I am writing this to warn other car owners about the "subscription scam" and unethical practices run by Hoora. They have a recurring pattern of charging for services you never completed or authorized and then refusing to provide actual cash refunds.
The "Hoora Points" Refund Trap:
Instead of returning money to your bank account for failed or disputed services, they convert your cash into "Hoora Points." These points have aggressive expiration dates (some as short as a few weeks). If you don't use them immediately, the company essentially steals your money. I have documented over ₹500 in value lost this way.
Unauthorized Auto-Renewals:
They use an "auto-pay" system to book services without sending a 24-hour prior notification (WhatsApp or App triggers). When you try to cancel these unwanted bookings, they slap you with a ₹100 "late cancellation" fee. Their support representative, Devang, openly admitted on a recorded call that they do not provide these essential notifications.
Service & Property Issues:
Paint Damage: A previous ceramic coating service actually damaged the paint on my Volkswagen Polo.
No-Show Charges: On December 29th, their provider never showed up or called, yet they still charged my account and refused a bank refund.
Their customer service is rigid, unhelpful, and designed to trap your money in their ecosystem. I have filed a formal grievance with the National Consumer Helpline (1915) and will be escalating this to the District Consumer Commission in Indore if my funds are not returned to my original payment source.
Avoid this service at all costs.

Booked Hoora 4 days in a row — no one ever came. Delivery partners falsely marked “guard didn’t allow” even though entry logs show no attempt made.
Instead of refunding to my bank, they forced money into wallet coins, making me rebook — again with no service delivered.
When I posted about it on LinkedIn, Hoora asked me to remove my post in exchange for refund.
That is extremely unprofessional and worrying.
Now they are refusing refund and only offering a re-service, after wasting my time across 4 failed bookings.
Very disappointing experience in terms of reliability, transparency, and customer support.

They were unable to send the service man and they have change the date 2 times.
Finally the service was booked for 08/09/2025 at 12 to 1pm, I waited till 12 no call was made to I went for a shower to get ready and the service man called me twice and I called him within 10 mins but he refused the service and asked to contact Customer care.
I called customer care at 12.30 and informed them about the situation so staff kept me on hold for 20 mins and said she will check and reschedule the booking, I clearly mentioned I don’t want to cancel the service. She agreed and promised for call back before 2 pm.
Promise not kept so I called around 3 pm and the last female mentioned we cannot reschedule the booking and the booking is cancelled
Very bad experience, they scam people with their offers and then they don’t give service keeping your money for 15 days to earn interest.

i was supossed to get 10% discount as i got their membership costing 299 rs , their cost for 2 wash was 932 before membership and after membership it became 1173 and 0 discount was given and bascially its 25% higher price i pay if i get membership. the 1st wash was so bad i sent photos to them and called them almost 20 times no one resolved my issue, and the guy dint show for the second service and they only refunded me 250 instead of 600 rs and no one is responding to emails from their end and customer service always just says they will call back but they never do. will not recommend this to anyone at all.

I booked a car service at home through Hoora for June 29th and paid ₹1055 in advance on June 27th. Later, I realized that the service required access to electricity and water, which wasn’t feasible near my parking area. I contacted customer support to cancel the booking, and they assured me of a full refund within 2–3 days.
It’s now been over 10 days, and I haven’t received the refund. Worse, there has been no response to my emails or WhatsApp messages, and their customer care number is unreachable. This experience has been frustrating and feels like a complete lack of accountability.
I urge others to be extremely cautious before using Hoora’s services. I’m now exploring legal options to recover my money and address the stress caused by this ordeal. Please think twice before trusting this platform with your hard-earned money.
