DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - ILLEGAL BUSINESS PRACTICES

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. EVER. They have spent 5 days being completely incompetent, lying, and making it impossible to get compensation from the airline due to a cancelled international flight and arriving 8+ hours after scheduled. THERE IS A LEGAL RIGHT TO COMPENSATION IN THE EU per EU Air Passenger Rights Regulation No. 261/2004 and not assisting a passenger as required by the airline to submit the claim IS ILLEGAL. Please put me in contact with someone that will actually submit this claim or I will be taking legal action against this company.

My issue was not solved

My issue was not solved. When I got my ticket it didn’t say self transfer bjt the lady who called me told I have self transfer so I asked them to change my ticket cause I was never told self transfer, they gave me no answer

Terrible, too terrible

Terrible. Over 3 years and they did not solve my refund case (the flight was cancelled not because of me), kept saying that it was the airline's fault. 3 years ago I contacted the airline and the airline said that they need the agency Hop2 to talk with them. Seems like Hop2 did nothing since then and at this point they said i could not get a refund due to the expiration of the ticket and said that it was due to the Airline's slow response. Hop2 once provided me with the email address of the airline however when i sent mail to that email address, there was an error- mail can not be sent.

Nightmare experience, terrible Exchange Department!

I recently had an experience with Hop2 that has left me feeling extremely disappointed and frustrated. Despite paying almost $2,000 USD for a flight and an additional $150 USD to have it credited as future flight credit, my flight change request has not been addressed despite calling their customer service line repeatedly for the past three weeks and having tried to make the change for the past 15 months. The lack of attention and assistance I received in resolving this issue was deeply disappointing.

The agent named Braxton was assigned to me but was incredibly hard to contact, rude, and even hung up on me during one of our conversations, I expect a certain level of professionalism and customer service based on the reviews they have on this platform. Unfortunately, the experience I had fell far short of these expectations. It was frustrating and time-consuming, and I felt undervalued and dissatisfied with their service.

Overall, my experience with Hop2 was disappointing, and I cannot recommend their services to others. I hope that they take the necessary steps to improve their customer service and address the issues that led to my negative experience.

I decided to just buy my ticket!.

My name is Paulo. I paid my ticket yesterday 21th March 2023, for me to fly on April 26ht 2023. Before paying, "I read everything that was offered to me", and I decided to just buy my ticket!. Today my phone received a lot of calls, and also text messages from them. "Offering the same things that I had already read, and refused before paying my ticket!". They stopped calling and texting me, only after I sent a text message to the lady named Katie. "Hi Katie!. I already paid my ticket, and I can seat in any seat available on the plane!. Thanks, Paulo". I hope I don't have any more problem, until I make my flight.

Bother your personal number without permission

Tried to book a flight ticket with them. They changed the price twice so I eventually decided to boo through another provider. All of the sudden I started receiving calls and messages from them without my permission. They used my personal mobile number that was requested for the flight booking without my consent. Be aware and stay away!

Communication is key…

Really disappointed in their communications. I had booked in September 2022, a British Airways flight from Heathrow to Toronto and then WestJet, Toronto to Ottawa for May 8, 2023. I found a good rate and then on March 6th, they CANCELLED! It was not their fault it was cancelled, but it is how it was communicated to me. I received an email from Hop2 with this message “Please note there are flight cancellation and changes observed on your booking. Since there are no alternate flights for travel, we can offer cancellation and refund for your flight tickets.” This flight is two days after the Kings Coronation!!!. I was left high and dry! I had to scramble to find another flight, I did not know if it was British Airways or WestJet that was the problem, I emailed Hop2 and no response. It wasn’t until the evening news that I found out it was WestJet cancelling all Toronto/Ottawa flights starting May 1st. Why couldn’t HOP2 offer another flight from Toronto to Ottawa using a different airline? AND Call me?? I ended having to book a flight from Heathrow that bypasses Ottawa flying over my house and lands in Calgary, then spend another 4 hours to get back to Ottawa!

Lies by deceitfull travel agency, be aware dont fall for it. Bait and switch

Facts that led to this complaint.
The purchase of five tickets for a specific itinerary which was changed without consent, by HOP2, and HOP2 communicated via email and provided a link.
Understanding of the link as explained was to show the proposed change, however it was a ruse by HOP2, clicking the link opened a page that was acceptance of the new change, without giving the opportunity to review it.
Since then have contacted the airline who blames HOP2 and vice versa without resolving the issue and accommodating us in a suitable flight.

N I promised to resolve but lied, not willing to resolve and accommodate as requested.

This is the lie:

let me start by saying that I understand how frustrated you may feel right now.



What I meant is yes, the changes are processed by an agent, but before they were being processed you accepted them yourself through the e-mail you were sent. And when I spoke to the airline they told me they can not offer another options as the first one was accepted.

At best they say they follow orders, not different then the third reich all following orders and murdering innocents. This is one company that must be avoided at all costs.

HOP2 Travel continues with their lie, they blame Lufthansa airlines group, according Lufthansa HOP2 Travel did not contacted them or their sales rep asking for a solution.

Charged Double for the same ticket

Update 06Mar2023: After multiple follow up emails and overseas calls on my side - which they kept bouncing from one agent to another, I am still waiting for a resolution.

Paid 2 thousand dollars to this scam agency

I paid 2 thousand dollars to this scam agency, and this has been a terrible experience. Hop2's lack of assistance and their failure to provide me with a resolution or even basic customer service has caused me significant frustration and financial loss. I urge others to think twice before booking with Hop2 and to avoid experiencing the same issues that I have faced.

I booked a flight with Hop2 from YEG to CEB but was unable to travel due to COVID restrictions. As a result, I contacted Hop2 to convert my flight to airline credit, for which they charged a US$200 fee. However, despite calling them multiple times over the past month, I have not been able to use my airline credit as they have not been helpful.
Each time I call, they provide me with a flight itinerary for a specific day and inform me that they need approval from the airline. After waiting 2-3 days, they inform me that the airline has denied the application and that I need to search for another itinerary, repeating the process all over again.
I strongly believe that this kind of service is unacceptable, and I feel the need to expose Hop2. They are not helping their customers and causing more inconvenience during these difficult times. This agency should not exist at all! If anyone can assist me in bringing attention to this matter, it would be greatly appreciated.
