Awesome lamp does everything it should and arrived pretty fast will buy again

I love the design of my new lamp. I thought it was going to "light up the entire room," but it's not that kind of lamp. However, it is intensely bright and definitely improves my sewing experience. My one difficulty has been figuring out how to turn it on and off. I finally figured out to slide my hand along the pole, and then I hear a sweet little beep, and the light comes on. I like how I can adjust the intensity with the touch of the two extra buttons. For my purposes and my eyesight, however, the brightest setting is what I want/need! I'm getting used to positioning it so I don't cast a shadow on my work. When I position it on my right side and slightly behind me, I avoid the shadow. The heavy base ensures I won't be knocking it over, yet it's not too heavy for me to move it to different locations within my sewing studio.

This is a great lamp! The on button was/is a little bit temperamental. The power button is working well enough now that I decided not to return/replace it.

Love the function of the light. It is beautiful, will made and easy to operate. I do have one suggestion. Because it illuminates from both top and bottom it is sometimes tough on the eyes when it is used for other than reading. I would give the lamp a 5 score if there were some way to cap the upward light emission when it is not wanted.

The variety and intensity of light adjustments to so closely offset the darkness in the room and provide the most desirable light for reading - great product, great company.

The light is perfect for our room and location by the couch for reading. The quality of light, adjustability of both color and intensity is wonderful. We also like the design with clean modern lines. The remote is a plus, but we find we are using as our main control.

The light from this floor lamp is very comfortable for my eyes and doesn’t cause fatigue easily. The packaging was thoughtful—it even included gloves for assembly. The assembly process was also simple. However, I do wish the lamp’s height were adjustable. It feels a bit too short, and a longer arm would make it more suitable for working on large-scale paintings.
