estimated delivery time.” Since then, I’ve followed up multiple times (April 15th and May 5th) and have been completely ignored. No refund, no replacement, no communication whatsoever.

This level of disregard for paying customers is unacceptable. I’ve been patient and polite, and they’ve done nothing to resolve their mistake. They took my money and left me with a mess and silence.

Do not trust this company. If something goes wrong with your order, you will be left in the dark. I will be reporting this to my bank and filing a claim for a refund. There are plenty of trustworthy small businesses out there—HonduraHair.com is not one of them.

Made my daughter's hair fall worse

Unfortunately this product wasn't good for my daughter. Her hair fall worsened as a result of using it.I have provided photographic evidence of the hair fall. I have reached out to the company and whilst they responded promptly at first, they have not responded to my further email requesting a refund.

Give a try and know for yourself!

I have been using Honduras’s Botana Oil for 4 weeks now and my hair has grown fast since then. My new roots are proof because you can see how far back my newly dyed hair has grown out. My hair feels so soft and healthy, even the blonde colored ends. As you can see many negative comments also here but I don't trust them because I got an awesome experience from Hondura. I wish I would have seen these reviews…

Update! I've received my product. I've been using it this week. We will see.

I wish I would have seen these reviews before I gave them my money. I placed my order on 3/30/25 and I have yet to receive it. They provided a tracking number from Trackit that says it was delivered, not with any particular carrier. I never received it! I was told to "check my mailbox", no matter how many times I say it never came they keep sending me to the "tracking" that states it was delivered. I'm going to contact my bank and tell them to do a charge back. Just sad! I really wanted to try this product. NOW I see it's from China, I may just count my blessings.

I couldn't be happier with my experience ordering from Hondura Hair!
The product arrived little late, but it was worth waiting. It was beautifully packaged, and the quality is beyond exceptional. I’ve tried so many hair oils in the past, but nothing compares to their authentic Batana Oil my hair feels healthier, stronger, and shinier after just a few uses.

Not only is the product top-tier, but the customer service is also outstanding. They were responsive, helpful, and genuinely cared about making sure I was happy with my order. It’s rare to find a company that blends amazing products with real, human customer care these days.

I'm very disappointed

I'm very disappointed. After seeing positive reviews, I ordered on March 17th, but it was sent back to China…..after promoting this product coming from Honduras.

I reached out multiple times with no response until April 11th, when I was told they’d look into it. Once they have your money, customer service disappears.

Be cautious if you buy from them you might end up with nothing. I'm disputing the transaction with my bank since I still haven’t heard back. This experience has felt like a scam.

Avoid at all costs

I spent roughly £70 with this company for a hair oil and 2 jars of apparent batana oil back in December 24. Waited for roughly 2 or so months. I kept emailing asking where my items where and that's when I was told its coming from China due to some nonsense. Think I got the items in march 25 .The pippete in the bottle of oil was broken which I didn't realise so most of the oil fell out when I tried to reach for it in my cupboard. I emailed them to try and tell them along with photos and asked them to send me a replacement for the oil. Theresa totally ignored me and didn't reply once I had actually bought the products. She then had the nerve to send me a parcel with just the pippete. No oil. I emailed her again saying how disgusted I was with her and her behaviour and I still have no had any reply. I felt a bit iffy with the products full stop. Since using the jars of batana oil paste my hair has broken so much when it never did before using it. I decided to look for reviews to see if this company is even real or legitimate because it's only an add on Facebook that takes you to their page.
I am furious. The jars are tiny, the oil smells nothing like the product in the jars in fact it has no smell at all.
Avoid at all costs. If they were half decent they would have replaced my oil or partially refunded me. I truly believe this is a bogus company in China deceiving us as usual with fake products then trying to offer 5% refund. I want my money back!!!....All of it!!!! Oh and Theresa is the only person running this nonsense and she's the one who will reply to you prior to getting your money and then ignore you once she has your money.

UPDATE. Received an email apologising and an offer to either re send the product or offer partial refund. I asked for resend of oil and still recieved nothing other than a tracking number that has not had movement for 3 weeks. I've now asked for partial refund instead and had no response as usual.
UPDATE AGAIN
Recieved an new bottle of oil a few days ago so yes took another month and once again the pippete on the bottle is totally broken . The bit you squeeze is torn from the glass pippete so cannot use. Same as 1st time. I immediately emailed Theresa with photos and once again have had no response. I asked for a partial refund now but I know she will not fulfill

Fake Batana Oil from China!!!

I placed an order with Hondara Hair on January 17, 2024, and received my package on January 27, 2024. After conducting thorough research and reviewing multiple online sources, I discovered that the company sells fake Batana oil from China. Given their 30-day return policy, I attempted to request a refund. I initially received a response from a representative named Teresa, but after the first reply, she ceased all communication.

Due to their unethical business practices and lack of accountability, I strongly advise buying from this company.

I was so looking forward to my too

A pudding like mixture arrived, no ooil only but imitation formula. Tried another site different company, duped again. Will the real oil Dr. Sebi spoke of, truly show up one day or must I just go bald and be happy with it.

Please continue to file chargebacks against this company if they do not respond to their fake Batana. I went back and forth with this company for weeks and no answer.

I bought from this Seller

I bought from this Seller, and needed to return the items because the hair products had a negative effect on my hair. They would not give me a Recipient Name to return the products back, just an address. Then I got paypal involved, since I paid through them. The Seller told Paypal I tampered with all the products so they could not take them back. I had just received 10 jars of their product, after using 1 jar, I immediately notified the Seller. She agreed to the return, but gave me an address for the return but no Recipient Name for the address. I have "ALL" my documentation, and I still loss. I am out of $143.00 for bad products. I am very disappointed with Paypal, they closed my case. I have been with them over 21 years, and they sided with Hondurahair, not me.Teresa should be ashamed of herself for treating people like this. No one from Hondurahair.com is talking to me, "AT ALL". Shameful, I am a Senior Citizen and Trusted them, what a mistake.

Do not buy!!

Do not buy!!! This company is FAKE and their product is FAKE from China. It is a cocktail of perfume. You will never be rich from scamming people. You may have succeeds in scamming me to part with my money but it will never make you rich. I have reported your page to instagram because you are scamming people. These “positive reviews” are FAKE to make you buy this product. DO NOT BUY!!! How can people not see that this is FAKE!! Sadly you will never get your money back. The consistency is like a lotion and has a pale reddish colour, no wonder they are giving 3 for the price. Also if you check their website, no phone number, their return policy does not exist. I am now working with my bank to report this as paypal have been useless to help me get my money back. DO NOT BUY. The positive reviews are fake. This product was shipped to me from China!!!

UPDATE: Your response to my review is useless - look at how long it took you to respond to my complaint Ms Theresa? I contacted you using this email address and you responded that I will not get any refund plus you had the audacity to give me a fake address in China to spend my money to ship a fake product to a fake address in China. Like I said, you will never be rich from scamming people. You are selling toxic products to people. This email address you provided is what you give to make it look like you are a legitimate business but you are SCAM!! I tried to reach you on instagram and you blocked me. DO NOT BUY!!

DO NOT BUY!!! Not authentic Batana Oil!!! And… the money back guarantee is a LIE!!! They want you to send the item back to CHINA at your own expense to get a refund. As much as that would costs, you ultimately get NOTHING back! Horrible product and company! Don’t waste your time. Try a better company who has the genuine product and better service!!!
