Juliet began teaching my daughter roughly 6 weeks before her GCSE exams began - she had come highly recommended to us, but I was still uncertain as to how much difference could be made at what was essentially the eleventh hour - anyway, we gave it a go and my goodness me, am I glad that we did. Juliet was incredibly good at communicating with my daughter, helping her to develop her own ideas and consolidate her learning, so as she felt secure in what she knew and how to share it in exam conditions. In August, my daughter gained an 8 in English Language and a 9 in English Literature and I know that the power boost given by Juliet's teaching in those final 6 weeks was a game changer!

We are incredibly grateful for all the support and guidance Juliet has provided to our daughter over the past few years. This was the second time we turned to her for help, and once again, she exceeded all our expectations.

The first time, she played a crucial role in preparing our daughter for entry into a highly selective private school, helping her feel confident and well-prepared for both the interview and assessments. Thanks to her dedicated support, our daughter was accepted with great success.

More recently, we sought her help again — this time for entry exams and interviews for a competitive Sixth Form at one of the most selective local private schools. Her expertise in English and History, along with her ability to explain complex topics clearly and effectively, made a huge difference. Not only did she help improve our daughter’s academic skills, but she also boosted her confidence and exam readiness.

What really stood out to us was how caring and attentive Juliet was throughout the entire process. She consistently checked in to ask how things were going, showing genuine interest in our daughter’s progress. Her thoughtful, personalised approach and encouragement meant a great deal to us.

We couldn’t recommend Juliet highly enough — and we’ll definitely be coming back with our other child soon.

I am incredibly grateful to have found such a highly professional English tutor to help my son prepare for his GCSE exams. We arrived in the UK in October 2023, and he had only 1.5 academic years to prepare. As a teenager with English as a second language, he faced a significant challenge — but thanks to Juliet’s guidance and support, he made remarkable progress in a very short time.

Juliet tailored each session to achieve maximum progress within the limited time available, while also igniting his interest in the richness of the English language and culture. In addition to her deep understanding of the exam board requirements, Juliet has a unique ability to build trust and support confidence — something especially valuable for teenagers.

Juliet is brilliant, she made a big difference to Ben’s confidence in the run up to applying to schools. Both Ben and I would highly recommend. A brilliant tutor, she’s funny, engaging, kind and knowledgeable in a nutshell!

I would give 6 stars if I could. Juliet's individual approach to students allows to build strong personal relationships. My daughter was really invested into studying with her and was able to go a long way from someone struggling with 11+ mock tests to receiving an offer from one of the top-10 independent schools in UK (Godolphin and Latymer). My son also studied with Juliet 3 years ago; he received three offers from the top-10 list. Both my kids went to state primary schools. Their secondary choices would not have happened without Juliet. She is a treasure. She makes her students work hard but it does pay off. Worth every penny: she is an inspiration to her students and an amazing teacher.

Our daughter had 12 sessions in English, mainly creative writing, verbal reasoning and interview practice in order to prepare for Year 9 admission to the Perse School. Juliet provided valuable guidance, helped her focus and grasp the nuances of the assessment. Our daughter had to work hard end, she was offered a place at Perse and we're happy the effort has been fruitful.

Nothing speaks about effort put in as much as the achieved goal, and on the day of the results for my GCSE, i was more than satisfied. Looking back at my work, I definitely want to thank Juliet for all the help with that result as it did matter for me very much, so a massive thank you

Juliet is a wonderful person to work with. She helped restore my daughter's confidence in English during the lead up to her GCSEs. Juliet has a unique ability in connecting with young people on all levels (academically and therapeutically) and I would highly recommend her. My child looked forward to her sessions with Juliet and even remarked that she actually enjoyed her GCSE exam. I will definitely be back should my other child need support in this way.

My daughter loves her:) I think that’s really important as she doent feel like she is having lessons.. she enjoys very much her sessions, when I listen their initial chats I can see why Juliet is loved. Petek excelled in maths and reading, I believe her tutor has helped her enormously. I wish I knew her with my eldest as she struggled in maths in high school which we haven’t realised. Having good foundation in primary school will help them later and will make them enjoy more!

Juliet tutored both my children for few years now in both English and Maths. She’s excellent at her job. She’s very personable and able to create a connection with her students making the sessions interesting. She’s particular great at building confidence in both of my children. Extremely flexible, always willing to accommodate any extra sessions as required. We are greatful for all the support over the years!

Juliet worked with my daughter to prepare her for the 11+ exams. Juliet has a knack of making the sessions fun and my daughter always looked forward to them (unlike how she was when we wanted her to sit down with us!). Juliet also worked on soft skills, not just passing exams. My daughter got into her preferred school so it was definitely worth it!

Juliet has been working with both of my children for more than two years now. She is friendly, kind, very knowledgeable and supportive. They both have improved their English a lot! That includes my daughter, who has dyslexia and has gained a lot of confidence since starting working with Juliet.
She is very patient but encouraging and an endless source of material and information.
Additionally, since lockdown, she has been offering them workshops related with mental health and techniques to deal with anxiety, which have been a godsend.
I would recommend her without hesitation. She is great and super reliable and trustworthy. Communication is always easy and she is always willing to help both children and parents.
