Horizon PPM Reviews 2

During a recent complex project, Horizon PPM was leveraged on a trial basis to see what value it could offer. I was pleasantly surprised by how intuitive the product is. Whilst there is substantial functionality it’s also nice to see time spent on the look and feel.
It’s a breath of fresh air to be able to park the spreadsheet for once and have a real time view of how various workstreams are progressing with the ability to drill-down quickly to see where the focus is needed!

I was part of the core team for a data centre exit project for which we trialled Horizon PPM and it was refreshing to have a product to use that was genuinely useful for managing the project - from low level task tracking (where I was involved) right up to the high level stuff. (PM’s area)

Gone were the days of losing tasks assigned to you buried in your email inbox, or not knowing the right priority to tackle tasks, or their due date. With Horizon PPM this was all in a simple to filter view, always current and updated on the fly, it really did help to progress the project and keep on top of where things were blocking.

Having moved off to a project that is not trialing PPM I feel like we have moved backwards with regards to capabilities and project management abilities.
